Business is booming
Me and my brother finished the construction of our shop a month or so ago and boy was it a big hit!
It was just a small 5 meter by 10 meters house with a lobby and 2 separate rooms just outside Gu Yue clan city. It is easy to access and easy to work.
Anyone can enter the rooms and use the Gu worm they booked for 20 minutes. Each session costs 13 primeval stones. Sadly, the place won't run itself and I have more important shit to do than sit around and welcome some dumb Gu masters.
We appointed some mortals as staff to do that shit for us! Their pay isn't bad either. The receptionist gets paid 6 primeval stones a month and the manager gets paid 10 and the escorts get paid 4.
Those might seem like low wages, but that pay is extravagant for mortals. Most mortals only need primeval stones to buy food and whatnot. A single mortal can live off of 1 primeval stone for an entire month! Imagine being paid enough to last you 10 months for just. They are probably going to be some of the richest mortals in the entire Gu Yue clan.
Of course, that measley pay is nothing compared to my income! Basically everyone wants an appointment! The total appointments they have to book is 50 to get the full benefits of our shop and almost everyone in our clan wants to use those Gus'. The shop is open from 8 am to 8 pm. Also, we don't have to hire security, which is the best part!
You think 13 per session is expensive, mortal? Well, it is three primeval stone off of being dirt cheap! A boar strength Gu sells for 500-650 primeval stones on the market, so imagine being able to cultivate it for 325 primeval stones. That is a 35% discount, minimum! I wanted to sell it for 20 per session, but I would be chastised and wouldn't get nearly as much traffic as I do now.
Some people don't need the strength these Gus' provide, but the service is so cheap, why shouldn't they give it a try? Each master of Gu in our clan will pay us 650 primeval stones to book appointments in our shop. We are already pre booked months in advance!
That is only one of the many reasons. The other is the reason we don't need to hire rank 2 Gu masters as guards. Everyone with an appointment signs a contract and agrees to become temporary guards!
Anyone who makes trouble in my shop will get 1) permanently banned 2) beaten down by all the Gu masters there 3) beaten up afterward by me or Chun Jack 4) won't receive their money back 5) have all of their appointments canceled 6) have the whole clan angry at their selfishness.
People call me stuff like "True son of the Gu Yue clan", "selfless young man" and "second hidden elder", which is quite weird now that I think about it.
I have made some connections over these appointments. Here is the funny part of being a huge business owner, I permabanned Fang Zheng for like a couple of weeks and then unbanned him, so now he is months away from his first appointment. Get pogged on boy!
Also, there is an ironclad rule of paying upfront. No one is allowed to book anything unless they pay upfront. You want to book 25 sessions, pay 325 upfront! You want all 50 sessions, pay 650 upfront!
The total amount of money we have made over the last month is one hundred and thirty thousand! That is a fuckton of money! The best part is people are calling me selfless for renting it for such a cheap price!
I have almost as much assets as the entire Mo clan from this one simple building! The success of this shop is mostly do to my brother's status.
The prideful and dumbass Gu masters think "A mortal has become so rich because of such Gus', why can't I?" and they go on to follow such a weird dream.
The only thing I am missing right now is the heavenly essence treasure lotus and my money making potential will peak!
Speaking of the heavenly essence treasure lotus, I am also going to steal it. Fuck the clan elder and any schemes I have against him! I prefer the mini spirit spring over a small victory, which will only bring me a little bit of self-satisfaction. I don't even care if Fang Zheng got the jade skin Gu at this point. I just want the lotus.
Also, Fang Yuan somehow got the 325 primeval stones and finished cultivating the strength of a boar. He wasn't given any more, though. I am not giving any extra appointments to him! We worked a lot to get the permit!
Ah, you wondering about the mission? Well, it was pretty easy... You want to know the specific details? Doesn't matter! It was so easy it isn't even worth mentioning!
I'd say the chances of Gu Yue clan resisting the beast wave has gone up tremendously because of this single shop! It is also a shop that will never go out of date!
The supply is so limited I control the entire market! Some elders feel displeased about this, seeing as I am a minor and they can't tax shit!
This is also another benefit of selling it for so cheap. I literally went out to the public and riled the- nope, I did a mission, that is all that happened! Like a certain incident, that happened at a certain square, we will sweep it under a rug and forget about how it all happened.
I am rich! With all of this wealth I had to buy a primeval storage Gu for 1.5k primeval stones. It can store 200K primeval stones and can be refined with a slow elder Gu to create the primeval elder Gu worm. The slow elder Gu costs 45 Gu points, so I can theoretically make a primeval elder Gu for only 60 Gu points, but I barely have 400 Gu points now!
A little light Gu is sold for 200 primeval stones and a moonlight Gu costs 350 primeval stones. I can basically buy a huge stock of moonlight Gus and sell them to my system, exchanging 15K or so primeval stones for my Fate Flipped Upside Down Gu.
Sadly, I don't think they are willing to sell me around 50 moonlight Gus' and I can't buy that many Gus' without looking a bit suspicious. I am not stupid!
Speaking of stupid, here is some really depressing facts about my shop. You remember tye tules I mentioned? The sad thing is, some people still cause trouble!
There ARE people actually dumb enough to cause trouble in my shop! That is a total bruh moment. Why the fuck would you cause trouble there? Pissing off the publicly acknowledged top of the 5 rising stars and a second hidden elder over what? How close your appointment is?
These boar strength Gu worms are a literal gold mine! Too bad Fang Yuan didn't take hold of such a huge profit opportunity when he got the black boar Gu. It would have been a bit less effective than right now, but it would make him rich.
Even if he or someone else wants to do that, then too bad! They aren't going to get that one either! I'll yoink it for myself and increase my brother's strength!
Maybe I should go and pre hunt the other boar King? I should probably do that before the beast tide begins. Well, it starts in like 5 or 7 days, so might as well wait a few days.
I basically ignored the year end battle assessment, as almost the entire village knows I am guaranteed to win, as I have been swinging my rank 2 dong around the village for quite a while.
I don't even want to or am required to participate. I still will, as I like humiliating people and Fang Yuan will begin doubting the information I have given him if I don't humiliate my next opponent.
My brother is on a different mission now! I told him to dig a gi-motherfucking-gantic hole near a certain place, which may or may not result in him connecting with the cave containing the heavenly essence treasure lotus. He thinks it is to trap the future wolf horde coming towards us and so do the rest of our clansmen!
People are paying really close attention to me these days. My brother connecting with the cave should happen around the time the end of year battle ends, so we will have enough time to finish digging that entrance, get the heavenly essence treasure lotus and bury the hole.
I have already made a giant trapdoor, so the entire city bought that excuse. Almost everyone in our city knows about my overly welcoming front door, so no one doubts it is going to be a gigantic pitfall trap! Reputation Gu strikes again!
The basic premise is this, giant round circle around 10 meters in diameter. The four cardinal points of it are interconnected with an emptied out middle and we have a 13 meter long iron pole and two 6 meter poles. It will be placed over the pit and covered by mud.
Once beasts start running across it, I will pull out the 13 meter long rod and the beasts will cause the, now, barely supported platform to tilt and slide them down into the giant pit, where I will lay down a bunch of explosive potatoes and BAM! Over 100 beasts slain by a simple trapdoor!
How have kings and other rules not though of such a trap before? It is ingenious and perfect! Nothing can go wrong! Ahem. I am getting a bit too excited to be honest. This excitement is the exact reason no one doubts me though, but It isn't meant to be a trap! It is my entrance to the forbidden grounds!
I have 3 traps at my house's doorstep and not even my brother knows how many inside it. If I am ever seen walking around with a rank 9 Gu worm, all I need to do is tell these people I need it for a trap and they will instantly let the matter go!
I had to buy a charred thunder potato mother Gu as well, which cost me like 6k primeval stones, but it was worth it.
I can't use it to dig out a hole. If beasts hear sounds of explosion, they are going to become highly unmotivated to go to that location. We need to dig and dig deep the old fashioned way!
