Astrologer in Arjun home

(Everyone gathered in hall,while astrologer is checking for a good date)

Astrologer - Madam, today itself is an auspicious day.

Anitha - How can we make arrangements in half a day

Arjun - Don't worry sissy , my fatty will take care of that

Anitha- Arjun ,you are too shameless, she is going to get married how can you still call her as "My fatty"

Arjun - Ehhhhhhhhh Anitha. She knows her fiance hardly 4 months. But she is my best friend since childhood. So I have the right over than anyone. It applies for me also. She has the right over me than Rupali.

Aaradhana- Don't worry Anitha, I'll manage all the arrangements. Anitha will your husband come today?

Anitha- I informed him yesterday about Arjun's marriage. He said he'll be coming next week only.

Aaradhana - Ok.

Poorva- Rani , Tell us what should we do,we'll help you.

Aaradhana - Athai , first we have to make list of items we have to carry to her house .

Poorva - Yes Rani. Add garland of jasmine flower , saree, bangles, bunch of beetle leaves, bhindi.

( In South India- When marriage talk is over, groom mother will pin garland of jasmine flower in brides hair and gives her a plate with a saree, bangles, some flowers,bunch of beetle leaves. By This ritual groom mother tells the girl that she is going to be her daughter in law)

Evening Arrives

(Arjun family are on the way to Rupali home)

(Rupali family were waiting outside to welcome Arjun family)

Anitha was holding a plate with Sweets and chocolates, Poorva was holding a plate which she needs to give to bride, Aaradhana was holding a plate with fruits.

Before getting out from the car

(Poorva tells them , listen girls you should keep this plate only in the hall where the function will begin, you should not keep it down in some other place even for a second. Got it?)

(Rupali family gave them a warm welcome as they enter)

Rupali brother ' Shiva ' was eyeing Aaradhana evily.

On their way to house, Anitha gets a call from her husband .

Anitha tells Aaradhana that she wants to attend this call and asks her to go first, giving her plate to Aaradhana. Everyone went ahead of Aaradhana, as she could'nt carry both the plates together.

Seeing this Shiva came near her.

Shiva - Miss do you want any help?

Aaradhana - No thank you, these things should be carried by people from groom side.

Shiva - Common Miss, Give me your plate, consider me as your husband till we enter the hall, so I can carry the plate with you.

Aaradhana - Mind your words Mister. If I tell this to Arjun he'll not spare your life.

Shiva - I got to know from Rupali that you are also going to get married in few days. But still you say that you'll complain to Arjun. You could have told me that you'll complain to your would be. So....One side love huh?

Aaradhana - It's none of your business. Now leave my way.

Shiva - Common baby, Then we'll shall make it as our business

Aaradhana slaps him hard with her slipper and moves forward. When she was about to move forward,he pins ends of her saree paloo in door nail . Aaradhana didn't notice this as her saree was big. As everyone were busy with their chat didn't notice this. Anitha who just completed the call saw Aaradhana carrying two plates with difficulty. Anitha didn't see Aaradhana paloo which got stuck in nail.As soon as Anitha enter, Shiva runs fast ahead of them there by closing the door.

Aaradhana gives a plate to Anitha.Anitha went ahead of Aaradhana as her mother called her. Aaradhana starts to move, When she took her third step, her saree started to tear and she drops the plate,covering her body with her hands. Arjun who hears the sound of plate first sees her ,unbutton his shirt and ran close to her.

Aaradhana (crying)- Please don't come near me. I don't have saree in my body

Arjun without uttering any word, goes infront of her ,wraps her body with his shirt and hugs her tight

Arjun -Shhhh.Dont worry I will protect you.

Poorva rushes with the saree in her plate and wraps Aaradhana with it and hugs her , telling "Rani Dear, Don't cry , Everything is alright now"

Arjun then step backwards and sees Shiva who was recording all this. His eyes turns red out of anger. Aaradhana helds his hands and signalls him "Don't".

Poorva takes Aaradhana to a room near by and dresses her. She then comes out with Aaradhana.

Aaradhana comes out and gives the shirt to Arjun

( Arjun got mesmerised on seeing Aaradhana in green saree. It went well with her fair skin)

Rupali Mom - What is this Poorva ? You gave her the saree which you should give to Rupali . You completed the first ritual of marriage with another girl. How can you do that? And how can your son hug a girl without saree infront of everyone. Chiii!!!, How can I give my Rupali to him. What will the society think of me and my family. If he could hug her shamelessly in front of anyone then he could.....

(Before she finishes)

Arjun - Stop it aunty. How can you talk bad about another women being a woman. I don't have to prove my relationship with Aaradhana to anyone. I know her since childhood. She is the most important women for me in this world next to...

Rupali Mom( with curiosity) - next to Rupali eh??

Arjun - No Aunty, Please let me finish ,she is the most important woman for me next to my amma and Anitha. Infact she is as important as them . If you utter bad about her anymore, I'll call off this marriage. And what more Rupali would lose her job and I could even bankrupt your family.

Rupali - Amma, Please be quiet for sometime. I know about their relationship.They are friends since childhood and Arjun can't see his friend crying or getting hurt.

( Rupali goes inside and brings out a new saree and gives Poorva )

Rupali - Aunty, please give me this saree, then ritual will be complete.

Arjun - Good Rupali, it's good that you understood us atleast.

Poorva gives the saree to Rupali and Rupali comes wearing it. Though the saree looked good on her , Aaradhana was looking better. And all these while Arjun was only looking at Aaradhana.

Rupali mother gets irritated on seeing this.

Rupali mother thinks , "I want to make that girl away from Arjun life or else Rupali cannot live a happy life with Arjun.

After the ritual Arjun drops Aaradhana and her chinamma to her apartment.

(Chinamma and Aaradhana are getting down from the car and Arjun still couldn't takes his eyes of from Aaradhana )

Arjun - Aaradhana..

Aaradhana - Yes Arjun

Arjun - Can you bring me a glass of water.

Chinamma - Oh my god, I forgot to call you inside, sorry Dear. Arjun come inside.

Arjun - No athai, it's late already. I just need a glass of water.

Chinamma - ok Dear, Aaradhana get him water. I have some work,so I'll go inside first.

Aaradhana goes inside and brings a water bottle and a glass. She hides the glass behind her hand and gives him water bottle.

Arjun(Mr Arrogant Beast)- Aaradhana , I asked you a glass of water,not a bottle of water

Aaradhana - I expected this,

( She pours the water from water bottle in the glass and gives him)

(Arjun drinks the water)

Arjun - Tell me what did you expect?

Aaradhana - I remembered an incident

Arjun - What incident?

Aaradhana - When we were in college, you asked me to brink a glass of water one day. When I bought a glass of water, you said "You dummy, if I ask a glass of water you must give me a bottle of water" and other day in office when you asked water , I gave you a water bottle. You scolded me in front of meeting like,"Aaradhana, I asked a glass of water not water bottle". To avoid that confusion I bought both, hiding the glass behind.

(Arjun couldn't control his laughter and started laughing on hearing this)

Aaradhana - Why are you laughing?

Arjun - Nothing,....You are very smart ( continues laughing)

Aaradhana - By the way Arjun. Thank you for saving me today.

Arjun - shhhh. Chill. You are my friend. I can do anything for you.

Aaradhana (smiles) - Ok

( Arjun leaves the apartment)

(Karmegam enters)

Karmegam -Aaradhana who was that in the car?

Aaradhana - Arjun,He just left. If you came 1 minute before, I could have introduced you both.

Karmegam (gets shocked in hearing Arjun name, putting forceful smile) - Ahh. Arjun. I missed to see him.

Aaradhana - No problem Karmegam.You 'll meet him next time as we'll be meeting often.

Karmegam - Sure Aaradhana.

(Karmegam gets a call and he sees Aaradhana)

Aaradhana -You go on, I'll go inside.

(Inside Aaradhana room)

Aaradhana recalls the incident that happened today and how Arjun hugged her infront of everyone. She started to blush.

(Chinamma sees this)

Chinamma - I know what made you blush like this. It's not late now. Take a correct decision so that don't regret it later

Aaradhana (comes back to her sense)- It's not like that chinamma, Arjun considers me as his friend.

(Karmegam hears their talk and leaves the place with anger)

Karmegam (with evil voice) - Arjun , I know how to deal with you.

(He makes a call )

Next Day-

(Karmegam in Aaradhana apartment)

Karmegam - Aunty, my parents wants to keep our engagement soon.

(Aaradhana gets shocked on hearing this)

Chinamma- it's very fast Dear, we have to inform many relatives

Karmegam - No Aunty, My parents wish to have my engagement in my home town. They want to keep it as simple and private.

Chinamma - Ok then I'll inform Arjun family...

Karmegam- No aunty, we don't need to invite anyone. we'll invite them on other functions.

Aaradhana - But they are not anyone.

Karmegam- Aaradhana, I also wanted to invite them but my parents want it to have it as private.

Chinamma - No problem dear, I'll inform Poorva. She'll understand.

( Arjun office)

Aaradhana continue reading Arjun schedule.Arjun finds that she was struggling in reading the schedule

Arjun - Aaradhana, is something wrong? Tell me

Aaradhana- You shouldn't get mad if say something. Got it?

Arjun - I'll not, now tell.

Aaradhana- Yesterday Karmegam told that his parents want our engagement to be held fast as I told I'll marry only after your marriage

Arjun - Ok..

Aaradhana - They want the engagement to be private.

Arjun - So. Lets have our family and their family.We need not call others.

Aaradhana - Their parents are hesitated to meet you ,athai,mama,anitha. So they want engagement to happen between ...

Arjun( as Mr. Arrogant Breast)-Between.... What?

Aaradhana- Between me,chinamma,and them.

Arjun- You agreed for that?

Aaradhana- Arjun listen...to me.

Arjun - What? you only wanted our family to patch up but now you want your engagement to happen between you people alone.Amazing Aaradhana. This is how you people value your relationship.

Aaradhana - Still not conformed. My chinamma will be talking to your amma.

Arjun (in cold voice)- Leave it .. Personal talk need not be spoken in office here anymore

Aaradhana - Arjun, listen

Arjun (in cold voice)- I said Personal talks need not be spoken in office. Personal means everything.

Aaradhana - Sorry Sir.

Arjun - Just....Just get out .

( Aaradhana leaves the room with upset face)
