Farewell To Youthhood
Lucien was ready to go to Brigantiea's place with a bag containing his clothes and other necessary items for daily life, including his work and papers.
He didn't know what she needed when she was in labor. Food? Clean towel? Water? Clothes? She probably has many of them, so he ended up bringing nothing.
Just then, his mother appeared behind him with a basket in her hands.
She handed it to him. "Here's some food, milk, and apple pie. She'll need to eat to keep up her strength."
"Thanks, Mother. But what should I do?" he asked, genuinely unsure of how to help, especially since there were no doctors or guides to accompany someone in labor, particularly a dragon laying eggs.
Amane looked at him with serious expression, grabbing his shoulders. "Stay with her and don't leave her side. You're an adult now, Lucien. You'll figure it out."
