Chapter Fifty

Five days before the wedding

Kayla went to her friend's room as usual in the morning.

'My lady,her majesty is here' Kayla said as she mimicked the respectful tone she usually use when they were not alone.

Euphorial immediately stood up on her feet taking away the blanket on her body.

"Good morning mother" she greeted as she looked towards the chair in the room but she found no one there and she scowled at her friend who was trying her best to hold in her laughter.

Hahaaaaaahaaaahaaaaaa--------

Kayla bursted into laughter when she couldn't hold it in again.

'I guess scaring you with your mother in-law name is more effective than using his highness name' Kayla joked and Euphorial threw the comb on the bed side at her in anger while she just dodged it which angered her more.

"I should ask Ephraim to punish someone when he gets back" she said silently.

'What! You want to have me,your friend punished.You are a bad friend' Kayla said while acting like an angry bird.

"I'm just joking.You are my only friend,i can't let anything bad happen to you" Euphorial said as she went to hug her.

'Hope you are prepared,your wedding is five days to this time' Kayla reminded her while she nodded in confirmation.

"Do you think Ephraim can fall in love with me?" She suddenly asked.

'Why not? Is it because of what you heard yesterday?' Kayla asked as she drag her towards the prepared bathroom.

"Yes,he had went through a lot and i think his past is still affecting him.Do you think he will be able to move on from the pasts?" She asked another.

'I think he will and that is if he open up to you.When he discuss his fears with you,he will be able to overcome them and fall in love with you then you will shower him with all your affections' Kayla advised as she wash her blonde hair.

"I will try to be open to him so that he can open up to me" she replied back.

'You know he will be back soon,you should prepare yourself for him.Don't shy away again,try to seduce him and if you don't know how,read one of your secret books (the one for adults)' Kayla winked at her and she blushed profusely.She didn't only see them but she also went through her secret romance books that was written by the popular vampire author.It was through those books that she knew a lot about vampires.

Kayla rinsed her hair and her soapy body before cleaning her wet body.After all these,she dressed her up and they went downstairs to have breakfast.

In the magical realm,

"You,stop there! Where do you think you are going?" Roith called out Alice who had just tried to sneak back into the palace.

"What? Do i have to report to you too? You are not my teacher" Alice stated.

"What is going on here?" Queen Gloria asked when she got to the receiving room of her palace to find her son glaring at her student.

"Good afternoon my queen,may the mother of nature always be with you" Alice greeted her ignoring the prince snorts.

"Where are you coming from? I thought i saw you in the palace yesterday's evening?" Queen Gloria asked in surprise.

"Actually mother,she was not the one you saw yesterday it was her magic replica.She was not around at all for like five days ago" Roith replied his mother.

"My queen i quickly went to check up on my friends in the palace outskirts that's all" Alice partially lied to the queen without knowing that the prince was well aware of what she was doing.

She went to see her friends? Is Ephraim her friend? Or is the black market where she was supposed to practice her spells.He smirked internally before calling out her lies.

"So the black market has turned to a place where the next witch queen can be found? Or has Ephraim turned to one of your friends?" Roith asked sarcastically while Alice grinded her teeth when the crazy prince called out her lies.

"What did i just heard? Or is my ears picking rubbish things? The black market? Moreso,Ephraim?" The queen asked as she looked at her student threatenly.

"I swear on fate,i didn't meant to leave.It's just that i have been hearing about the dangerous first prince and i become curious about him,so when i heard that he is coning to the black market i quickly went to visit him to satisfy my curiousity" Alice summarised.

"Have you forgotten the part where you offered yourself to him like a cheap product,the future witch queen? Even after knowing that he will be getting married five days to today!!!" Roith shouted back in anger when he remembered what he saw from the magic crystal in his room.

"What!!! You did what? Answer me now?!" Queen Gloria voice vibrated through the room and it thundered because the witch queen is angry.

Alice immediately fell on her knees as she started asking for forgiveness.

'Forgive me my queen,i promise i won't do that again.I won't let my emotions control me ever again,please have mercy on me' Alice pleaded as she held onto the queen leg while she was shaking on her feet.

[I will be taking my leave now mother] Roith communicated with his mother before he disappeared from the place appearing back at Ephraim's mansion,leaving his mother with her student.
