Chapter 42: Misunderstanding

Su Luo drove to the Lin Mansion, and upon seeing the brilliantly lit, grandiose Lin Mansion, he couldn't help but sigh inwardly. The wealthy and powerful really lived lives worlds apart from the ordinary people.

"Excuse me, are you Mr. Su?"

As Su Luo parked his car in the courtyard of the Lin Mansion, the butler was already there waiting for him.

"I am Su Luo," Su Luo said.

"Mr. Su, please follow me," the butler led Su Luo into the grand hall of the Lin Mansion.

"Little Friend Su, you've finally arrived," Lin Songbai had been waiting in the hall, and he immediately smiled upon seeing Su Luo.

"Old Lin, I apologize for disturbing you so late," Su Luo greeted Lin Songbai with a cupped-fist salute.

Lin Songbai chuckled, "This shows you don't see me as an outsider; I couldn't be happier."

Lin Songbai beckoned Su Luo to sit down.

However, Su Luo asked, "Old Lin, I might need to excuse myself for a moment. Could you tell me where the restroom is?"
