I could feel him smirking on the other side of the phone!

"Your guess was right, I am that kind of person~~ There is absolutely no usable furniture in that house! Including the washing machine, fridge, and stove, after all, I made my new house ten years ago! By the way, before leaving, drop by my house. I have extra building material which, since I am so generous, I will give you for free. Did I mention the house needs reparation? And not even a lamp is working? ~~ Well, that's it!"

" I will stop by!!!" I said from between my grinding teeth. I was about to end the call when his voice came again.

"Hahaha! You didn't think that was all, did you?"

Now, I am on the verge of tearing up.

"There is no delivery there, so you should bring everything yourself! If you beg me again, I might lend you Cosetta!"

Cosetta was the name of his trailer. A black trailer that I don't know why but bulletproof, and more comfortable than Divine! Cosetta was an alarm, why Cosetta??? He had many more trailers in his possession. Hearing no answer, he continued.

"You know what? You can have Cosetta entirely! After all, I only used it to transport things to that mansion. Now you can do that for me! Be here in 20 min!"

Beep!

And he ended the call of his own accord. Why did everyone do this to me today?

Looking at the phone's black screen, it turned on again. I had a message from that unknown number, so I clicked on it.

[I am dying. Bring me some soup!]

[This is my new phone number, by the way!]

[Sis, your most handsome bro is dying! Why aren't you answering my calls?]

[Sniffs! Crying emoji. Do you not love me anymore??? Heartbroken emoji!]

[The entire nation knows I'm in the hospital, so why aren't you worried??? What is more important than your younger brother? Address of the hospital: bloodied gate history 2983 room 400!]

[30+ unread messages]

[Bring me a pineapple compote too! Pizza too! I want a double cheeseburger too!]

It was Dylan, probably with a nosebleed or, in the worst-case scenario, a broken bone!

Am I his manager???? Or do I look like food delivery???? This spoiled brat!!

Before leaving, I have to visit him. Besides the fact that he should find another delivery guy, according to his personality, if he can't get in touch, he might even report me missing!

The clock is only 09:30. They must have been in a hurry to deliver those documents. Taking my trash out, I called a cab. Grandfather is not someone to wait for anyone.

"He truly didn't wait for me!"

Turning the enormous car on, I drove Cusseta, the trailer, to Lucas's hotel. Grandpa had left the keys with his house guard to give to me. I knew it, but it struck again. He doesn't care that much for me!

First, he didn't come to the Chairman King's office to rescue me. Then, he left me alone at the funeral and now he didn't even wait for me.

"Hello Lucas, I'm in the lobby. Could you pack your things and come downstairs?"

"I thought you said you would come at non."

"Well. Change of the plans. Since your list was so tall, I figured you could help me by choosing them yourself. Anyway, no hurry."

"Coming in 20 min."

On my way to the hotel, I saw a bakery. While waiting for Lucas, I look around the bakery. It was a famous one, with many popular pastries I had wanted to try for a long time now.

Inside the bakery, I got tempted. Grandfather had a big fridge installed inside the trailer, which made me wanna do something crazy. Seeing the long queue, I was still determined to do it. I send Lucas a message. I am going to buy a ton of pastries.

[If you are ready, come to the bakery on the other side of the hotel.]

After 20 minutes of waiting, it was finally my turn.

"Hello, are you ready to order?" said the woman with a friendly smile.

Well, I have been ready a long time ago!

" Hello. Could you pack me two dozen of each of these six pastries? Please pack them separately and in durable packets." I said, pointing to my favorite pastries, cream puffs, vanilla creme-filled donuts, and the ones that had gone viral. Pistachio-creme filled croissants, crème brûlée donuts, double chocolate croissants and cube shaped croissants with mocha and Jame filling.

The cashier looked at me with widened eyes. Keeping the friendly smile on, she said the total.

"That would be one thousand and twenty. Are you paying in cash or card?"

'No. My total would be 960 dollars.'

However, someone might want a few expensive frappes, so I paid the amount.

"Anything else?"

Lucas's voice came from behind me.

"Add a large dark chocolate frappe with extra cream and lots of drizzle!"

I nodded my head to the counter.

"And a large frappuccino with extra creme!"

The woman counted again.

"That would be another forty!"

My voice collided with Lucas's voice.

"No, it won't!" "Wrong!"

"..."

Lucas looked at me with a raised brow.

"You counted my total wrong. I paid 60 extra. By the way, I should get 6 free drinks. I would like them to be strawberry frappes."

The woman's face went red. She double-checked.

"I am sorry! I must have mistakenly added one extra!"

I nodded my head. Not sure if she did it mistakenly.

" No problem. Could you ask the personnel to help me bring my purchase to my car? It's in the front."

"Oh, yes."

Remembering my plan to visit Mr. Actor, I added another demand.

"Oh, and please make an additional box with a mix of all my pastries."

The trailer's large fridge is now filled with pastries. The look on Lucas's and the bakery personnel's faces, when they saw Cusseta, was so hilarious I was about to die from trying not to laugh. Their jaws were nearly close to the ground. It was times like this that Lucas looked like a teenager. Unlike me, he seemed super excited to travel with Cusseta.

Originally, I was going to visit Dylan after I was done with my shopping list. Now that we have pastries, we should drop by him first. If these expensive pastries don't get eaten fresh, it will be a waste.

I stopped the car before the address Dylan had sent.

"Why are we here? Are you gonna donate pastries? You didn't strike me as the charity type!" said Lucas, looking my way in a natural tone.

He didn't, either, seem like the type to not strike when the opportunity arises. It was a situation to show sarcasm. So I will sacrifice and do it instead of him.

"No, I'm going to buy us medicine for when we have eaten all of them," I said as I winked at him.

"Ugh! Don't you ever do that again!" said Lucas as he held his eyes, pretending to vomit.

"Hey!! Don't overdo it! I am going in. Are you coming or staying?"

With how engrossed in Cusseta he seemed, I wasn't waiting for him to come. But he just dropped out of the car before I could even react!

"Wait for me!" I said, as I carefully took the drinks and the box with mixed pastries.

I hope you enjoyed reading.

If you liked the work, please add it to the library and share!

By the way, sorry for the delay!
