Putting on a show.

" Mmm. Babe, stop moving so much."

Mark complained as Eve shifted around in the bed.

" I can't help it. I need to potty."

Eve said to the man as she got up and out of bed.

Mark groaned and sat up as well and watched as Eve hurried into the bathroom, the sound of water hitting water followed quickly after.

" We need you kid."

Cecil suddenly radioed to Mark.

" For what? I'm busy, call the others."

Mark said to the man.

" There are no others. Everyone else was taken prisoner."

Cecil snapped at mark.

" What do you mean, everyone was captured. You mean to tell me every single other hero on earth was captured. Are you serious?"

Mark asked in disbelief.

" Mark? Is something wrong, sweety?"

Eve asked as she walked out of the bathroom.

" Yeah, apparently every single hero on earth got captured. Cecil, just called and asked for help."

Mark explained to the woman as he got out of the bed.

" Oh, wow. How did that happen?"

Eve asked in disappointment.

" That's what I asked. Apparently, they were all attacked all at once. Doc seismic, I think. But I thought he was cooked in lava. Oh well, you wanna come along?"

Mark asked the woman bluntly.

" Sure, why not. It's been a while since I've been in the field. Let's go. Give me a sec to get dressed."

Eve said to Mark. She opened up her closet and pulled her costume out and quickly changed into it.

" All right, I'm ready."

Eve said to the man as she finished dressing.

" All right, let's go save the heroes."

Mark said triumphantly.

Eve nodded and the two flew out of their African house and travelled straight to where Cecil had directed them. When they touched down they were in the middle of a snowy mountain.

" I think you got the wrong location there, Cecil."

Mark said to the man as he looked around to see nothing.

" No that's it. Sorry the trackers the capes employees are given are a bit out of date. Robot just contacted me; they only got his robot body-- He's safe. He's got more precise tracking abilities. They're three miles down."

Cecil explained to Mark.

" Oh, cool. Eve, you think you can make something to help?"

Mark turned and asked the woman.

" Oh baby, you know I do."

Eve said snarkily. She raised her hands and created a giant drill and began digging into the ground

" Ahaaa! Babe you rock. Now, let's go kick some ass."

Mark cheered as he and Eve began going under.

It took the woman a few minutes to finally break through to the underground cavern.

' Oh, man how did Mark ever get anything done with these guys messing up?'

Mark asked himself.

" We're almost there, Mark. Are you ready?"

Eve asked, drawing Mark from his thoughts.

" Yeah. Listen I got a plan. When we get inside I want you to focus on freeing the others heroes. I'll hold the enemies at bay, and then we can take all of them out at once."

Mark explained to Eve his plan for attack.

" All right, sounds like a good idea. You be careful, okay."

Eve said to the man.

" Of course."

Mark replied.

Mark prepared himself and seconds later Eve and Mark broke into doc seismic lair.

" Hey, asshole! Remember me?"

Mark taunted the man as he landed in the room full of creatures.

" Invincible! I looked for you! I wanted you here most of all!"

Seismic yelled in anger.

" Well? Here I am. Looks like this parties getting crazy. Let's rock."

Mark taunted the man

" With pleasure."

Doc seismic said with an evil grin on his face. Seismic moved and two giant monster centipedes came crashing into the room.

Mark smiled and flew straight through both of the creature's brains in seconds. Effectively killing them with ease. Mark looked back and smirked at the speechless man.

" Come on, doc. Is that the best you can do? Man, this is just pathetic."

Mark said to the man.

Doc's face went beat red in anger over Mark's taunting.

" You're still surrounded by all of my elite."

Doc seismic was explaining. However, as he was Mark quickly killed the molten creatures with ease, speeding around the cavern in seconds and ending the threat by himself.

" Dead guards. I surrender."

Seismic said as he held his hands up in defeat.

" Yeah. Not that easy."

Mark said to the man as he punched him in the gut, knocking the wind from his body and leaving him unconscious.

" Looks like you didn't need our help after all."

The immortal said to Mark as he and the rest of the heroes were finally freed from their restraints.

" How the hell did you all get caught at the same time?"

Mark asked the man.

" We were all caught off guard."

Duncan stated as he and Gen Rex cleaned themselves off.

Mark laughed at the heroes causing them all to groan in annoyance. Mark's laughing continued getting louder and louder until a hole was blown in the roof of the cavern and in came the murderous darkwing 2 and the reanimen.

Mark looked up at the group half in confusion and half rage. As he knew he had dealt with Darkwing and had dropped a boulder on his teacher's house killing the man making the reanimen.

" Cecil.:"

Mark growled.

" Is everything all right?! Cecil sent us in."

Darkwing 2 exclaimed.

Mark walked up to the man and planted his fist into Darkwing's chest drilling him into the ground.

" Invincible! what are you doing?"

Savage Dragon asked the man.

" I thought I dealt with you already? Why didn't Cecil lock you up?"

Mark asked the unconscious man.

" Invincible! Stand down now!"

Cecil ordered.

" Or what? Now you're going to tell me why he's not in jail."

Mark replied.

" We'll talk about it later."

Cecil stated.

" Oh, you motherfucker."

Mark cursed as he grabbed Cecil by his collar. He lifted Cecil up into the air and glared at him.

Eve walked up behind Mark and placed her hand on his shoulder.

" Mark, put him down."

Eve said softly.

Mark turned around to see the heroes staring at him. Observing him carefully. Mark sighed and let cecil go and immediately flew away with a smile on his face.

' That worked out better than I thought. Did you really think I wouldn't know about your coming betrayal? Now, I've got heat on myself and you as well Cecil.'

Mark thought to himself.

' People are watching. Just wait and see how I steal your guardians, Cecil.'

Mark said to himself as he flew away.
