Into you - Part One

[Fourth Squadron Training Ground]

I am one of the commoner knights who outrank the sons of a noble family. At a young age, my grandfather who teach me to wield a sword died in a war when I was 15-years old.

I participated on the entrance exam and training for a knight cavalry held a few months after my grandfather passed away. Since then, I tried my best to surpass my limits and reach the highest rank a knight can have.

Five years past and now I am a Dame Marshall of the Fourth Squad of the Royal Knights. The squadron I manage was full of commoner like me. We are the shield of those scumbag noble knight who's afraid to face death.

"Oho! Look what we have here, a lowly commoner who drag their bodies to cling on the empire." One of the knights from other squadron said faced to face.

Some of my men caught the attention these jerk knights said.

"Don't waste your time talking with these lowly being. Not worthy of your words." The other man said.

Jeremy, one of best knight I have was about to attack them but I signaled not to approach and focus on what they are doing.

"Indeed, cherish the time you can practice here. One day you'll end up all dead in a war as a shield to us." The other guy said. "HAHAHAHA!" they laughed so hard.

We ignore them and continue our training. When someone grab my shoulder.

"You bitch! I'm talking to you!" He tightly grabs it and forced me to face him. This Is the most annoying part when they create a scene here every day.

I sharply look at him and punch his face. The knight landed on the ground and stumbled upon getting on his feet. His companion started to attacked me in unison, as if they can beat me with this kind of shabby tactics. What does this knight do on their training?

I increase my speed and reflexes to avoid their attack. I dodge the sword and target their lower abdomen and kick it hard that they flew to the wall and collapsed.

"Ha! What are you guys doing in your training ground? Does being a knight of the Royal Palace was some kind of joke to you?" I shouted. "Leave here this instance and don't ever come back!" My voice rang on the whole place.

"What's going on?!" Alexandra runs towards to me with a worried face. "What happen here?!" She shouted.

"The noble knights harassed us again and Dame Zenobia teach them a lesson they touched her." Jeremy explained.

"Who attacked and punish who?" She was confused for a moment then suddenly... "Good Job sis! HAHAHA" Upon realizing the situation, she burst into laughter. Then the other knights present laugh as well. "HAHAHAHAHAHA! Our Dame and Commander was great!" They proudly announce.

"Then, go back to your training, I don't want to see anyone slacking off their assess!" I said and glared them one by one.

I am at my office when I heard a knock...

"Dame Zenobia, this is Knight Commander Alexandra Fallon. The Royal Guards of the Royal Palace are looking for you." She stated after knocking.

"Come in." I told them to enter the office.

"Greetings, Dame Ryder Zenobia. Sorry for interrupting your time, but we have received an order to bring you to the Royal Escon Audience Chamber ordered by the Grand Chancellor Seth Laskaris. This is an immediate summon requesting for your presence." One of the Guards said.

"Alright, I will be going. Zandra, please monitor our squad while I was gone. I'll be back." I give an order to Zandra before walking.

"Understood Dame Zenobia." She said and bow her head.

"Lead the way." I told to the guards and we walk towards the palace.

[ Royal Escon Audience Chamber]

"Dame Marshall Ryder Zenobia, as the royal order bestowed by the sun of the kingdom, Emperor Cessair Le Doux. We ordered you to be deployed on the front-line together with your squad knight to penetrate the enemy attacked." Said the Grand Chancellor Seth Laskaris.

"I Dame Marshall Ryder Zenobia together with my squad knight, will accept the orders from his majesty the emperor, thus shall only bring glory to the empire and protect the kingdom with our life." I stated while bowing and on one-knee for honorifics and courtesy.

"Then we wish for all of you a safety return together with the good news of victory to the empire. Let us know what you need for the preparations." Said the Grand Chancellor Seth Laskaris.

"I will grab the opportunity you have given us. Please have a priest cast a blessing to all of us who will be deployed on the front-line." as I mentioned the word blessing some of the nobles who were on the chamber gasp and started their none sense chit chat.

"We will be approved for the request. Gather all the squad knight at the training ground tomorrow morning." He said to me as response.

"I am grateful for your generosity towards my men." I said while looking to him.

"Very well, if there's nothing you need, you are dismissed" he said to me.
