Chapter 192: Greenhouse and Maternal uncle

Bai Yi Yang joined her siblings to take afternoon nap. She lie around even after waking up until 2.30 pm when she decided to check out their finished storage house at the vegetables field. She is also going to check out the greenhouse and plow the soil there.

The other siblings also woke up, since they wanted to help, Bai Yi Yang told them to took out all farming tools or machines from their house's store room. That store room is exclusively a place to store stuff inside the house only, they won't mix it up anymore.

Since it is like that, they also need to deep clean the store room again. Bai Yi Ling and the small one is in charge of that thing after Bai Yi Chen took out the stuff from their store room. As for Bai Yi Yang, she will clean up the store house at the vegetables field first.

The 5 siblings work hard for the next 1 hour, they really work hard with cleaning the place properly then transferring the stuff to their respective places.

"This store room is as clean as our bedroom, I can sleep here with our spare mattress." Bai Yi Mo comment.

As he said, after being cleaned properly, it wasn't as good looking as their bedroom now, but it's really clean. However, this place is still a store room since there is only small window on the top, it's really not suitable for being a sleeping place.

"This place is where we put all these new extra mattress, our work clothes and everything, we must make sure it's clean. If not, mouse may come and ruin all these." Bai Yi Yang said.

"We have TongTong!" Bai Yi Fang said. Pointing at TongTong who is lazing around rolling on the grass.

'Host don't worry. I have warned all the small animals. They won't dare come." TongTong said. Actually this 'warning' things is not the first time, since they start selling the fruits at the orchard, they have thought about this problem. So, TongTong made a rule to his animal friends, they can only eat fruits that has fallen to the ground then nobody will harm them too. One time, a naughty monkey won't listen and get banned to eat from any of the fruits from the orchard for one week.

Since Bai Yi Yang start taking care of the orchard and spread her power there, the fruits from that orchard improved so much, in term of taste and nutrients, the animals from this mountain often waited until the workers finished picking fruits in the morning then they will go pick fruits on the ground.

Second Zhou has told her about this amusing occurrence, even monkeys don't take fruits from above the fruit trees, Second Zhou has caught them a few times picking fruits on the ground before running away into the jungle. Bai Yi Yang just laugh at this and told Second Zhou to let them be and not harm them, she even say a few words about this to the workers in case they came across these animals.

'Still, there are some who is a bit naughty.' Bai Yi Yang said. It's better to clean it up properly so that it won't attract these small creatures.

'If I caught them, I will just report them to their leader. Host, we all have an agreement.' TongTong said. This is what TongTong has been doing when Bai Yi Yang is not home, it went to make friends and build its influence amongst the animals. TongTong is truly the king of the mountain now. Bai Yi Yang is convinced, she can only laugh.

After finished cleaning up and organising, Bai Yi Yang finally bring Bai Yi Chen to the greenhouse. She is going to plan how to divide the area since she is planting a lot of things. Other than directly planting on the ground, she can also make racks for vases or make wooden crates and filled them with soil or even hang the vases from the roof. However, they still require some planning and proper sketches, she wanted to make a beautiful greenhouse.

"Then the area near the entrance, we can plant your flowers at the side and berries in the middle, as for the herbs, we can plant them in the inner area." Bai Yi Chen said.

"Sounds good. Let's add a wooden platform in the middle here, then also add a garden tea table set. We can also have some break in the greenhouse." Bai Yi Yang said. If what's she imagined really work, then their greenhouse can also be the place where they can receive their guest or for them siblings to hang out under the sun.

"I am thinking of solar panels when they install the fans and air conditioner but they say they don't use it yet in their design." Bai Yi Yang said, feeling a bit regretful. Maybe in a few more years she can change to that. If they can use solar panels for the road lights, that would be even better.

"Solar panels? The things the people in other countries are starting to use?" Bai Yi Chen ask. They have ideas about the technology, but it wasn't widely use in their country yet, what more a small town like the place they are staying now. The electric bills may be expensive but this is the only way now. Wait until 2-3 more years see if they start commercialising solar panels here.

After chatting a bit and deciding the placement of stuff, Bai Yi Yang wanted to return to her workshop to make plans and sketches while Bai Yi Chen wanted to staying their vegetables field to clean the weed a bit. It's just that, Bai Yi Ling who is usually calm came running from their house's direction.

"What's the matter?" Bai Yi Yang ask. They also just come out of the greenhouse. Bai Yi Ling is breathing heavily, she really ran fast to find her older brother and sister just now.

"Someone..come..he said..his name is Jiang Yu Zan.." Bai Yi Ling repeat the man's introduction. She don't recognise his face or his name and she doesn't allow her younger siblings to say anything even when the man ask who are them? She just have a bad feeling when she heard the surname Jiang, so she said for the person to wait outside the gate and she ran to find her older siblings.

"Jiang Yu Zan?" Bai Yi Yang ask and look at Bai Yi Chen's frown.

"Our maternal uncle." Bai Yi Chen answer with a complicated expression on his face. This maternal uncle has fallout with their mother because of the adoption problem. Does he know about their parents passing or not? He suddenly returned to the village and coming to their house, don't know what he is thinking.

"Maternal uncle?" Bai Yi Yang thought for a while. She don't know much about this maternal uncle, she don't have a memory either, so don't know if he is good or bad? Anyway, even though he have bad intention, it's not like he can do anything.

"Then let's meet him." Bai Yi Yang smile as she said this to Bai Yi Chen. Bai Yi Chen frown but in the end nod too.

"He came with a car, alone. He..doesn't look that rich.." Bai Yi Ling told them as they walk back home. Aren't their maternal uncle suppose to be rich person from City Shan?

Just as the area in front of their house can be seen, there is indeed a car parked there, an old car with stuff tied on top of the car. Standing next to the car is a man who looked to be in his 40s. When standing next to the old car, he looks a bit shabby. Is this really their rich maternal uncle? Bai Yi Chen also cannot believe it. Sitting at the stairs of the gate is Bai Yi Mo and Bai Yi Fang with the two puppies barking at the man.

"Jie! Ge!" The two kids saw the three of them and ran pass the man and his car.

"Someone came." Bai Yi Mo said and pointed at the man, Jiang Yu Zan. Since Bai Yi Ling told them to guard the main gate, they have been sitting there with the puppies who show fierce expression. The two puppies is not that big yet but they can be very intimidating to strangers.

"Xiao Chen! It's really you guys." Jiang Yu Zan called out when Bai Yi Chen and the rest come close. He have a big smile on his face, he almost wanted to come over to hug Bai Yi Chen. He also look at Bai Yi Yang and give a big smile.

It has been 5 years since they last met, when he saw the three kids, he had a faint guess, what more he also remember Bai Yi Ling a bit when she was a child, as for the two smaller one, he really don't recognise. But, Bai Yi Ling seems to have her guard up against him so even if he ask, the children won't talk to him. Seeing the twins, he is sure that this is his younger sister's children.

When he arrived at the village today, he suddenly have the urge to come to their parent's old mountain house first before heading to their house at the village centre, he was going to turn back if the road is blocked or something but the mountain road is unexpectedly smooth and clean, they seems to be regularly maintained. When he arrived at the old house, it has also changed a lot, the old house looks magnificent. There is only two possibilities, either his younger sister has returned or she already sold the place to others.

"Eldest uncle." Bai Yi Chen hasn't really warm up to this man so he cleverly avoid his overly friendly hug and bow slightly at him. Bai Yi Chen said to her siblings that this is their maternal uncle, telling them to greet him.

"Hello eldest uncle." The other 4 also follow suit seeing their older brother greet Jiang Yu Zan.

"Good, good. You still remember eldest uncle." Jiang Yu Zan understand the children reaction towards him and just pat Bai Yi Chen's shoulder. As for the rest, he didn't dare to even pat their head, they greet him politely but it also means that they wanted to draw a line with them. The siblings expression doesn't look that good too.

"When did you all move here? Where is your mother?" Jiang Yu Zan is still happy though despite the lukewarm treatment from her younger sister's children. He have gone though a lot in City Shan these recent years, so at least he can finally reunited with his only sibling.

"Are you really our mother's older brother? Then how come you don't know that my mother is not in the world anymore?" Bai Yi Mo ask frowning. He have heard the story about this maternal uncle fighting with their mother because they wanted to take him, so he don't really like this maternal uncle.

"What..what are you talking about?" Jiang Yu Zan smile froze when he heard the boy's word. What does it mean by their mother is not in the world anymore?

"Xiao Chen..can you explain to uncle?" Jiang Yu Zan look at Bai Yi Chen, his eyes is already red now.

Bai Yi Chen sigh, he look at Bai Yi Yang, asking for her opinion. Bai Yi Yang has observed this maternal uncle since he open his mouth, his action and words looks genuine, even TongTong said that this man is a good person in heart.
