Chapter 35: A relaxing rainy evening

Bai Yi Yang and her siblings walk back to their house together. Bai Yi Mo brought his bicycle and Bai Yi Chen let him carry the food bought from the market in the bicycle basket, Bai Yi Fang is already sitting behind him. They leave first and only their small back can be seen. Bai Yi Yang have to say that Bai Yi Mo strength is quite good. After going up and down the mountain with Bai Yi Fang these days, his stamina also increase a lot.

As for their other stuff, Bai Yi Chen has bought over a basket, he put it inside and the two girls don't have anything to carry now. Seems like Bai Yi Chen really understand her now, there is no need to say anything, he already knows her spending capacity. He even prepare a basket since he can guess that she will buy a lot.

"Is there a lot of people in town today?" Bai Yi Chen ask.

"There were quite a lot than last time, especially the wet market and supermarket. It was really quite crowded in the wet market, but there are also a lot of stalls." Bai Yi Yang said.

"The wet markets in town is the most crowded during Sundays because people will also come over to sell things."

"G supermarket must be crowded too. People like going to supermarket during weekends." Bai Yi Chen said.

"There were many people, but the layout is spacious, there are also a lot of cashier counters. Right, they also have an apps, they do delivery service houses to houses. Ge, you know it is very tiring to go to town every time to shop, we were almost cheated too.." Bai Yi Yang complaints.

"There is really a few people like that in town. Next time, we will go to town together." Bai Yi Chen said. These bad people must have seen that his three sisters is by their own with no adults and men, that's why they dare to make a move.

"En. But I don't think we need to go to town in the near future. I prefer delivery to our doors, it is really tiring." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Alright, after this you can rest at home." Bai Yi Chen smile.

"Your things has been delivered too, it arrived at 10 am, I just arranged it in the garage and your workshop." He add..

Along the way they chat lightly, she told Bai Yi Chen about the indoor playground, the things she purchased and the customised windows. Bai Yi Chen also lightly retell the story at home, how Bai Yi Mo complained of being left alone at home with his brother.

"Jiejie, how come Fang Fang and er jiejie got to play in the playground but I don't?" Bai Yi Mo asked when they reached home. Bai Yi Fang must've told him about this.

"Because jiejie also just know about that place now. Next time we go to town, Xiao Mo can go there too. Why, Fang Fang bragged about that?" Bai Yi Yang laugh. After washing her hands, she called the rest to sit at the table and eat the things they bought from the market, there are a lot.

"Fang Fang said she never saw place like that before, it was so fun." Bai Yi Mo said, still cannot move on.

"But she told me that it was quite boring in the end, she had fun because she found some little friends there." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Fang Fang…" Bai Yi Mo glared at Bai Yi Fang.

"There really was no other place like that. But it was the same, the place is not big so it was a bit boring. Anyway, I meet a lot of new friends though." Bai Yi Fang ignore the glare and continue eating.

The siblings continue chatting as they have their lunch. Their early lunch ended after 12 pm. Bai Yi Yang quickly ask her sisters to take a bath, Xiao Mo too.

Today they are not going anywhere and just stay at home. It is going to rain in the evening so Bai Yi Yang didn't allow the two kids to go to the village. They still try to negotiate with her though, they keep saying that if it doesn't rain, they still wanted to go out to play. But when it was 1 pm after the siblings finished washing up, rain started to pour, it was slow in the beginning but then it started getting heavier.

"It's good that we have new roof. If it were before, with this heavy rain, there would be a few pool of rain water inside." Bai Yi Ling said randomly. Bai Yi Yang smiled and pat her head. Them siblings are lying around in the bedroom, Bai Yi Fang is already asleep under the blanket. It was quite cold when it rains, what more they have a ceiling fan now.

"You guys cold?" Bai Yi Chen lying at the other end ask. Bai Yi Mo has also go down under the blanket.

"A bit." Bai Yi Yang said. Bai Yi Chen stood up and went to adjust the fan speed. Only then it becomes the comfortable type of cool.

"There will be a lot of mushrooms growing tomorrow after the rain but it's going to rain again in the evening. We can't dry it." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Jiejie, you said it was going to rain today in the evening, you are really correct. How did you guess it?" Bai Yi Ling ask. She also didn't take her sister word just now, she thought her older sister just don't want Xiao Mo and Fang Fang to play at the village today, who knows that it is really true.

"I have a strong sense, I also see the cloud movement, the winds.. If you search this up in the internet, this is how they make whether forecast." Bai Yi Yang said it as if it was a very simple to predict the whether.

"But how can't I not feel it? I thought it was going to be sunny all day, we even make plans to ride around the village." Bai Yi Mo said.

"There are just these kind of people who can feel it in advance, its like an instinct." Bai Yi Yang answer.

"Anyway, Xiao Mo is just not born with that ability." Bai Yi Yang laugh at him.

"Doesn't matters, I will ask jiejie from now on." Bai Yi Mo said.

"Then, seems like for the next three days, Xiao Mo really cannot go out to play again. This two days is still okay, today rain will stop by this late evening, tomorrow morning won't rain but it will start raining from the evening until Tuesday. Wednesday won't be much better, rain will only stop completely by Thursday." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Yang Yang, what you are saying is true?" Bai Yi Chen ask.

"Yes, ge, I think it will be better if we call the worker not to come for tomorrow until Thursday." Bai Yi Yang said.

"There are only the storage and gate left. They can finish it by tomorrow afternoon." Bai Yi Chen analyse the situation and said..

"Oh then let them come." Bai Yi Yang nod, agree with that.

As predicted, the rain really stop by late evening when Bai Yi Chen come out of the house. Bai Yi Yang and the rest fall asleep while Bai Yi Chen went to the field to make a temporary covering over the small sprout that they sow a few days ago. If what Bai Yi Yang said is true, then the small sprout will die if constantly hit by heavy rains.

Bai Yi Yang woke up in the evening feeling a bit hungry. What they ate in the afternoon are considered snacks even though there are a lot, so she still feels hungry. The rain has stopped but it was still cold overall.

She bought some meat today and she is going to make beef stew with potatoes and carrots. It will be good meal in these cold weather. She cut all the meats, a small part was cut into thin slices to be stir fried with broccoli and the other was cut into larger chunks for the beef stew.

Beef stew becomes more delicious and tender the longer you cook, if they reheat it over and over again, it will be very delicious. It can be their meal for at least for another day. It is really hard to not have refrigerator. But unboxing them now will make her life difficult later, they still need to install the flooring and make the kitchen counter, just wait until then bah.

Bai Yi Yang asked Bai Yi Chen to pick some vegetables to be added into the stew when she saw him in the farm. Their dinner will be stirred fried meat and broccoli in oyster sauce, beef stew and fried chicken sausages which Bai Yi Yang bought from the supermarket.

After returning with the vegetables in hands, Bai Yi Chen immediately went into the bathroom to bath, there are muds on his boots so he immediately went to clean it up before going inside. Bai Yi Yang saw this and got a future headache, what if they need to go through these rains to go to school. She really wanted to break the rules and buy a car. Bai Yi Ling came into the kitchen not long after.

"Did you turn on the light in the living room? The children may be scared of the dark." Bai Yi Yang said. Usually at this time, the sky is not this dark, but because of the rain, it becomes dark faster.

"Oh.." Bai Yi Ling made a U turn to the Main house again.

Bai Yi Yang stuffed the potatoes and carrots into the clay pot until it was full, these amounts can really feed them for a few more meals. Next, she cut the broccoli, there are still half and put it aside, then she quickly blanch it in hot water. Only after that did she start stir frying the thin meat and the broccoli, the visuals is quite good. Bai Yi Ling also help bring the finished food to the table.

"Jie, are we eating fried rice tomorrow?" Bai Yi Ling asked as she saw the huge amount of rice.

"Yeah.." Bai Yi Yang answer. She had brought a few string of dried chinese sausages today, it will go well in fried rice. Bai Yi Yang is now frying the sausage that she had made small cut on. It looks is upgraded by a lot.

"Ge, go wake up Xiao Mo and Fang Fang, they may not be able to sleep tonight." Bai Yi Fang said to Bai Yi Chen who just came out of the shower.

"En.." He said before heading to the Main House.

"I won't take a bath tonight." Seeing Bai Yi Chen, Bai Yi Yang said as she munch on an egg custard tart. It would be too cold, she also didn't go anywhere, so she can just take a bath later tomorrow.

"Jiejie, I also don't want, it's too cold." Bai Yi Ling also said. The two sisters laugh as they came to an agreement. In not time, the other siblings are already gathered at the dinner table chatting around while waiting for the stew.
