The city was surrounded by a metallic wall. Various kinds of weapons were installed in the wall, likewise many soldiers in top-notch modern armor carrying laser weapons walked on top of the wall, ready to shoot at anyone who dares to brute force or any monster that accidentally stumbled here.

The gate opened slowly, and the modern car, not only stylish but luxurious, moved in.

Aldrich and William sat in the car as it drove by itself. There were only two seats in the car.

The imperial city was huge, with millions of Supers living here. The lowest Super would rank as C while the highest as S.

The headquarters of the Super Association lies at the center of this city, with the leader being the strongest Super in the whole world.

There's a rumor that he has reached S+ rank.

In the imperial city, there were no normal humans. The normal humans living here would be the blood relatives of Supers with ranks A and S.

Supers of ranks C and B couldn't bring their families here.

"Here." William handed her his card and the appointment letter he received.

"Huh!" Seeing the letters, her calm face turned into a shocked one. She hurriedly bowed her head. "Please wait, sir, I will inform the Association Chief!"

Without wasting a moment, she moved at a very fast speed. Normal humans would only see a flash, while Supers could barely see her figure.

In less than a minute, the woman returned to them.

"Please... The chairman is waiting for you on the top floor." Respectfully, she led them to the elevator.

The elevator moved fast and reached the top floor within two minutes.

*Ding!*

The elevator door opened. Rows of maids, wearing revealing outfits, greeted them.

"What is this?" Aldrich asked in confusion.

"This…" William was embarrassed and didn't know how to respond.

The receptionist led them to the door and whispered to Aldrich. "Sir, if you like, you can choose any of them... and have fun with them for a night."

Aldrich: "..."

He didn't say anything. He entered the room.

The room wasn't luxurious. Every piece of furniture was of the normal kind. The whole room looked bland, as if it belonged to a normal office room.

At the end of the room, there was a desk. Lots of documents were stacked on it. In front of the desk was a huge screen that showed countless footages of dungeons all over the city.

Sitting in a normal chair was a middle-aged man. He looked... ordinary.

He was reading the document at high speed. Ten documents per second.

"Sir…" The receptionist called.

"Oh, you have arrived. Come, come and sit..." He pointed at the chair.

The receptionist bowed and left the room. Aldrich sat on the chair.

William stood behind. He looked like his assistant. He peeked at the strongest Super's face and was shocked as there was nothing special about it.

"So you are Aldrich." He said with a smile.

"Yes." Aldrich nodded.

"How is it? The imperial city."

"Good, I guess. I am here just now. So I would have to take a look to know better."

"If there's any dissatisfaction, please tell me."

William was stunned.

Why is the chairman talking so politely?

Even if the chairman had described some of Aldrich's powers, he hadn't witnessed them in person. Not to mention, Aldrich was only at peak C rank.

The image of the strongest Super in the world was falling in William's heart.

Many parts of the continent were shown on the screen.

The land was green and poisonous. Monsters of varying sizes roamed around.

"The strongest monster on the continent, the Lich, currently resides at the corner of the continent."

The screen expanded.

Thousands of skeletons marched around the land. Their hollow sockets lit in red flame.

A throne made of bone was in the middle. As the footage was taken through satellite, the figure sitting in the chair wasn't clear.

However, the huge area around the throne was surrounded by bones. Many undead creatures were resting.

"A lich." Aldrich looked at the screen with interest. Seeing the bones, he felt an itch in his heart, wanting to claim that as his own.

"So, Sir Aldrich, we want your help to recover the continent and erase the threat of the monster, so we can all live in peace."
