Aaradhana

I went to the apartment which was given to me. It is 1BHK. After unpacking my things I took some rest . Then I saw the diary in my desk.I started reading it. (As diary is only way in which I express my feelings).There where incident in which we (Arjun and me)were fighting and thinking of those days now I couldn't control my laughter. I still couldn't forget those incidents

Incident 1

One day on my way to hostel Arjun came near me and said "Aaradhana I didn't think you were so beautiful.Let me see how you look without specs ."He removed my glasses. He kept staring at me and after a while he went few steps back and said "Aaradhana ,are you able to see me?.Tell me how many fingers can you see in my hand, hiding few fingers"mocking me. After that when I tried to catch him I felt down as my eye sight was poor and he came to me and nursed my wounds. I then snatched my glasses and started fighting with him. When I was trying to catch him ,I fell down again and my leg got sprained.He nursed my leg and tried to carry me.As I was so heavy for him to carry,he made me sit in trolley which is used for carrying balls and took me to hostel .He pushed the trolley with more efforts and each moment he was cursing me,"Why are you heavy fatty?. See I am not able to carry you ".

When I reached hostel gate I said,"I used to get upset about my figure.I curse my figure each time.After joining basketball my weight got reduced by 5 kgs. I used to be happy because of that. But suddenly I feel sad now"

He said,"It's good you lost 5kgs .Why are you sad about it "

I got up from trolley ensuring that I am inside the gate and locking it I told with sad face,"Yes Arjun. If this same incident happened 2 months before,then I would able to see how will you be carrying me with additional 5kgs .Since I am not able to see it,it upset me a lot "

He said,"Don't worry Aaradhana" and started thinking

Seeing him that he realized what I said I ran towards my room.Arjun started banging the gate and failing to unlocking the lock he shouted,"Aaradhana you devil.I 'll not leave you ".

Present

I moved to next page.

Incident 2

One day when I was drawing our pictures in notebook.He came near me and asked ,"Aaradhana are you feeling thirsty?Shall I bringcold water?."

I said "Yes"

He then removed the cap and when I was about to drink it he snatched the water from me and poured it on my head. Knowing that I was fooled ,I got angry and started leaving the place.

After few minutes he came running towards me and gave me a towel as an apology and did sit ups .

Thinking he apologized truly ,I took the towel and started wiping my face.

After few seconds I saw some black paint marks in my hand. I checked my face with mobile camera.

It took 10 mins for me to realised that he gave me a towel which has grease.I got irritated. He came near me and took picture and saying "Happy Halloween ,you devil",he ran away.

After he left a little smile came on my lips ,I thought ,"Though you are making funny of me. I am so happy as I made you laugh".

Present

Thinking of those happy moments I missed him so much now.His words "You self centred girl.I hate you most"started echoing my mind.

Then I took his photo which I kept in my diary and started caressing his face .I said ,"Arjun .Why did we split like that? .You know what I loved you since childhood. I am still loving you. Even though I loved you,I helped you in bringing you and Rupali together. It wasn't easy job to bring you close. But still you called me self centred right? If you ask me to "Stay with me Aara" for one time with little affection I will come and stay with you shamelessly.I miss you a lot Arjun .Why couldn't you even realise it . Everyone in the college know that I loved you, except you.I miss you a lot Arjun"

(In other end,Arjun was also thinking these memories holding the chain with star and moon pendent)

Arjun

( Still looking at the pendent). I didn't know that your family will betray us like that. As

anitha is murai ponnu(the girl who has a right to marry the boy within family) for sanjay we thought of giving Anitha to your family. But when we came your home we saw Sanjay and his wife Keerthana. That time I thought "Leave your chinamma why didn't you inform me about it atleast Aaru" I noticed how your chinamma was happy with their relationship.Though you were not there at time,I know that you'll also be happy because all others were happy. I couldn't forget how anitha cried that day. You know what I loved you only from college but she loved your brother since childhood. How can he betray my sister.When my mother questioned about this to your chinamma.she said, "Its not like you think Poorva. Sanjay eloped and married Keerthana.I hated them initially but seeing her behaviour my heart melted down".I got angry "Can you get a better daughter in law than Anitha".When I was about to shout Anitha held my hands and said me not to. It's all because of her as she used to call anitha as marumegale (daughter-in-law) since childhood.Because of that my sister started growing feelings in her mind. I hate your chinamma the most. Till now I am believing that you are not part of their plan. If I get to that you were also involved then I 'll not forgive you in my life Aara.

Next Day Morning,

Aaradhana

I reached office at 7 as I had no works in home. I started sight seeing the office. I went to rooftop and saw a garden there. I saw Arjun watering the plants with more love and smile .

I thought so this Mussolini(former PM of Italy ,he was very aggressive") can also have this cute side. After watering plants he went near love birds and started petting him. He was even more handsome when he was petting the lovebirds.

Suddenly he got a call from Anitha,"Hi Anitha,How are you?how is your husband?All fine right?Did brother-in-law completed his world tour with his friends?" After few seconds "Ok sissy. Take care then . Come home often ." after few seconds "Super.so you'll be staying 3 months with us.I didnt realise that my little sister grown up and got married already.I see you at home sissy .Love you so much "

I thought "When did this happen?"

I want to confront him that ,"Why didn't he inform me about Anitha's marriage?"

The way he cared her sister was so pure and true .I yearned for my brother's love every single day. But finally he joined with that devil Keerthana and started treating me badly.

I checked the time,"it was 7.50". I went to my cabin and waited for Arjun.

Once he entered I saw his eyes with happiness. Happiness of meeting his sister.

Once he noticed me that I am staring him he came to his cold face.

He said,"Good morning Aaradhana. What's my schedule? "

I said "Good morning sir " and started telling his schedule.

He asked,"Don't we have any add shoot today?"

Noticing that I missed it,"Sorry Sir, I missed it. We have a promotion for our clothing company in the evening."

He asked,"Who is the model?"

I said," Model name is Elina. She is the trending model in UK. She'll be reaching India at 1pm and arrangements are made for stay in ' ITC GRAND CHOLA' "

He said,"Ok.There should'nt be any complaint while she's staying here"

Soon afternoon arrives

Elina came to his office after landing India

Getting shocked Arjun said," Is there any problem with your stay Elina?"

she said,"No Arju. I came to see you.Its been a while"

I thought ,"she called him Arju and still he didn't get angry on her. Dont overthink Aaradhana. May be he is tolerating her because of the shoot"

He came near me and said,"Ms. Aaradhana, Ms. Elina wish to have indian cuisine for lunch. Go and prepare Chettinad chicken briyani and mushroom pepper fry and Red chilli prawn for her "

Getting irritated I said,"Sir,I can order for her in good Restaurant why should I cook?"

He said,"No more questions.Do as I say"

Suddenly another devil (Rupali)came.

Rupali - Hi Arjun. Are we ready with model for our clothing company?

Elina - I am here Rupali.How are you?

(Both were talking like best friends)

I was shocked because they (Arjun and Rupali) broke up in college and how come they became together again.

My mind was filled with unanswered questions.First it was Anitha's marriage and now it's Rupali.
