Inheritance : The Progenitor of DxD

Living my life as a normal teenager was more troublesome than I could have ever thought .Not only did something terrible happened to me one year ago, but after that incident I had to live in a town that was filled with the smell of fallen angel, devils and church slaves. And above all of those things, I had to keep a low profile so that I could keep my life intact and my bloody diet. * I don't own High School DxD or Strike the Blood Same thing with the cover. The only thing that I own are my OC and the changes that I would make. * Also this is a fan fiction aka an AU world so for the love of the God, don't start yelling that in the original that didn't happened or that it went completely different : I know and I don't care. Chapter 5 - The judge is my stalker?

"Now, would you please tell me why are you stalking me, my dear stalker?"

"I… um…. I know this may sound a little bit disgusting and I admit that it's beyond creepy, but I have been watching you for some time senpai and I've found out that you are very nice, not to mention the fact that you are handsome and have that cold aura around yourself, making most of the students scared of you. I also find your way of playing with your pet cute."

She started talking, nervously rubbing her thumbs together, while keeping her gaze fixed to the floor. She paused a moment, seeming to work up some courage before she tried to look me in the eyes with a serious expression. "I-I want you to be my boyfriend!" the girl exclaimed with all the strength she could muster.

To be completely honest, her words caught me off guard, and thanks to that, I unconsciously weaken my grip on her a little, unfortunately for me, that was a mistake, because of me, weakening my grip over her waist, the girl managed to quickly get as far away as possible, before I could catch her and as soon as she was a few meters away from me, she summoned a spear out of thin air.

"A pity, since I may have just accepted your feelings, but now… that you weren't really sincere with your words, what should I do with you?"

I move my hand to block an incoming attack but instead of deflecting the attack, I was sent flying through the street, after all, not many things can truly injure me, though I didn't expect the fact that even if I was stronger than a normal human wouldn't work as I assumed it would. Not only did I was caught unprepared, but at the same time, her attack managed to injure me slightly. At the same time, the attack created an enormous gust of wind pushing back dirt and dusk while shaking the grounds.

As soon as I got up on my feet, I glanced at the girl and saw her spear aimed at me, but that wasn't what surprised me the most. While I can only regretfully admit that I didn't really train this ability of mine, I could still feel the essence of my opponent if that makes any sense, and this girl was one hundred percent human.

"For all of your crimes, this will be the day you will die, Akatsuki Kojou!"

I confusedly looked at her for a second before I dashed to her left side. The girl didn't expect me to make such a sudden attack, especially coming from me, since I rarely fight for no reason, not to mention that I didn't fought this past month and thanks to that I've managed to strike her in the stomach with a left jab. On contrary to what I have expected to happen, the girl didn't fall on the ground, but that's was thanks to her gripping the hilt of her spear that she stabbed in the ground as soon as my punch connected with her stomach. Cautiously approaching the bleeding and pale girl, I found her unconscious while holding the spear as if her life was depending on it.

Seeing her in that state got the better of me, and while I should have just let her here, I couldn't forgive myself if I would that. Sometimes I hate how I was raised by my father and his stupid noble and knightly comportment …

Letting a long sigh, I gently picked the girl and put her on my shoulder while with my other hand, I grabbed the spear. No matter what someone may say I couldn't let this poor girl outside even if she was the one to attack me, I just hope she had a good reason for doing that, since I may just break my oath if she doesn't …

Unknowingly to both of us, another middle school white-haired girl saw the whole confrontation and as soon as I picked the girl from the street, she left to report to her master.

Meanwhile, a rather familiar crimson princess was waiting for her rook to return from her mission. While Rias could have just sent a familiar to spy on me, she preferred to send her rook since she was way better doing this kind of job than a familiar that could only follow a rather restricted set of orders.

As she was drinking her tea, Rias saw her rook hurriedly entering through the door, slightly winded, most likely from hurrying to report to her master that something may have happened to Akatsuki Kojou.

"What happened Koneko-chan? Did he see you?"

"No, Buchou, he didn't find me, but something else happened. He was going home like any normal student, but after a few minutes of walking another person start stalking him, that's when I found out that he sensed the second person. When he sensed her, Kojou-senpai took some shortcuts and after a few of them, he managed to hide somewhere in the shadows. The second person lost him and she became quite worried for a second before, Kojou-senpai caught her by the waist and whispered something in her ear. After that, the girl managed to get out of his grip by confusing her love for him, then she summoned a spear and attacked him, managing to injure him, at least I think she injured him. Kojou-senpai, retaliate quite quickly and rather brutally as if he was in a hurry to finish this, and then he successfully knocked the girl out, then he put her on his shoulder and left with both the girl and her spear."

"Did he use any kind of magic or aura? Maybe he used some sacred gear? Or anything that we could use to find out if he's from any faction?"

"No Buchou, he just punched the girl in the stomach, and while he was quite fast for a normal teenager, in my opinion, even though that would be hard to achieve with some training, it's not impossible and thanks to that, I believe that he's a human."

"As for the girl, did you recognize her?"

"Yes Buchou, she is also a new student. I recall she is in the same year as Kiba-san. Do you want me to approach her? Since I don't think she would talk to Kiba-senpai."

"For now, we won't pursue her. Maybe in the future, after we find out where does her loyalty stands."

Rias was surprised by what Koneko told her, after all even though she and her queen found me quite interesting, not even in a thousand years would have they thought that Akatsuki Kojou was someone way more interesting than they had initially thought to be. At the same time, another thought appeared in her head and that was that maybe I was the key to her freedom.

"Thank you Koneko-chan. You did a wonderful job."

Koneko just nodded at her, and then she sat on the couch and start eating her sweets. Rias, on the other hand, turned towards her friend and queen with a slightly worried expression.

Akeno saw her troubled expression and decided to be the first tone to talk.

"What's bothering you, Rias? I know that it's related to what Koneko had just told us, but maybe it's not that bad as you think."

"I don't know what to do, Akeno? Should we approach him directly or should I try to do it like I always do?"

"Why don't you let me try to see if I can befriend or even seduce him? Maybe, if I succeed then we could ask him to join us."

"No, Akeno, I can't let you do that. We can try to befriend him, but I still believe that it would be better to somehow force him to join us. "

"Are you sure Rias? Didn't Sona-Kaichou tell us that, if you would try to force someone again, she would bring this matter to her sister?"

"You are right Akeno…we would try the first method."

"No problem, Rias, it is my duty as both you friend and queen to share your burden."

Meanwhile, the subject of their conversation was waiting for the girl to wake up while at the time keeping the spear she used to attack at a reasonable distance away from her, just in case she woke up and chooses violence.

Seeing that she was still deep in her dreams owing to how she was breathing, another perk of my transformation into a vampire. I briefly looked at her sleeping face, and I had to admit that the girl was pretty cute and while she was clearly younger than me, by not much that's for sure, she had quite an attractive body, especially her cute neck and those developing pair … shaking my head to forget those thoughts, I've decided to prepare some dinner for us, more for her than me as I didn't really need to eat food every day to stay alive and healthy, but the real reason was to check my teenager desires in check or god forbids what I could do to this sleeping girl.

One hour later, the girl slowly opened her eyes and the first thing that she did was to hurriedly search for her spear. Thankfully she saw her weapon as soon as she look to her right and thanks to that, her expression changed into one of relief before quickly shivering in fear, after all, she had lost the fight against her target and now god knows what her target could plan to do with her. From all that she knows, she could be held hostage or even worse, a living blood bank.

Just as she tried to get up from the bed, she heard the voice of her target.

"Wait, wait! Don't get up so suddenly, I hit you pretty bad back then and I fear that I may have injured you. I'm sorry for hitting you, but as you already know, it was self-defense, so whatever you may want to try, won't work."

The girl panicked when she heard my words and saw me walking towards her and as if it was an instinct to her, she tried to slap me, only for me to dodge the slap, and then she angrily glared at me.

"For the love of God, girl, could you please stop trying to hit me? Does my face make you angry or something? Did I break your heart? Or why do you keep trying to hit me?"

For a second she thought about what to answer and then seeing that she would probably fail to escape unharmed, she sighed and lower her shoulders.

"I'm from the Vatican and I was tasked to watch over you, Akatsuki Kojou, the fourth progenitor. As for why did I attacked you…you turned a man into a thrall a few months ago and he killed a whole family! I had to end his life and then I come here to take your life for that crime!"

I was stunned by what she said to me, after all, I didn't transform that man, I just lost control that day, heck I didn't even know that I can turn someone into a thrall, whatever that may be.

"Sorry for that, but I have a really good reason for what happened there."

"I'm willing to listen to your excuse, Akatsuki Kojou-san."
