Chapter 8 The flames live on

Sam's POV

It's 10 A.M. and all I hear is yelling and the smell of burning bacon. I come out of the bedroom to Aaron and Kate arguing about the best way to cook breakfast and what to have. Dean is just siting at the table like a child in timeout. He looks up and says morning princess did you sleep well with a wiggle of his eyebrows. Aaron stops arguing and looks at me with a hint of flush on her cheeks, says shit the bacon. Kate says I told you it was burning. We need raw meat. For the thousand time we don't eat raw meat Kate Dean wines. So why are the girls arguing I ask. Dean says we'll first it was about if she slept with you then it was about Aaron's real age. Apparently Kate can smell when you lie I guess. She asked Aaron how old she was and she must have lied. Then it was about breakfast and what to have. What hold on what do you mean that Aaron is lying about her age. She sighs and says I'm not really 18 I have just always been told I was younger. That's all I'm saying for now. I remember what I read in the book and decided to tell everyone. I clear my through and start the story about Aaron's mom and everything that I read. Oh wow well that explains a lot Kate says. Yeah I agree, well except how vamps got the drop on my mom Aaron says.

Aaron's POV

I had no idea why my dad always said I was 4 years younger then I was. I only found out a couple weeks ago that I'm really 22 not 18. Sam goes on to say that on my 22 birthday I will ascend or transform. On that day Sharait always comes and kills you. I think that your mom sacrificing her self put everything in motion for the transformation Dean says. That and your red hair seam to be the only two things that are different this time Sam says. What color was my hair before I ask. You have always had black hair like your mother apparently from what the book says Sam replied. Well since we are all feed can we hit the road Dean asks. Kate says her goodbyes and walks out the door. I grab some clothes then we head out the door as well. I lock everything up and leave the spare key in it's hiding spot so cherry can look after the appointment or rent it out if she wants. We get into the Impala. Dean looks at Sam and says there's a case I think. He shows Sam the article it talks about a attack on a vehicle. Sam says so it seams like something normal to me. Dean says read more. Sam does and says it's a invisible attack in a vehicle in Iowa. Why don't we go investigate, should only take us a day or so from here. I ask why don't we take a plain instead ? Won't that be faster. Sam starts laughing and says Dean is scared of plains. I'm not scared of them, I just don't want to crash and die in one. Also I like being on the ground. So we head to Iowa in hopes of finding out what is going on. Dean plays some cheese music from the 80's. I ask can we please listen to something els. Dean replies with driver picks the music backseat shuts her cake hole. Sam shakes his head and says I could have told you that. We stop for the night at this run down motel some place in Nebraska. Luckily there was a room with 2 beds left. We get in the room. Dean says we'll this is great it's pink. I'm not worried about the room color I'm worried about the bed situation I say. I'll take the floor I say. I grab a pillow and extra blanket. I go to the bathroom to get changed and brush my teeth. I get my shirt and pants off then the door opens. Sam walks in right as my bra hit the floor. I say Um Sam. He looks up at me and it's as if something switched in him. He comes walking over to me. Pushes me up against the wall and starts kissing me. At first it's gentle then there is this need for more deep down. He kneads my left breast. My breath hitches. Then I blink and am just staring at him as if it never happened. I clear my throat. He looks up and says oh I'm sorry turning around with a glance in the mirror. He walks out shaking his head and smiling. I suspect he did it on purpose. I got changer into my spots bra and short black spandex shorts. I walk out of the room and it's just Sam and I in the room. Where is Dean I ask. He went to get pie Sam reply's. I sit on the bed and Sam comes to sit next to me. He looks at me and says what it this weird pull I have to you. It makes me do things that I would not normally do. Like going into the bathroom and wanting to be so close to you. He turns to me and moves closer as if the kiss me. He gets closer. I can smell the mint from his toothpaste on his breath. I move closer as well close my eyes and just as our lips are going to connect. The room door makes a click noise. We separate like two teenagers that just got caught making out. Dean walks in not even noticing I hope what just almost happened. I couldn't find any apple pie but I did find this cake he says. I say but cake doesn't taste the same. I turn the tv on to some cheese hallmark movie. Pretend to be interested in it while Dean eats his cake and Sam goes out. I'm going to bed I say and lay down on my make shift bed. The next thing I know I wake up in bed next to Sam in the bed. It's 4:30 in the morning. How the heck did I get in the bed. I say as I get my shoes on to go for a run. I step out of our room to a chilly day. I put my ear buds in turn on my MP3 player to Fivefinger Death Punch and start running. My run is shorter then usual, I run for 2 miles then turn around to go back. I get back in the room just as the boys are getting up. I thought Sam was a early morning person Dean says. I like the fresh morning air and the alone time to think. I'm going to get in the shower then we can go I say. I take a hot shower it's usually a fast shower. I don't have super long hair anymore so maintenance is easy. I get out put my hair in a braid. I put a skintight pair of pants and a low cut maroon color shirt on.
