Chapter 43 Spoiled Brat

"Master Dimas" he yelled "I was told you had brought outsiders into the academy"

"Young man would you tone down your voice. Have some respect for the elders" Dimas spoke sternly to the hotheaded young man, meanwhile Iris Levi and Kara kept quiet and observed.

"Forgive me my elders" the young man said as he clasped his fists and bowed.

"You are forgiven" one of the elders responded.

"Thank you master Davidson. I heard master Dimas brought outsiders into the academy halls, so I came to find out if it was true. " The young man said calmly, but there was a tinge of unpleasantness in his tone.

"And you felt you had the authority to question me" Dimas said nonchalantly, "anyways it is of no concern to you Solomon I assure you. Elders, let's take this discussion to tea." The elders nodded and followed after him. They walked out of the room leaving Solomon standing there with an expression of anger. They arrived at and open training ground, far bigger and wider than the others they saw before. There were over a hundred students training, with several instructors teaching them. They saw those blessed by the gods, who could control the elements of water and fire. Iris' interest in the academy grew as he watched incredible display of abilities unfold around him. The three elders walked in front of Dimas while the trio and Solomon followed behind. As they walked through, many students bowed to the elders and greeted them, they walked up a staircase and sat on a bench. Dimas beckoned on a servant in the corner to bring them tea, while the trio and Solomon stood behind the elders and Dimas.

"Now," elder Francis spoke "Dimas we need an explanation, what is going on?" Dimas proceeded to tell them everything Iris told them.

"Young man" elder Francis called, "we are in a bit of a pickle trying to understand what you are telling us"

"That is all I am willing to tell you at the moment," Iris replied, and elder Francis released a frustrated sigh.

"Look boy, this is no joke." Elder Francis said to Iris but he refused to comply. "What no name continent are you from them?"

"The seven kingdoms" Iris replied,

"Be more specific,"

"The one currently at war with each other, the one that recently gained the approval of the gods."

The elders' eyes widened, "are you sure about this?" Dimas asked Iris, which caused him to lift a brow. Dimas turned to the elders, "we must send word to Karalis."

"What is going on Kara asked Levi, and Levi turned to Iris. Iris turned to Dimas," what is going on?"

"For now we don't know for sure" Dimas replied. "For now we need you to stay close, we need to keep in touch with you. Elders?" Dimas turned to them for confirmation and they nodded in response.

"And what about my enrollment? Iris asked,

"Aaah, about that. You don't need to take any tests, you will get your uniform soon."

"What are you doing Dimas, surely he should take the test to prove his strength before we take him in?" Elder Francis interjected,

"Or at least a spar with one of the students" another elder spoke,

"I assure you elder, he is way past beginner level. Earlier I sensed his chakra when we err.. clashed and it was advanced."

"WAIT THAT IS AGAINST THE RULES" Solomon yelled.

"WOULD YOU BE QUIET BOY!!!" Levi shouted at him, "were you raised by dogs? He asked, "back in Dawnville, in the army, when your seniors spoke, you asked for permission before running your mouth like a fool."

All the elders chuckled at the scene. "Forgive Solomon, he has made it a habit to speak out of turn." Dimas said with a small smile. Iris stood up and stretched, " let's have a spar. I haven't had a good stretch in weeks."

"Are you sure, he is a very skilled water user, if you want we could arrange someone on your level ?" Dimas asked,

"Yes. Let him fight me," Iris said pointing towards Solomon.

"Good good, Dimas get everyone ready," elder Francis agreed. Dimas stood up and walked to the edge of the platform they were on.

"Students of Georgalis Elemental Academy." He called everyone at the top of his voice and they heard him clearly as if he blew a horn. " We are going to have a spar, Solomon Georgalis against a new student of ours, Iris Wit.

The students were surprised by this turn of events. It wasn't a surprise that a new student would spar, but it was surprising that they would challenge one of their best students in the second year, but the most surprising of all was the name Wit. If what they heard was the truth then a member of the Wit family has come here to train, what would a member of the Wit family, the second most powerful family in Avdira be doing in Jordan.

"The fight will take place here tomorrow at dawn." He walked back and sat down.

"Why not now?" Iris asked,

" Well no big reason, I just want to give you guys more time rest and prepare. That's all, in the mean time this mystery about the Wit family has to be resolved. I will send a message to the Karalis and inform them of this development.

They were escorted out of the academy, and they went home to prepare for their next visit. They chatted with each other discussing wether they should go and find a place for both Levi and Kara to train. In the end that decided to take a break. They just got here, I mean the seven kingdoms could be burning to the ground but they need a break, people could be dieing in a war against the tyrant but hey, they need a rest, a break from everything. They rested.

Morning came and they returned to the Georgalis Elemental Academy. They were greeted by Desmond. He led into the academy, they met with Dimas and he led them back to the training grounds for the battle.
