NINE BIG CONTINENTS!

3 weeks later:

A soul was standing in the exosphere and had an expression of extreme pain.

It was none other than Ayuma now.

"Why is this world so different in comparison to Earth?!"

He had expected that there would be just one continent like Super Pangea on Earth. It was still the age of dinosaus.

It seemed that the era of man was long to come.

But coming back to point, this world had 9 continents.

Yes!

NINE.

Ans there were oddly no islands at all. He had even spent a whole week at sea. But it seemed that this planet ocean was not the same as Earth.

Unless the land had gigantic mass... it seemed that magic would corrode it and cause it to disintegrate into fine sand.

The shocking thing was this process shoould usually take atleast a few million years.

But,

in this planet, it just took 2 weeks for an island to form and disintegrate.

However, the corrosive properties water did not seem to affect living beings.

Billions if not trillions lived in the ocean after all. But once again, the cadavers or corpses would disintegrate in the ocean within a couple of weeks. But this was a rare thing to witness as fish would furiously eat any and every floating corpse.

Luckily, Ayuma managed to see the body of a giant whale... which was half eaten. It was still rotting, but traces of corrosion was seen as well

Though Ayuma was no scientist, he could still make out that the decayihg body of the whale was disintegrating a bit quickly.

When he stayed and observed, he could notice the corrosion happen at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Naked eye of the soul...

Maybe, a soul could see more clearly compared to even a guy with a microscope.

Ayuma didn't know.

But he was delighted to see that this was a whole new world. Unlike the stupid anime he watched, it would not have plotholes. He was so excited, his soul was literally humming.

A pity no one could see the sight of a soul humming by itself...

Pleased with his discovery, he went back to space and tried to memorise the world map.

If he was tangible, he would definetly make huge monuments describing this.

But sadly he could do nothing, not even draw on the sand, let alone think of doing cave paintings now.

He sighed as he thought it was such a pity that this world would never witness the glorious stone age paintings of Ayuma the great.

When done, he came back to the surface and decided to hibenate.

Something he found alarming was the fact that the more he napped, the more he felt like continuing his nap and just ignore all other things.

He wanted to ask the planet if this was the side effect of hibernating millions of years at a stretch.

Fortunately, the 5th week of his memorising the planet topography, the planet awoke.

"HELLO HUMAN. HOPEFULLY YOU ARE DOING WELL?"

"Doing well my head! Why did you not tell me that it has such a side effect? Hibernating causes me to lose interest in life. What the heck!!!"

The planet was calm.

Ayuma could not help but be suprised. Was it possible that the planet expected him to say this? He wasn't going to be mocked for asking he planet how to hibernate, would he!?

"LET ME ASK YOU A SIMPLE QUESTION.

HOW LONG DOES A HUMAN NEED TO NAP AT NIGHT?

IS IT ATLEAST 7 HOURS "

"Yeah. So what?"

"WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU SLEEP ONLY 5 HOURS? "

"You feel like sleeping some more and----- "

"Wait."

"So that was the reason I feel like napping?"

"YES. WHEN YOU USE '3 TENT PLANET HIBERNATION' TECHNIQUE, YOU MUST SLEEP ATLEAST 790 MILLION YEARS IN TOTAL. NOT ONE YEAR LESS,"

"Wait. So that hibernating was a technique?!"

Ayuma could almost see the planet nod graciously.

"How the heck can I use a technique which seems to be for planets exclusively? And am I going to become a planet if I continue napping?! Is there no way out?"

"IS THE TECHNIQUE CALLED EXCLUSIVE PLANET 3 TENT TECHNIQUE?"

"..."

"NO? THEN DON'T WORRY ABOUT SIDE EFFECTS. ALSO, IF IT WAS THAT EASY TO BECOME A PLANET... DO YOU THINK GOD WOULD LEAVE A CHEAT LIKE THAT TO EXIST?"

After scolding him, the planet once again went to nap. It didn't even bother to say Goodbye. He did not even know if planets ever spoke earlier.

Maybe planets did not have a concept of death.., so why would they say goodbye. He should ask the next time... do planets even age?

Finally,

Ayuma went to nap. This time he wanted to see if he could something different. So, Ayuma went to a place where lightning storms would occur often.

Unlike chinese novels, lightning did not hit his soul or have any effect at all.

What nonsense.

If magic had no effect... how would lightning have any?

Or was it because the planet was like his friend? ... He had no idea.

But he could atleast sleep knowing that no heaven defying psychos would go about destroying the world. From what he knew, the planet seemed to be one to like peace a lot. It would definelty not allow anyone to change it's situation.

He suspected that it was the planet's influencs which overruled Darwin's theories.

Else dinos and mammals would have gotten into large scale conflict.

Who but the planet could make them shut up and live quietly?

... Anyways, he should nap. he was feeling awfully tired just staying a month awake . So he input the correct no. this time.

Having slept 710 million years.He only needed 80 million years. So he set to 80 and went into dreams.
