Chapter 34 The Lovers

Orario, Hostess of Feritility.

The celebration began. Everyone was happily drinking and eating. Judas' subordinates are socializing with the others and everyone is having a great time. Judas immediately notices her peculiarities. He didn't know if he wanted to laugh or cry. Is the Trickster Goddess secretly an innocent maiden in heart? I know it's his fault, but still. He never thought it would end up this way.

"Yes. Loki-sama. It's great here. How about you Loki-sama? Sorry girls, I'll have to borrow Loki-sama for a moment!"

Judas Iscariot smiled at them. The girls began whispering to each other. With Judas' keen hearing, it was easy what they were saying.

'that's Loki-sama type? Seems a bit too normal?'

'Have you heard from Riveria? that's the one. He's been marked by Loki-sama."

'see that bald guy. That's Loki-sama's crush.'

It seems that Riveria Ljos Alf is only reliable in magic and adventuring, but when it comes to love. She's like a regular raging aunty. Judas made a mental note. Judas took Loki to the center-most gathering. Judas took a chair and stood up.

Judas pulled Loki up, although he was only a few inches taller than her, he felt how light her body was. Judas smiled brightly at her. Presenting her to everyone. The tomato goddess looked a bit troubled, but she knew the assignment

"I, Patches, will pay for everything!"

Judas announced

"Woohoo!!!"

Another round of celebration began. Everyone shouted, some whistled at the implication, while others hollered. Judas escorted the goddess back to her table.

"How was it Loki-sama? Are you also having fun?"

Judas asked the Goddess who seemed troubled. Loki returned his gaze and said.

"Honestly... I'm a bit troubled... No mortal has dared to treat me this way."

Loki coquettishly said. Constantly looking around while stealing glances at him.

"Was I too aggressive Loki-sama? If that's so I'm sorry."

"No! no no. I'm very flattered, just very confused! It's fine..."

Loki answered immediately. Judas nodded in understanding. Then Judas again.

"Loki-sama why don't we get to know each other more? Perhaps this will put you more at ease."

Loki nodded meekly. The surroundings seemed to have gone quieter. Loki and Judas were conversing delightfully when Judas felt something. This is it. He's very close.

"D-do you really think I'm the most beautiful goddess in Orario?" Loki finally initiated a conversation on her own.

Judas looked at her deeply and said.

"You are the most dazzling bright star I have seen. Loki-sama, with no disrespecting. Allow me to keep your visage in my heart."

"I-i understand!" Loki said hesitantly.

Judas felt something inside him. Then noticed a wisp of spirituality enter him. With haste, Judas signaled the other two.

"It has been a long night Loki-sama! I and my companions still have some affairs to attend to. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this bountiful night! I will never forget this wonderful evening forever."

"I-is that so? Well, see you tomorrow!" Loki said seemingly disappointed.

Judas has done his job. It's now time to leave. Swiftly they left. A moment later before they leave. The door burst open silencing everyone in the Hostess. A very angry Tsubaki Collbrande walks in.

"Where are those bastards!?"

On the darkest night, Judas who was standing at the top of the mountains of Valis on a carriage being driven by Old Man Houdini. While being followed by two more carriages filled to the brim with Valis. He smiled and shouted at the top of his lung

"I, Judas Iscariot the Santa have come! This is my gift to you Orario!"

Judas began throwing bags of valis to the streets of Orario Slum.

"My god! Someone is throwing away bags of Valis! Quick get everyone here!"

Soon a horde of poor and homeless people emerges almost starting a riot. In the future, this night will become a holiday where everyone throws bags of valis on the street for everyone to grab.

Judas was happily eating an apple and walking the street. Yesterday couldn't be even more great. Looking around the street he spotted a guild member pasting a poster on the wall. He decides to look at it. Judas' smile grew larger. 

The poster says:

Full Name: Judas Iscariot?"

Crime: Swindled 1 Billion Valis From Hephaestus Familia. Come to Etna Volcano For More Information

Reward: 250,000,000 Million Valis"

Judas' day just got even better. Not only did the system give him generous rewards yesterday. He also became Orario's most wanted. It couldn't get more better. 

"Thank You Loki-sama, you are truly a shining star!"

It's all thanks to Loki that he understands the core acting of Swindler. One of the core acts of Swindler is to steal someone's heart! Judas would have never known until she gave him a hint! No wonder Swindlers like to target lonely married women! It's because they need it in part of acting! In this care, the digestion worked because the target is a God with a pure heart. No wonder the Marauder(Thief) Pathway is related to the "Lovers" tarot card!

Judas nodded and started walking away. He had rested well, it was time to check the rewards and get the next potion.

Twilight Manor, Loki Familia

On the outside, The Loki Familia seems normal. But from within there is chaos secretly brewing. Two new factions emerged within the familia, and it was all because of a certain baldy. Since last night, their goddess has been acting differently than normal.

Usually when something bad happens. Their goddess would throw a tantrum but this time is different. Their goddess didn't even sleep last night. Always looking at a distance. Sighing every time. Being forlorn. This heavily affected the Familia. 

"This can't go on." This was said by Riveria who was annoyingly pinching her glabella

"Indeed. That's why-." Tione Hiryute, the big sister said something

"Your Idea is too radical, and I won't let that scoundrel get close to Loki-sama ever again!"

"That's why you're wrong, you are too passive. They are meant for each other! This is why you're still a kid compared to me!"

The two factions of radical and conservative. The Radicals headed by Tione, wanted to capture Patches alive and be forced to marry their goddess. Amazonian Style. While Riveria wanted to teach Patches a lesson for disrespecting the Loki Familia. These two factions only agreed on one thing, and that was to put a bounty on Patches. The problem was the prime decision maker, their goddess had been ignoring them, and dodging them.

"Well, there's no point arguing here. it's your turn now. If you can convince her, I'll go with your plan. No matter how crazy as it sounds." Riveria only facepalmed at the thought.

Tione grinned smugly.

"Watch this, look at what real experience looks like."

Tione ran beside Loki who was sitting in the middle throne chair. Everyone was looking amused.

"Looooki-saaaama!~~ Have you heard?"

"Hmmmm? Ahhh..." Loki said and began being absentmindedly again

This was Loki's go-to response since last night. But Tione, the experience, knew exactly what to say next.

"Did you know~? Patches got a bounty today! The Hephaestus familia wants him killed! How horrible. Right Loki-sama?"

"Urrgk!"

Loki jerked. Tione instantly noticed. Tione smiled, looking like she caught her prey.

"That's why you should help him! It would be terrible if something bad happened to him!" Tione tried to convince her.

Loki began nodding along. But still not convinced.

"Loki-sama's last night movement was too passive! If she had been more proactive, maybe Judas wouldn't have left. That's why Loki-sama should put up a bounty! To be more assertive!"

"Urrrgk..."

Loki looked down, but Tione, who had known her goddess for a long time, knew exactly that she had won. She gave a thumbs-up to Riveria who just facepalmed harder. Knowing she had been defeated.

"F-fine... put up a bounty, I-I'll leave it to you, kids!"

Suddenly suddenly said, smiling and convinced. Everyone sighed a relief. Except for Bete Logan, who had evil plans. Finally noticing their goddess recovering, Bete threw a low-ball snickeringly.

"Kuheheheh! The Goddess of Tricks got tricked again!"

"Orya!'

"ARGH!@!"

Tiona who was nearby, immediately crushed his skull with a downward punch.

Loki was fine, and a new wanted poster was put up for Patches "Judas Iscariot". He is now wanted alive, his crime? tricking Loki... And a new rumor spread. It was that the Trickster Goddess was actually in love with a swindler. Much smut was written and many gods imaginations skyrocketed.
