41. Multiverse Teleportation

Lucifer stared at the screen for a few seconds, he was surprised by the description of the skill he received.

"Hahahaha"

He began to laugh like a maniac after reading the description of the skill and smiled.

"That's the best..no one of the best skills i have received"

He was already getting fed up with the fact of searching for the gates but now he received this skill.

"Wait first check whether this works inside of the tower"

The description may have said that a person could travel between the whole multiverse but the situation of the tower is something special, so Lucifer isn't sure whether it includes the travel inside of the tower.

"Let's try this"

Lucifer had thought of the level 80 inside of this tower but his level didn't allow it.

"Ok let's think of any lower level, how about level 30?"

"Tsk, Level 14 it is"

Lucifer this time crossed his fingers as he imagined the level 14 of this tower and surprisingly the skill worked.

His visuals changed and was assaulted by a painful headache which caused him to scream.

"Aaargh"

Even with his high [True Immunity] skill he was also assaulted by such a huge pain that made him bewildered.

His stomach began to churn up and vomit gushed out of his mouth, it was quite an unpleasant experience but he was able to adapt himself.

"Urgh"

The first time after using the devour skill he got such a feeling in his life.

After vomiting he finally began to regain his senses and looked around his surroundings, it was the same dark and gloomy as it was in every floor of the tower but this time there weren't dead trees around instead it was a forest with unusual red leaves all around him.

'Where is this?'

He thought to himself as he looked around and soon saw a smoke rising in the near distance.

"Huh?"

Lucifer was quite confused by this and to look at it more clearly he got up with shivering legs and rubbed his eyes with his hands looking at the place clearly.

He saw several humanoid figures near the smoke and felt hundreds of presences all around him which made him instantly alert.

He looked around at the trees and saw hundreds of human heads hanging on the branches of the trees all around with strings, all of them had their eyes open and none of them had eyes as if they were all gauged out.

Looking at the scene Lucifer's heart began to throb faster and he looked at the figures in front of him more carefully.

Men and women all wearing tribal clothes made up of leaves and animal skins or monster skins looking at him with hungry eyes.

They all had wooden weapons in their hands and their mouths were covered with red colour.

'Wait is that blood?'

All of them had their whole mouth covered with blood and were approaching him at a slow pace.

'Oh shit! they are cannizers'

"Devour"

Lucifer cursed after identifying the beings in front of him and didn't waste any time but directly activated his devour skill all over the surroundings killing everyone around him in one go.

These beings are called cannizers, they look like humans but are born with natural immortality and monster-like strength which can easily kill even level 70 humans with their powers.

They are all famous for the inhuman torture they do to their prey which are humans and other human like creatures before feasting on them.

Lucifer who identified them can't take any risk after knowing he was surrounded by hundreds of these cannizers where he has no chances to win against.

After killing every single one of them Lucifer fell on his butt and looked around the whole place which has now become a dessert after he devoured the whole area together.
