CHAPTER 6: ONE SIDE LOVE STORY

Arya slowly opens her eyes, starting to notice things around her. At the same time, the doctor visits her and says, "How are you feeling now?"

Arya with a lowered voice," ohh! I...am fine.thank You for your concern".

The doctor says," You went unconscious due to dehydration. Take care of your health and drink plenty of water, as well as other healthy juices. I think you skipped your meal and not concentrating on your health will not help you in getting good grades. First, drink this juice a little,it may boost your energy. I even called your parents to pick you up because you need rest."

As Arya drinks the juice, Seo-joon and Min-ho are waiting outside the medical room. The doctor signals them to come inside and visit Arya. Arya is surprised to see her classmates who used to dislike her.

Min-ho and Seo-joon speak at the same time, "Are you okay?" Both boys look at each other and then turn their heads toward Arya again, asking the doctor, "Is there any issue with her?" The doctor and Arya start to laugh.

"Huh! It's a coincidence that neither of us planned the same question to ask you," Min-ho explains with a sense of humor.

Seo-joon responds, "Yes, I came here to check if you're alright. You have evening classes, but it's okay and i will manage with my knowledge."

Suddenly, the announcement rings, indicating everyone should be in the meeting hall. Both Min-ho and Seo-joon exchange glances, blink their eyes, and run towards the meeting hall.

The doctor went outside to keep an eye on students on her floor. Students were running like a goat gang to enter the meeting hall. The doctor signals to Arya that many students are gathering in the meeting hall.

Arya asks, "Should I stay here, or should I attend the meeting too, madam?"

The doctor, "No, you are not allowed to go there. Instead, you can attend the meeting through my laptop, and it's live too."

The students and staff are ready to hear the speech from the principal. The loud noises from the students talking about the suicidal deaths echo like sounds in a bustling market. Suddenly, all the voices in the meeting hall quiet down as the principal and the investigation team arrive.

The principal initiates the speech with a stern voice, "Hello, everyone! I know you are all concerned about the recent suicides of a student Baekhyun and an English teacher Hwa-young. Based on my knowledge, I believe the deceased individuals may have been blackmailed by someone unknown. If any of you have doubts about anyone or feel blackmailed, be brave. Don't worry, just contact the investigation team. They will help you. If you come across information about the case, inform the police, and your name will be kept confidential. Now, the head of the Crime Investigation Department, Sam, will address us."

officer sam with a manic voice,"Hello, students and staff! I am Sam, the head of the Crime Investigation Department. I can solve most cases easily, but this one is like a difficult puzzle. As your principal mentioned, if you know something, please inform or report it to us."

As Officer Sam talks about the crime-related matters, Arya's face turns red, and she blushes, a change noticed by the doctor.

The doctor asks, "Do you know Officer Sam? You're blushing while looking at his face."

Arya replies, "I know him as a police officer who came to investigate me about Baekhyun's suicidal case. I blush because he looks like an idol. He is elder than me, I think it's mismatch between us."

The doctor responds, "Oh, I see you prioritize him as crush material. Are you really interested in him?"

Arya replies, "Nooo! He looks good, but it doesn't mean I am interested in him. Maybe he's already married. You're asking questions as if you're his real girlfriend."

The doctor laughs, "Awwww! I am not his girlfriend, but he recently upgraded to my fiancé."

Arya is literally shocked to hear the news from the doctor, and she asks, "Are you kidding me?"

The doctor opens the passcode of her phone, moves her fingers to open the gallery, and comes near to Arya, showing the engagement pictures of her and Sam. This revelation makes Arya's inner world darker. Arya, with a smiley face, says, "Congratulations, ma'am." The doctor nods with a smile.

After the meeting ended, everyone returned to their classes and duties. The investigation team, along with the principal, came to meet Arya in the medical room. Police Officer Sam approached Arya and asked, "Are you okay?" Arya nodded. Then, Sam asked again, "Did you find out anything about Baekhyun's suicidal death?" Arya answered with a lowered voice, "No, I didn't receive any strange information about the case."

Sam advised her to rest well, and then he signaled the doctor to join him for coffee, leaving Arya with a strange and pensive mindset.

Arya's mother arrived at the medical room and thanked the doctor for taking care of her daughter. Later, she picked up Arya to go home.

Arya really looks lifeless, and her mother notices it. She tries her best to have a talk with her, but Arya is deeply disturbed by Police Officer Sam's engagement.

Arya's mother groans, "Ari! What's bothering you, honey? Do you think Mom is going to cancel the shopping plan?"

Arya responds, "Eww! No, Mom. I feel tired."

"So something more than the shopping plan had disturbed you, my girl," Arya's mother says.

Arya's mother stops the car due to traffic, waiting for the green signal to move on. Arya's eyes catch Police Officer Sam and the doctor's enjoyable coffee date through the car window.

As the car moves on, Arya cries with tears flowing like a river. To console her daughter, Arya's mother stops the car at a coffee shop and begins to comfort her.

"I think the recent suicidal death cases may have irritated your mind a lot. Don't worry, my darling, I will take care of everything," she says, giving Arya a tight hug that dispels negative thoughts.

Arya hugs her mother and says, "Let's go shopping, Mom, and buy my favorite snacks and a pair of beautiful shoes for me."
