Aaradhana fasts for Arjun

Morning 10 am

Decorations were going in Arjun house.

Aaradhana was busy in guiding the decorators.

Poorva (comes with plate near Aaradhana) - Rani, you cannot be empty stomach all these while. Have something

Aaradhana - No athai, I can't have .

Poorva - But why?

Aaradhana ( in nervous voice) - Athai, there are lots of work to do in home . I cannot eat in middle .

Poorva - Rani, atleast drink some juice.

Aaradhana - No athai.I 'll drink later.

(Poorva pulls Aaradhana to sofa )

Poorva - Tell me what happened? You are not looking good after coming from temple.

Aaradhana - No athai, I am perfectly fine

Poorva - Tell me Aaradhana. You said you are treating as my mother. So you cannot tell lie to me.I can see clearly that something wrong with your face

( Getting no response )

Poorva - Promise me that you are alright.

Aaradhana ( in mind ) - Sorry athai , I cannot tell you what happened in temple and what priest said at any cost.Sorry for lieing to you

Aaradhana promises

Aaradhana - Athai, I am alright , I am perfectly fine.

Poorva - It's so good to hear dear. Eat something before you do something

Aaradhana refuses

Poorva - Atleast drink this juice

( Poorva forcefully brings the juice near her, suddenly Arjun comes down and Aaradhana sees his injured head)

Aaradhana eyes to the left side and pulls Poorva hand away and scolds electrician, "What are you doing? Can't you see the wire is broken. What will happen if people touch it accidentally when current is passed. Please focus on these "

Aaradhana - Athai, see I was away for a minute , and mistakes are happening.I will eat later after everything is complete.

Poorva - Ok dear. But have something ok

Aaradhana - Ok athai

Aaradhana - Thank god, she didn't find.

Back in 6 am

Poorva - Rani, you know today is not a good day for engagement. We are doing this only because of Arjun. I feel like something bad is going to happen today.

Aaradhana - Don't worry athai. Everything will be alright. Will go to temple athai and your mind will be relaxed.

(Aaradhana and Poorva were getting ready for the temple.)

Suddenly Rupali Mother calls Poorva.

Rupali Mother - Poorva, can you come to my place with Rupali and your family except Arjun. According to our tradition early morning, on the day of engagement we have to invite groom's family and tribute a prayer to late people. After that only we'll start further preparations of the engagement that day.

Poorva - Then we'll come by 7.30m . Because I,..

Rupali Mother- No Poorva , Today 7.30 -8.30 is a bad time. It would be better if we finish the prayer by that time or we are in mid of prayer .

Poorva- Ok

Poorva tells everything to Aaradhana

Poorva - What will I do Rani?

Aaradhana - Athai, you people go, I'll go to temple . I 'll do pooja on behalf of all.

( Aaradhana goes to temple . Pooja is completed )

Priests - Dear Aaradhana. Is something wrong?

Aaradhana - No appa ( During college she used to come to this temple when she is upset. Priest used to consider as his own daughter ).

Priest - I know you since your college. Even when your had problems you were crying for a moment and you cheered up yourself. But now I am seeing fear in your eyes. Fear of something bad is going to happen to your loved ones.

Aaradhana - Yes appa, you know my friend Arjun right , he's engagement is going to happen today evening after 6 pm.

Priest - Ok...What?

Aaradhana - Yes appa , what happened?

Priest - Today evening is not good time dear. If any function happen that time means ,then the son of that family will die or his life will be at risk.

( Get's shocked)

Aaradhana - Appa, nothing will happen

Preist - Dear , there is always something beyond our hands. If you ignore my words you'll be seeing the reaction. And unknowingly you 'll be part of the damage.If you change your mind, call me.You have my number right?

Aaradhana - Yes appa

( Aaradhana leaves home)

Aaradhana sees rope of chandler is not tied properly. She keeps her pooja Material aside and takes the chandler rope end and ties it to the window corner. she then reaches the hall to check if she tied it correctly. Arjun comes there.

Arjun- Where is everyone?

Aaradhana - They went to Rupali house for doing some prayers to their fore parents.

Arjun- Why didn't you go?

Aaradhana - I didn't go because I have to take care of this arrangement.

Arjun - Ok. I am feeling hungry. Can you bring something to eat?

Aaradhana - Sure

Aaradhana brings dosa and Sambhar for him

( Arjun was looking at Aaradhana while having breakfast, Aaradhana was looking after the arrangements.Karmegam sees them by hiding near the door )

Karmegam ( in mind) - Aaradhana, you think, that I don't know you are loving Arjun. I know you will only love him in your life. But you cannot love him after our marriage right? So for us to live a happy married life, this Arjun must be dead.

Karmegam sees the chandler rope tided to the window.

Karmegam - Aaradhana be prepared to cry. Your love is going to die. Arjun sorry my friend, your love is being an obstacle in my marriage. I'll owe you if we have rebirth.

( Karmegam cuts a part of the rope)

Karmegam (in mind) - Live your life till these rope lose it balance and chandeller falls on you. (laughs evily)

Arjun gets a call and moves away .

Aaradhana sees that Arjun went away

Aaradhana - Cant he sit in a place for 10 mins and eat?.He went away without closing the food.

(She goes to kitchen and brings a plate to close Arjun's plate)

She then throws a paper at Arjun

Arjun stars at her with his cold eyes

Aaradhana signals eat and attend the call

Arjun -ok....

He sees the chandler about to fall on Aaradhana

Arjun (shouts)-Aaruuu...go away

Aaradhana got shocked on his shouting and didnt move

Arjun ran towards her , holding her he fell down in the side.Arjun was down , Aaradhana was on him, he was hugging her tightly and he saw chandeler falling in the floor. A piece of glass striked in Aaradhana shoulder and then got pierced in Arjun fore head.

Aaradhana coming to consious moved away from and saw the glass in Arjun forehead. Tears started falling from her eyes

Aaradhana- You idiot.See what did you do .There is a piece of glass in your forehead.Why did you hurt yourself for saving me?

Arjun (in cold voice) - Are you so dump?How could I see you die before my eyes,couldnt you see that I care about you a lot.

Aaradhana - How can you call me dummy , you Zero IQ Arjun? You were risking your life just for saving me? What will I tell Poorva athai,Anitha,Rupali if anything happens to you. what will happen to them if you die? what will happen to me if you die...

Aaradhana realised what she said

Arjun - What did you say? Come again..

Aaradhana- What will happen to them if you die?

Arjun - No after that . What will happen to you if I die right? Why did you say that? Tell me who am I to you?

Aaradhana (in nervous voice ) - F....Friend

Arjun - Only friend

Aaradhana sees his head bleeding

She touches his forehead and remove the glass. He pushes her hand.

Arjun - Aaradhana, Answer me first.

Aaradhana- Arjun, we can have our fight later. See your head is bleeding

(Arjun holds her shoulder tightly)

Arjun - You dummy,tell me answer for my question first

Aaradhana grunts in pain.

Arjun - What happened?

Aaradhana - Nothing , you were holding my shoulders tightly,its paining

Arjun removes his hand from her shoulder and sees blood in his hands. He then see her blouse is torn and blood is coming from her right shoulder.

Arjun -You dummy, see how you injured your shoulder.

Arjun holds her hand and take her to his room and locks the room.

Aaradhana - Arjun,what are you doing?

Arjun makes her sit in his bed. He gives his sleeveless t-shirt and a tracks asks her to wear.

Aaradhana- Arjun,no I cant wear this.

Arjun - You trust me right?

Aaradhana - Yes.

Arjun - Then change it.

Aaradhana goes to restroom to change the dress.Aaradhana couldnt remove her blouse because of the injury in her right sholder.

Arjun - What happened?

Aaradhana - I couldnt remove my blouse.My right shoulder is paining

Arjun - Unlock the door,I'll help you.

Aaradhana - What?

Arjun -I'll close my eyes.Dont worry

Aaradhana -But.

Arjun - No but. Unlock the door, There might be a glass stuck in your shoulder too.

Aaradhana- Then blindfold your eyes.

Arjun - I am just coming inside to help you. I dont have any interest to see you

Aaradhana unlocks the doors and see his eyes closed.

Arjun tries to go inside the bathroom but his head hitted the door.

Aaradhana laughs

Arjun - Why are you laughing you idiot? Give me your hand and guide me in walking.

Aaradhana gives him hand and he comes near her.

Arjun - Remove your blouse hooks

Aaradhana- I removed it already.

Arjun - Turn your right shoulder towards me

Aaradhana turned as he said.

Arjun touched her shoulder ,she grunted in pain.

Arjun - Sorry Aaradhana,I think I touched the wound. I cant help you by closing eyes. I am going to open.

Aaradhana - Wait.

Arjun(eyes closed) - What now?

Aaradhana - I'll endure it .Try once more

Arjun- Have you gone mad?We cant waste time by this.We have to check whether the wound is deep or not.

Aaradhana -But.

Arjun -Lets do onething.

Aaradhana- What?

Arjun - Wear my t-shirt first. Since its sleevless you'll not feel it difficult in wearing. And as its loose we can remove your blouse within it.

Aaradhana -Ok

Aaradhana wears his t-shirt on the top of her blouse

Aaradhana - You can open your eyes now.

Arjun sees her wearing his t-shirt and tracks.

Arjun moves closer to her and he slowly removed her blouse.

He got to know that the glass piece that stuck on his forehead,striked her shoulder hardly before reaching him and injured her shoulder.

Arjun touched the injury lightly,she grunted in pain

Arjun- Sorry,is it paining?

Aaradhana -A bit.

He then holds her right hand tightly with his and starts treating her wound.

Arjun - Its done.

Aaradhana-No its not

Arjun - What?

Aaradhana- I know you can about us a lot. Care about yourself too

Arjun -What?

Aaradhana takes the first aid kit from him and starts treating his wound.

Arjun -Thanks..

Aaradhana starts to leave the room

Arjun holds her hand and pulls her close to him

Aaradhana - What?

Arjun - shhh.Shaktivel is coming.

Aaradhana- So what?

Arjun - If you want to go infront of him like this, then go..

Aaradhana -What?

(she then checks her cloth and hides)

Aaradhana - What to do now?

Arjun - What to do means?

Aaradhana - How will I go out?

Arjun -wait

(Arjun then goes to his cupboard and brings a churidar)

Arjun - Wear this churidhar

Aaradhana- But how come you have a churidar.Do you like to wear it.

Arjun (in mind)- Dont you still realize, I got it for you,you dummy.I thought of giving it you after confession.

Arjun- I got it for Rupali.

Aaradhana - I see. Wont she get me if she know that you gave me the saree that you got for her.

Arjun - She doesnt know about this. I'll buy her another one.

Aaradhana - Fine.

Aaradhana comes out wearing a light pink anarakli having light thread embrodaries and a satin light pink dupatta. Arjun got mesmerized on seeing her in the anarkali

Aaradhana -This is not churidhar , its anarkali

Aaradhana laughs

Arjun goes close to her .

Arjun - My marriage doesnt affect your feelings right?

Aaradhana - No.It doesnt

Arjun - Are you sure?

Aaradhana (in hesistant voice )- I am sure.

Arjun pins her to the wall.

He moves closer to her and kiss her right cheek.

Arjun - Tell me now are you sure.

Aaradhana - No,it doesnt

Arjun then kiss her forehead.

Arjun -now?

Aaradhana - Arjun stop questioning me like this,I am already engaged and your engagement is in evening,

Arjun - Forgot about my engagement which is about to happen We can change the future .What if your engagement is not happened?

Aaradhana - But it's already done. Wait , why are asking these question again and again. Does my engagement matters you.....No right?

Aaradhana starts leaving his room. He then pulls her again.

When He was about to kiss her lips, He stopped .( he promised her that he'll not force him over her during Uma akka marriage )he gave a deep kiss in her left cheek.

Aaradhana got puzzled for a second.

Aaradhana . Ar.....

Arjun ( interrupting her) - Aaradhana I just kissed you for fun. Your engagement doesnt matter me. But I do feel my marriage affects you a lot. Tell me now, still my marriage doesn't affect your feelings?

Aaradhana- It...

Poorva (shouts) - What happened here?

Arjun and Aaradhana goes down on hearing the sound

(Without seeing them)

Poorva- What happened with the chandler Arjun?

( Poorva sees bandaged Arjun head)

Poorva - Arjun,what happened to you? Is it related to this broken chandler anyway?

Arjun - Amma , calm down the chandler rope got loose and it was about to fall on Aaradhana . I saved her and a glass piece injured my head and her shoulder.Everyting is fine now amma

Poorva-Thank God ,you both are safe.

Aaradhana - How come this chandler fall, I saw the rope was loose and tighted it, how come it got loose.

Arjun - Are you sure , you tightened the rope?

Aaradhana - I am sure.

Arjun - Where did you tie the chandler?

Aaradhana takes him to the window. Aaradhana sees the cutten piece of thread

Aaradhana - Arjun , look some one cutted the rope.

Arjun takes her with him where everyone is and calls the decorators

Arjun - Who cutted this rope?

Poorva-Arjun ,What are you saying?

Arjun - Yes amma,someone cutted this rope to kill me or Aaradhana. And that person knows that all went out to Rupali house except me and Aaradhana.

Arjun (shouts) - Who dares to kill me or my Aaradhana? Step on.If you confess yourself I'll just kill you , but if I find myself ,then I'll kill you and your family will bear the consequences.

Aaradhana gets happy, sad and shocked on hearing this.

Aarandhana goes to her room and calls the priest. Aaradhana informs everything to the priest.

Priest - Dear as I said right,something bad happened right?

Aaradhana - Appa what should i do now, tell me.

Priest - Inform this to the bride. I mean inform this to the girl who loves him truly. shee must fast for him the entire day to lord shiva. She must pray Lord shiva to save Arjun life. Dear, this thing must be considered seriously.

Aaradhana-Ok appa.

Aaradhana checks on Rupali. Before Aaradhana could tell anything to Rupali, Rupali took a banana and started eating it.

Aaradhana thinks "No other way I have to fast".
