Prologue

The rain was falling heavy that night. The sky was dark with storm clouds, lightning streaking across the sky. Falling from high above the clouds is a body, a man. Laughing as he is plummeting to the ground.

"You know this won't kill me!" the man calls to the being floating above the thunder clouds. "You're going to have to try harder than this gorgeous!".

The being that was floating, was a slender but built woman. She was as short as she was beautiful, her hair glowing with the lightning continuously coursing through her body, making her skin look like it is nonstop shimmering. Eyes the color of the sky so bright you can see them in the dark. She is dressed in her orange spandex super-suit, which accentuates her curves, with big red gloves up to her elbows, white knee-high boots, and a long flowing white cape. The giant red K on her chest represents her Hero's name.

"I only brought you here for the view, handsome". she smirks.

The hero points her finger at the man chuckling as he is falling. Suddenly, all the energy and electricity of the surrounding storm rush to meet at her fingertip. Concentrating into a big bright ball of light. With the sound of a thunderclap, the ball left her finger and it hit the man directly in the chest. It propelled him towards the ground faster and with tremendous speed. His body impacted with such explosive energy, it sent tremors in a 50 miles radius. however, later in the local news, it would be described as a minor earthquake.

The crater from the man's fall was little more than half a mile wide. The man stood up, shaking some pebbles from his pitch-black hair, unscathed. The hero floated down to the edge of the crater, hovering ever so slightly off the ground.

Staring in bewilderment the hero said, "You know, I've never met someone who I couldn't stop. Your pretty strong... did that even hurt?".

"Not at all sweetheart, it actually tickled a bit." he said with a smile and a wink. " But I need to know... what's your name?"

"You really don't know my name...?" the hero snickered. "It's Kali."

"No, no, no!!" Shouted the man.

He walked from the center of the crater, and up the slope to where Kali was. He was halfway up the slope when the sun began to rise from behind the hero catching the mysterious villain in its rise. Kali saw every detail of him for the first time. He was tall and powerfully built. His hair cut short and eyes the color embers. His olive skin glowing with the rays of the morning sun. Not a bead of sweat in sight. Whatever tattered pieces of his shirt that were left, were blown away by the car-sized lighting ball that hit his chest. Kali felt a sudden yearning to touch his skin. Just the thought sent shivers of electricity through her body. Now here was a man who might be able to handle her love and not be crushed by the weight of her strength.

"No. Not your hero's name love, I know that... you are the greatest hero to ever be born. The destroyer of evil, the unstoppable goddess of Justice. No, I want your real name, the one your friends and family call you by". He was about thirty feet away from her now where he stopped.

"Now why would I give you that? You are not friend nor family?" Kali answered. Cocking her head to the side. Studying this marvel of a man in front of her.

"Because you're the first hero I've met that I couldn't rip in half with my bare hands. Hell, I can barely get them on you. So, no lack of trying there." said the villain. Noticing he has her interest piqued. "I think... I think I'm in love."

Amused, Kali was pondering his words. She bit her lower lip and smiled. "Hmm... Ok, I'll tell you what, if you can either escape from me or land a solid hit…. I'll tell you."

The villain let out a chuckle, and with a devilish smile that took the Hero's breath away "Deal," he said.

At that moment, before the word that left his lips reached Kali's ears, he was gone. Most people say this man can teleport and she would have believed it too. For a millisecond Kali lost him. Did he just escape? she thought to herself.

Kali caught something moving out of the corner of her right eye. The villain was moving faster than the speed of sound and if he had been moving any faster, she might have missed him.

He was laughing as he moved, she really challenged me to escape!! She even challenged me to hit her! Which he was not going to do, in another two milliseconds, he would be vastly far away from Kali. He would win the bet and the next time they meet he will get her name. The villain was immensely confident in his speed, no one had ever been able to keep up with him. He was a new villain in the world. Making his debut about just a year ago and happened to already be called the deadliest villain alive. Any hero that had got in his way so far had been murdered in a vicious manner, but the little warrior was born with the power and strength of a goddess, earning her the hero's name Kali the goddess of destruction.

He remembers once when he was younger that he saw Kali on the news. There was an asteroid headed towards the planet. With news cam-bots following her, she flew up to meet it. The cam-bots could not even keep up. Kali headed straight towards the asteroid and with one massive punch blew the whole thing away. He was not too sure about going blows to blows with her. He was only sixteen at the time of seeing that, and he was certain that she was two years younger than him. Not saying he could not do it if he had to, but he would have difficulty. Snaping back to reality, he realized he lost focus.

Suddenly there she was, at first, she was beside him, then in front of him blocking his way. Instinct took over, and the villain stopped, twisted, and then burst off in the opposite direction at twice the speed. The energy from the sudden shift was like a bomb going off. Sending debris from the forest everywhere.

He could not believe it. she had caught up to him like it was effortless like she was not trying. Ok, I guess I will just kick up the speed he thought picking up the pace. He had never pushed himself to his max speed, never really needed to till now. Now was probably a good time to test his limits with the greatest Hero on his ass. Now moving around Mach 7 and nearing a town, he was sure she would not be able to catch up. Then suddenly there she was again with a smile and grace without breaking a sweat. The villain pivoted on his right foot and moved away from Kali. He still was not at his full speed just yet, so he pushed harder than he ever has.

She caught up to him with no problem and then cut off his path. The villain did not change directions this time, instead, he kept moving towards her. Using his momentum to throw a massive punch. It hit and the power created a shock wave that cleared the forest away. His eyes widen to about the size of saucers. He thought it would land, there is no way she could block in time, but she did not just block the punch she caught it. The villain was astonished. Now here was someone he could really let go and have some fun.

For a second, they just stared at each other, breathing hard. Then a smile broke on both of their faces and began a battle that was devastating to the surrounding landscape. Mountains were destroyed and cities burned to the ground. The destruction is rumored to still being cleared out and cities being rebuilt. They fought for three days without stopping. Kali could never fully pin him down and the villain could never fully hurt her no matter how hard he tried, but the craziest thing about the fight was that they were having fun. They finally met someone who could go toe to toe and they were damn hot too!

In the end, the villain met the limit of his stamina. Exhausted, bloody, broken, and bruised Kali finally pinned him down. Straddling him on the ground, she had won. She had defeated the most-wanted villain.

"I guess you win, "said the villain with an exhausted look on his face sadness flashing in his ember eyes, "too bad to I was really looking forward to knowing your name."

"Why are you so interested in my real name for" asked kali. She cocked her head to the side her eyebrows furrowing together.

"I wasn't kidding when I said I might be in love with you and now I know for sure. I am definitely in love," said the villain. His eyes sparkling with each word.

"Love me? but you're the evilest thing to walk the planet, how could you love anyone?" said Kali. She is not sure why, but she feels as if he is telling the truth. And for some reason, she feels the same.

"I'll give it all up for you, "he said quickly.

"You don't even know me," she said not understanding.

" But I want to," he said with a small smile.

Kali stared at him. She could not tell if her mind was playing tricks. Is he really telling the truth? She was always good at telling when people are lying, but now she could not tell. She floated off him never really touching the ground as always." It's Jean….my real name is Jean Snow," she said, "So what's yours then?"

"Godrik the God killer," he said, "but I'll probably have to change that now." Godrik sat up and put his hand out as if to be arrested." I'm all yours love, but you do know there will never be a prison that can hold me".

"Well, then I guess you'll just have to stay with me," said Jean with a smile.

Putting on the cuffs, she tried to do it quickly, but his hand catches hers. he looks deep into her eyes, both lost in the moment for a second. Hearts pounding in rhythm with each other. He lets go of her hand and smiles a smile that can melt the North and South pole.

"We'll Hero, let's go live life together," he says as she is finishing locking the cuffs.

"Yes. And maybe have babies" she said with a devilish grin eyebrows wiggling.

Eyes widen, He smiles the same devilish smile. He is all hers and he welcomes it.
