Moving forward!

" That was something. Damn Anissa, you made me bleed." Clark said to the woman after finally finishing their night of sex. Clark held onto Anissa, his hand moving up and down her sweaty back.

" You are a beast. I've never mated with anyone that long before. My legs are numb." Anissa replied as she lay on top of the man. " But it is time for me to report to the Grand Regent. If you have no place to go you may stay here, but cleanup a bit will ya." Anissa said as she shakenly got off the collapsed bed. " Ugh!" Anissa grunted as she went to stand, her legs suddenly gave out under her.

" Anissa are you alright?" Clark asked as he caught the woman.

Anissa looked back at him and smiled a devil grin.

" It feels like your still inside me." Anissa replied making clark blush.

" Oh." Clark replied as he helped anissa to her feet. " How long are you going to be gone?" Clark asked.

" I should be gone until tonight. We can resume Mating when I return." Anissa replied as she pulled on her viltrumite uniform. Clark walked up behind the woman and place his hands firmly on her hips, pulling her towards him.

" We will mate when I return." Anissa said to the man.

" Hey, do you know where the others are?" Clark asked

" Depends on who you're talking about." Anissa replied

" Kregg, Lucan, and Thula." Clark answered

" I know Kregg owns a bike shop in Paris and Thula is somewhere in the city, but Lucan I don't know. Does that suffice for an answer?" Anissa asked

" Yes, thank you. Have a safe trip Anissa, I'll see you when you return." Clark said as he walked Anissa out of the house. He watched her fly up into the air and disappear beyond the atmosphere.

' Hm, seems Thragg is based somewhere in space.' Clark thought as he watched the woman leave. " Now then what to do about all of this?" Clark asked himself as he looked around the destroyed house.

Clark began cleaning up running around the house fixing any and everything that they broke during the night.

" Okay done. Wow that was a lot. I didn't think we broke so much." Clark said to himself as he finally finished fixing the house. " Now, then let's see if we can't find Kregg." Clark said as he got dressed. He put his shirt on and ran out the house flying towards Paris.

" Bike shop in Paris, boy does that narrow things down." Clark said sarcastically as he flew over Paris looking down for any sign of the man, after a few minutes of searching clark eventually found Kregg's bike shop. Once clark knew no one was around to see him he landed in front of Kregg's shop and knocked on the garage.

" We're open com in!" Kregg yelled from inside the shop.

Clark lifted the garage door up and walked inside.

" What can I do for ya?" Kregg asked as he worked on his bike.

" Well, I thought I'd come see how you were blending in Kregg." Clark answered

Upon hearing the man's voice Kregg jumped up from his bike and turned towards the man in a panic. He rushed towards clark and tried to punch him. Clark caught Kregg's fist and smiled at the man.

" Calm down Kregg I'm not here to fight you. I came to see how you were adjusting." Clark said as he released Kregg's fist. Kregg looked at the man in shock and confusion for a few seconds before finally calming down.

" I am fine. But I want to know, how did you know we were here?" Kregg asked

" Well, I figured you guys had to want revenge for what happened to your planet. Kregg though we might be enemies know that I was not a part of that, I didn't know Thaddeus was going to do that." Clark apologized to the man.

" It doesn't matter anymore; Earth is our home now." Kregg responded.

" I know Anissa told me." Clark responded back to the man.

" You've seen Anissa? Did she tell you why we are here?" Kregg asked

" No, not really. But I think I know already. Listen man, how about taking a day off. Come on let's go get a drink." Clark said to the man.

" Are you going to take no for an answer?" Kregg asked

" No, not really." Clark replied with a smile.

Kregg took a deep breath and sighed as he realized there was no point in arguing.

" Give me a second to lock the place up." Kregg said as he turned his back to the man. Kregg put his tools away and locked up the Garage before joining Clark outside.

" Okay let's go." Kregg said as he started walking.

The two men made their way to a nearby pub and started drinking.

" I don't know if I said it earlier, but it's good to see you Kregg." Clark said as he drunk from his cup. Clark looked at the man waiting for a response and could see the turmoil on his face.

" It's good to see you as well Clark. Though we maybe enemies I respect your strength. I've never seen anyone tear through Viltrumites the way you did. I've also never seen Thragg on the losing end of a fight." Kregg said to the man giving him respect for his actions.

" I didn't come here to talk about our battles Kregg. I want to know how you're fitting in." Clark asked

" All is going well so far. The humans they are different, unique. I feel something about them that I can't explain. And my mates they make me feel a certain way. Something I've never felt before. What does it mean?" Kregg said to the man as he explained his feelings towards earth and it's people.

" Ah, I see. Kregg that thing you're feeling right now is the same thing Nolan felt when he betrayed Viltrum. It's love. Love for someone other than yourself." Clark responded.

" I shouldn't be feeling these things. I am a proud viltrumite a warrior." Kregg said to the man slightly perturbed by his words.

" Kregg there is no shame in feeling love for someone else. It's proof you have a heart, Kregg." Clark answered trying to calm the man's feelings. " You'll be fine kregg, just do what your heart tells you."

" I see. Is that how you got to be so strong?" Kregg asked

" In a way yes. It's my drive to protect those close to me that helps me make the decisions I make. Without them, these people I would be nothing. I have all this power and yet the people I respect the most are those who are just that. Ordinary people." Clark answered with conviction.

Kregg hearing the man's answer looked down to his drink and began thinking about his mates and what he would do to keep them safe.

" I see." Kregg responded.

" Kregg here take this." Clark said as he handed Kregg his phone number. " That's my number if you ever need to talk or maybe just need a drink, I'll be here for you. On the battlefield we're enemies. But here we are friends okay."

" Thank you, Clark. I appreciate this my friend. We've been speaking about me but how are things between you and Anissa?" Kregg asked.

" I don't know Kregg. Anissa is stubborn, hardheaded, and coldblooded. In a way that's what made me fall for her. That strength, that drive to never give up and be the best. I care for her. I'm still testing those waters. Anything you can tell me about Viltrumite women?" Clark asked

" Well, for one they respect strength and you've proven you're without a doubt one of the strongest beings this side of the galaxy. You should be fine as long as you don't lose." Kregg responded.

" Well anyway I think it's time to get going. I still need to pay a visit to Thula and Lucan. You wouldn't happen to know where I can find them would you?" Clark asked as he got to his feet.

" I believe Thula and Lucan are both in New York. Other than that, I don't really know. Why?" Kregg asked in confusion.

" Well, I want to see how Thula is doing, and I owe Lucan an apology for punching a hole through him." Clark said to the man as he paid the bill.

" We have live coverage of a massive dinosaur attacking Las Vegas." The news anchor on the pubs tv screen said as they recorded a large red Dinosaur attacking Vegas.

" Shit! Sorry Kregg looks like you'll have to walk back alone, I'm needed elsewhere. Take care my friend." Clark said as he held his hand out. Kregg quickly grabbed his hand and shook it.

" You as well Clark." Kregg responded

Clark nodded his head and quickly ran down the street, once he was out of sight, he ripped his clothes off and revealed his suit underneath. He then took off towards Vegas in an attempt to stop the monster. Clark rushed towards Vegas, but just as he arrived the city went up in flames. A massive explosion destroyed the city leaving behind a floor of glass. The world looked on in shock as Vegas and countless amounts of people were gone.

" No." Clark whispered as he looked at the glass floor.

Clark slowly floated down to the ground and placed a hand on mark's shoulder.

Clark soon departed from the scene as Cecil and global defense agency arrived.

Clark flew into space and began looking for Thragg.

' If he was responsible for what happened in Vegas, I will tear him to pieces.' Clark thought as raced towards The Viltrumites headquarters on the moon.

" Halt Intruder!" Two viltrumites yelled as the flew up to intercept Clark.

Clark raced towards the two viltrumites and grabbed them both by the throat choking the life from them as he flew towards Thraggs throne room.

" Return to earth for now Anissa and remember your mission." Thragg said to the agitated woman.

" Yes, Grand Regent." Anissa said with a bow before turning to leave.

The two Viltrumites stumbled as they felt the entire ship, they were on shaking. Suddenly an unknown threat burst into the throne room shaking the ship.

" Who dares attack me?!" Thragg yelled

Smoke filled the room and suddenly a pair of red eyes could be seen in the smoke. When it cleared Thragg and Anissa could see Superman standing in the throne room. His eyes were seething red, his face displayed nothing but anger as he held onto the two unconscious Viltrumites. Clark dropped the two men and moved towards Thragg, grabbing the man and slamming him into the walls of his throne room.

" A city was just turned into a glass floor. Thousands of people were killed. Did you have anything to do with it?" Clark asked getting straight to the point of his attack.

" We were not responsible for any damage that might have been done on Earth. I've already made a pact with Nolan and his son. Now, let me go." Thragg ordered.

Clark sensing no trace of deception in the man's voice let him go.

" I sense you speak the truth. I am sorry for attacking you then. I'm going back now, but remember something Thragg, I got in here with no problems. If I need to come back, I will Thragg." Clark said to the man before leaving.

Clark left the man behind and went straight back to Anissa's house and sat there. Eventually nightfall came and Anissa returned as well.

" Welcome back." Clark said as Anissa walked into the house. The woman nodded and continued walking towards her room.

" How was your meeting?" Clark asked as he walked into the room with Anissa.

" Grand Regent Thragg had me inform him of my success in blending in amongst the humans and my progress on breeding with the humans. I told him I was doing fine in the first objective, but that I hadn't found a human mate yet." Anissa explained as she stripped naked. " He then admonished me for it."

" Does he not know about me?" Clark asked in confusion.

" No, why would he? He asked for human hybrids not whatever you are." Anissa replied. " He really pissed me off this time. But I must say what you did was quite entertaining. Such a display of power. I think deserves a reward." Anissa said to the man as she rubbed her body against him.

" I'm usually not one to turn you down Anissa. But not tonight. I'm still bothered by what happened down in Vegas." Clark said as he grabbed the woman's arms gently pushing her off of him.

" I need to produce offspring. I at least want to do it with you. If you won't mate with me then I'll find someone else." anissa declared

Clark glared at the woman for a minute before finally relenting. He leaned down and kissed her.

" You really know how to push my buttons. You know I'm not going to let another man lay his hands on you." Clark said to the woman before pulling back. " Anissa let me ask you something."

" What?" anissa asked in annoyance.

" What would happen if Thragg was killed?" Clark asked

" Are you planning to attack us?!" Anissa aske din anger.

" No, no. I just want to know what would happen to the empire if Thragg were to suddenly die." Clark asked

." We would fight until the strongest amongst us was left standing. He or she would then become the leader of our people." Anissa answered honestly.

" I see. Well, you've done as I asked. I think it's only fair I return the gesture." Clark said as he kissed the woman again, this time picking her up into his arms.

" You better." Anissa stated as Clark carried her to bed. Repeating the night before.

The next Morning Clark left before Anissa could awaken, leaving behind a note and Breakfast for the woman to enjoy. He took off towards New York to find Lucan and Thula, intent on giving them the same offer he gave Kregg and Anissa. After a short while he found Lucan returning to his apartment. He waited until he was certain the man was alone and entered through one of his windows.

Clark waited in the living room until Lucan returned to. When Lucan came back from his room, he jumped in surprise to see Clark sitting in his room.

" Who are you? How did you get in here?" Lucan yelled as he saw Clark sitting on his couch.

" Lucan it's been a long time since we last met. How's the hole I punched through you doing?" Clark asked as he removed his glasses. Lucan's eyes went wide as he realized who was sitting in front of him. Lucan assumed a battle stance ready for the man to attack.

" What do you want? Why come after me?" Lucan asked

" If I wanted you dead, I would have killed you already. We both know that. Have you found a Mate yet Lucan?" Clark asked

Lucan hesitated to answer in fear of his mate's safety.

" Yes, I have." lucan replied.

" Let me ask you something then Lucan. do you care for her?" Clark asked the man again. His questions seeming to confuse Lucan.

" It is not the Viltrumite way to care for weaklings." Lucan replied although it seemed he was uncertain of himself.

" Lucan are you trying to convince me or yourself? I can tell you were lying just now, it's fine. There's nothing wrong for caring about someone weaker than you. Humans are really something aren't they? They're so fragile, some of them cowardly, and yet they still continue to surprise me." Clark explained to the man.

" You are... Right. I have learned much about the humans in the short period I have been here. But what does that have to do with why you are here?" Lucan asked

" I'll cut to the point. I want you to join me Lucan. Fight beside me as an ally." Clark said to the man.

" WHAT?!" Lucan yelled out.

" Join me Lucan and together we can usher in a new era for the viltrum empire. Just think about it Lucan. What happens once Thragg has the army he wants?" Clark asked as he talked to Lucan.

" What do you mean?" Lucan asked

" I mean what is Thragg going to do to you mate and everyone else's when he gets the army he wants. He's going to kill them all. I won't let that happen. When that day comes, a war is going break out Lucan. I killed many of your viltrumite allies by myself. You are going to be forced to pick a side Fight with me and we protect your families or fight and die with Thragg." Clark explained to the man.

" You are asking me to choose between my loyalties and my family." Lucan responded to the man.

" Omniman, Nolan Grayson, had to make the same choice. I know it seems unfair, but I don't want to have to kill you Lucan. And I know you don't want to kill your own mate." Clark said to the man.

" But I am Loyal to Viltrum." Lucan argued

" But is Thragg? I know of his mission. To find the heir of Argall. Has he been doing that? No, he's been doing whatever he needs to ensure his own rule. he doesn't care about Viltrum. He only cares about himself. Making sure he stays on top." Clark argued back. Clark could see the frustration building on Lucan's face. " Think about it Lucan. And when you're ready give me a call." Clark said as he handed Lucan his number. Lucan reluctantly took the number and clark left.

" Now, I need to find Thula." Clark said as he walked out of Lucan's apartment. He walked down the now crowded streets to find an empty alleyway. Once he was safe, he took off to the skies and began searching for the woman in question.

' There she is.' Clark thought to himself as he found the woman being hit on by a muscle head.

" Come on baby let me take you out. I'm sure I could show you a fun time." The man said to an unamused Thula.

" You better leave me alone weakling before I tear your throat out." Thula said to the man.

" What did you say bitch?" The man asked in disbelief.

" She said leave her alone. So, unless you want me to hurt you, you'll do as she says." Clark said as he grabbed the man's shoulder.

" What did you say punk? You think you can threaten me and get away with it?" the man yelled in Clark's face.

Clark took a deep breath and put his hand on the man's shoulder forcing him to the ground violently.

" What do you want? Did you come to hit on me like that weakling did?" Thula asked.

" You don't recognize me Thula I'm hurt. Why don't you look a little closer." Clark said as he pulled his glasses off. Like Lucan before Thula's eyes went wide.

" You! What do you want?" Thula asked.

" No need to be so nervous. I just want to talk. How about a more private setting?" Clark asked as he gestured to a nearby restaurant. Thula nodded and walked with the man towards the restaurant. Clark ordered a table and the two sat down.

" What do you want?" Thula asked again.

" Thula I want to ask you to join me." Clark said bluntly not trying to mince his words with the woman. Thula glared back at him angrily.

" You want me to betray my empire? How dare you." Thula said with venom in her voice.

" I've bested you twice already Thula. You know I have the strength to lead you." Clark said to the woman

" Yes, you do. But you are no viltrumite and loyalties lie Soley with my people." Thula replied.

" You would follow a traitor like Thragg?" Clark questioned.

" What do you mean?" Thula asked

" Thragg has been tasked with finding the heir of Argall. Something he has made no attempt in doing. Therefore, he is a traitor, no?" Clark asked.

Thula wanted to argue against the man but found no words to do so.

" Thula I respect your strength and tenacity. Thragg has done nothing but cause the decline of your people. Look at everything he's done. Can you soundly say Thragg is a good leader? Is he what's best for the Viltrumites? Or is he so in love with his position that he would deny the Viltrumites what they deserve?" Clark had planted the seed of doubt into Thula's mind just as he did with Lucan and Kregg. " Join me Thula I need someone I can trust by my side in the coming days. Fight with me not as my slave or my subject, but as my equal." Clark said to the woman.

" Your equal. What If I chose you as my mate?" Thula asked

" I have already taken Anissa as my Mate." Clark said to the woman.

" What? Anissa has finally chosen a new mate. She hasn't mated with anyone in hundreds of years." Thula asked in surprise.

Judging by the fact that Thula had gone silent it appeared she was in deep thought.

" You seem to have spoken truths here today. And your strength is truly magnificent. Give me time I will consider your offer, but I make no promises." Thula replied to the man.

" That is fine Thula. Here take this. When you come to a decisive decision then seek me out." Clark said as he handed Thula his number.

" And what of you being my mate?" Thula asked

" I don't know how things go for viltrumites. so, I suggest asking Anissa. For now, if you don't feel comfortable with mating with the humans then don't." Clark said as he got up from the table.

" But I was ordered by Grand Regent Thragg to reproduce." Thula replied.

" Thula. Thragg doesn't get to tell you when or who you mate with. Stop thinking like you're his property to control and think for yourself." Clark said before leaving the restaurant.

" Now then, let's see if we can't find the bastard who destroyed Vegas." Clark said to himself as he walked down the streets of New York
