Lucien gulped nervously as he observed their serious expressions. Why were they so serious? Was it because it would hurt? But how bad could it really be?
'As long as Lithira's body is still intact, it should be fine, right?' he thought to himself trying to calm down.
Lithira clapped her hands together, attempting to lighten the mood. "Alright, let's move on to the next step!" she exclaimed.
"Try to draw this in the air," she continued, demonstrating by moving her finger to sketch a rune.
As she did, the runic alphabet shimmered in a vivid red hue, with three distinct strokes forming the symbol. To Lucien, it resembled an 'A,' but with more intricate details.
"Make sure you draw it accurately. Practice until it's perfect," Lithira reminded him.
Lucien nodded and attempted to replicate the rune. However, when he finished, the rune didn't glow red like Lithira's; instead, it emitted a soft white light before crumbling away.
