in that one night, luke didnt know if he should say that it was a lucky encounter or a unlucky encounter. luke managed to upped is level up to level 10, reaching the 'juvinile' stage. the size of lukes juvinile hawk was like that of a regular hawk. which means the size of an adult hawk. he was also hock when he saw that although he's still at the juvinile stage, he's already the size of a regular adult hawk! what if he reached his hawk's 'adult' stage?

luke couldn't help but chuckle excitedly to himself.

'will my adult hawk form the size of a human then?'

unlike the way his druid form works before in his prevoius life, the current system of his druid powers is completely broken. in the cultivation world, his druid stages works the same as how the animals grow there. which means if his druid form " tiger" is at the juvinile stage, its size and abilities are the same with a wild juvinile tiger there.

now , since luke was the size of a regular adult hawk, he might be able to prey on larger animals like that 3 meter long python, some bunnies etc. with a flap of his large wings, luke took off and flew towards the vast skies. since luke is much larger now, he is now able to handle the wind in the skies.

luke flew steadily while looking for any food that might enter its vision and not to luke's dissappointment, a pig the size of a soccer ball, was mindlessly wandering around the waterfalls. and not far from this location, luke found a group of pigs, 1 larger than the others which is probably their mama. luke was overjoyed since chances like this is hard to come by.

like quitely flew around the trees so the pig will not be alerted by his arrival. luke perched on a large tree branch right above the small pig and quitely observed the surroundings, just in case some animals might intterupt his hunt. after making sure that there will be no disturbance to his plan, luke leaped from the branch and dove straight towards the pig.

the pig noticed the strange rustlings of the leaves right above it so it was shocked when it turns its head upwards, only to find a hawk aiming its talons towads it. the pig let out a loud shriek, alerting its mother and siblings about the danger that was approaching it. the mother pig and its offsprings noticed the shriek and was immediately enraged!

' you dare prey on my son?! prepare to die!'

the huge pig let out a snort and charged straight to the pigglets location, and luke, who was diving straight towards the lone pig, noticed the approaching angry mama pig, flapped his wings and changed direction. mama pig arrived at the small pigs location and let out a triumph snort when it saw the hawk flew away however, shock can be seen on its eyes when it saw that the hawk it just shoo away was now heading towards the defenseless group of little pigs, shivering in fright when they saw the huge hawk flying towards them. one of them let out a cry and runs towards the bushes and like a domino, all of its siblings follow suit and runs towards every directions seperately.

luke looks around and was deciding on which direction will he go, and not long after, he decided to come after the little pigs who runs towards the east.

lukle flapped his wings and flew toward the east. and not long after , loud shrieks was heard at the east direction.

after a week or so, luke finally reached the 'adult' form of his druid skill : hawk form. when he spread his wings, his wingspan will now reach to a wooping 12 ft and 2 inch while under his estimations, his weight might have reached the 8.2 kg.

even though such achievements was worth celebrating, luke was actually worried. ever since he arrived at this forest, he only managed to hunt animals ranging from rodents to pigs. its strange that he was in the middle of the forest, probably but he didnt came across large mammals like hippos, bears, or even crocs which is very strange! there is a huge lake just 300 miles away from his current location but when he flew there to drink, he cant even see the shadow of those humongous crocs! maybe they were submerged that day? what about another day? still none? try again another day! but this continued until it reached a week, which when he came into conclussion that maybe there is no crocs here in the first place or there is someone or something that might be 'hunting' them.

well, the case for crocs are now close but what about the bears? bears are very common specially in locations like this where there is abundance of foods and shelters but like the crocs there is also no shadows of bears that can be seen!

" what the hell is happening to these forest?"

luke asked himself . he was really confused at that time but just like what he's elders have taught him, " dont think hardly about matters that you dont have any control in, live a carefree life if possible"

luke shook his head and was prepared to take off when he heard a loud sound which is very familiar to him.

not long after a while of thinking, lukes face paled and exclaimed,

" gunshots!"

luke immediately took off and flew towards the location of the gunshot.

" boss, we already hunted almost every animals around here! what if those freaking rangers might notice us? wont it bring us huge troubles?

a man, holding a hunting rifle on his hands, complained towards another right behind him, who was wearing a cowboy hat.

" heh! what is there to be afraid of? cant you see? we almost created another extinction but where is those rangers now? they are at their houses! enlarging their bellies with beers!"

the man wearing the cowboy hat talked and aimed the hunting rifle in his hands towards a newborn fawn. with a cold smile, the man wearing a cowboy hat pulled the trigger, blasting the head of the poor fawn.

" see that! i just killed the beloved fawn of that rangers! where are they now? hah- huh?"

the man was laughing heartily when he noticed that his subordinate, who always laughs together with him was not laughing at all.

" hey! what the matter?"

when the man turns back, he saw his companion looking towards the sky with a baffled expression. shock and terror can be seen on the mans face.

" hey lucas! whats the matter?"

the man in cowboy hat shook the mans shoulder but the man wont just wake up from his shock. the man incowboy hat, robert, was struck with a strong sense of curiosity and looked up aswell which is something he will regret for the rest of his life. he coudn't believe what he just saw, a huge hawk, very hjuge hawk was staring at them coldy from the skies. the duo can clearly see the killing intent in its eyes.

in his fright, the rifle in roberts hand slipped due to the sweat oozing out of roberts hand and created a banging sound when it hit the ground. lucas, who was the man who first saw the huge hawk, was awaken from his stupor and immediately made a run towards the dense trees right behind them. robert was about to call his subordinate who abandoned him when he saw the huge hawk made a dive and went straight towards the already running lucas. the huge hawks speed was unbelievable since in a blink of an eye, it already arrived before the running lucas with its claws spread widely, ready to tear the mans back.

and just to roberts prediction, the huge hawk really caught up and tore the mans back, killing him instantly. robert was shocked but he immediately runs in the opposite direction of the hawk. the hawk heard his footsteps and flew towards the sky, flying towads the direction robert just took.
