Lich became an Esquire after earning the Bow and Arrow path after a long time of running a kilometer without making noise.
Gumi patter Lich on the back. "Good job. Even though you took a few hours, it is still better than some people I have taught. Now time for your Trial to become a Knight."
She quickly added "The Tier Knight not the Dao or Path of Knight. Normally I like to give people something to use to defend themselves. But seeing you basically have yourself completely covered up, I decided on something better."
She quickly pulled out her rifle and shot Lich in the leg. Before he could yell, she cleared her throat and said, "You must be kneeling for the Knight ceremony."
Then she pulled out a book and a knife and started speaking with a weird tone.
