Explosion and New Path

Even though Yakou didn't have a mirror at his disposition, he knew that he must have looked like shit, but that was to be expected since he fought literal hordes of the Primordial Beasts and even killed two at the Divine Extinction Realm.

"Probably yes... but it was worth it..."

He said quietly as the former Crown Princess of Brahma Monarch God Realm raised her brow at him.

"I managed to encounter and slay two Divine Extinction Realm Primordial Beasts and a whole horde of Divine Sovereign Realm and Divine Master Realm Primordial Beast when I was away..."

As he said that, he could see or feel her shock because it was evident and there was also a great deal of fear mixed in because nobody would expect that they would indeed encounter Divine Extinction Realm Primordial Beasts.

Even in the Realm of Gods, they were considered as nothing more than mere myth because nobody saw one alive. But that made sense because if someone saw it alive with his own eyes, he wouldn't be able to survive the onslaught.

"You are mad, do you know that?"

After she realized what happened, Qianye Ying'er couldn't hope to scold Yakou but there was also great admiration in her eyes that didn't escape the observant eyes of the Ōtsutsuki Clan and also...

Pride?

If he was correct, then it was everything that he needed to know for now.

"How long did I sleep?"

He asked because he felt well-rested at that.

"Only a few days, as you fell unconscious the moment you returned."

Hearing that, Yakou nodded in agreement as he sat on the bed and looked at the Brahma Goddess or, rather, soon-to-be one geniue one once the Brahma Fruit was finished.

"So... about that thing, you said before you dropped dead... should we finish that up?"

During the past days when Yakou was unconscious, Qianye Ying'er spent a lot of time contemplating what she wanted from life and how she wanted to live. Through all of her sacrifices, hatred, insecurities and experiences, she decided to give it a try.

It didn't take her long to realize what had happened with Ōtsutsuki Yakou after a short discussion with Warship's Artifact Spirit and Gu Zhu. Though it only confirmed her previous suspicions about the Crown Prince of a world-devouring Clan.

It seemed that their entire Clan was extremely emotional, or rather they could draw great power from their emotions if they wished; it could become their strongest side if mastered and weakest link if left be.

Yakou has chosen to suppress his emotions to focus on cultivation, training and becoming the best in his hunger for power; it was rather similar to her own story. J

ust with the exception that he was boiling a kettle... that one sooner or later explodes.

And he exploded or rather broke down because it was too much for him.

Ironically, though, he remained sane enough that when it started to disappear as far as possible because his Chakra deviated and he was destroying everything around him, he completely lost hold of himself.

If he remained, then she was aware that her chances of survival were pretty much null because one wave of his rampart Chakra would be enough to obliterate her until not even a speck of dust remained from her.

"Yes... that... I think that I said enough; what's your answer?"

Qianye Ying'er then just absentmindedly nodded because she made her choice already.

Sometime later...

Yakou sat together with Qianye Ying'er underneath the God Tree as they observed the majestic plant; both of them were resting.

The God Tree was growing very fast, faster than anyone initially anticipated, due to all the fertilizer it got from the corpses of more than two hundred peak cultivators from the Brahma Monarch God Realm.

And around eighty of them were at the Divine Master Realm, while the rest were at the late stage to peak stage of the Divine Sovereign Realm.

Yakou even sensed through the connection with the God Tree that the unique Brahma Fruit was already in the process of germination.

Slow and steady.

"The Fruit is growing well... the results would be even better than expected... your father sent far more people after you than I thought."

Yakou muttered while Qianye Ying'er was leaning over his chest, as she scowled deeply when she heard him mentioning her father, the person she hated the most in the world right now and wanted nothing more than just to tear him apart.

"That is probably for the Word-Defying Heaven Manual... one part of it should be located within the God Realm of Absolute Beginning and only I knew its approximate location."

Word-Defying Heaven Manual was the central inheritance of the Ancestral Goddess, someone whom Yakou assumed to be either Tier 5 being or Tier 6; it was highly possible that the Ancestral Goddes was a Low-Rank Chaotic Origin Lifeform.

So her inheritance would be indeed a very, very precious thing even for the Ōtsutsuki Clan because it was of Chaotic Origin Lifeform.

"No wonder that Qianye Fantian is so hell-bent on capturing you alive... do you know where exactly the World-Defying Heaven Manual is located?"

Yakou asked, as this was one of the prime targets that he wanted to get his hands on... obtaining a Low-Rank Chaotic Origin Lifeform Legacy would indeed bring him a tremendous amount of Contribution Points.

"World-Defying Heaven Manual is divided into three parts and I only know that one part is somewhere in the most dangerous areas of the God Realm of Absolute Beginning and another one should be somewhere in the Northern Divine Region."

World-Defying Heaven Manual had three fragments that were lost since the Age of Gods and Devils.

"Hmm... so that means he will try again?"

Even Yakou was certain that Qianye Fantian would try once more to get Qianye Ying'er.

"Yes, he will stop at nothing and basically, he couldn't risk of the secret leaking because that is the only path to the True God Stages."

Indeed, they were... in the modern ages, the path to the True God Stages was cut out and there was almost no way to reach them. The World-Defying Heaven Manual presented a sole and unique opportunity for many to embark on an entirely new journey.
