It seems like this Stealth Skill makes me a natural-born assassin…

Azmodeus had realized this a couple hours ago, but after obtaining the Stealth Skill, everything from his cunningness to his fighting style had started to change.

Are there more to these 'Traits' than meets the eye, or am I just imagining things…?

He started to ponder the matter concerning his slight changes before he suddenly felt the presence of the last assassin nearing his location.

After feeling the assassin rush toward his location at an insane speed, Azmodeus dashed toward the lush green trees.

It didn't take long before he once again found himself atop a tall tree.

And as soon as he made it up there and went deathly silent, stopping most of his bodily functions, the last Early Pulse Condensation Stage Assassin approached the body of the last of his brother's.

"Arrgghh!!! Just wait until I find you, you son of a b*tch!! I'll capture you and then slice you up into a million different pieces before scattering your corpse throughout the Yang Forest!"

The Assassin's sorrow-filled screams could be heard from thousands of meters away as many powerful beasts started to approach their location due to the noise.

As much as I feel bad about killing this guy's brothers, this is life, and I only kill those who have attempted to kill me…

Adaptation and Evolution… If I wish to survive, I have to know when to not let emotions get involved...

Azmodeus's thoughts swirled around inside his head, as he had already disappeared from his spot on the tall tree, his nimble frame sliding throughout the forest terrain.

There was no better time to take advantage of someone than when their emotions were spiraling and their guards were lowered.

And in this situation, the deaths of all of his brothers caused the last assassin to enter a state of deep, mindless grief.

*Pat!*

Azmodeus jumped atop a short tree as he leaped over it and made a quiet slide.

Following these discrete actions, silence deafened the forest...

However, that silence was swiftly broken by the gushing sound of crimson blood!

Four.

The counting had come to an end as Azmodeus deactivated his Stealth Ability and came back to the world of the seen.

And around him, there were four assassins scattered throughout this section of the Yang Forest.

Nonetheless, despite the bloody scene before him, he quickly moved toward all the gruesome corpses and picked up everything of value.

Of which, he had found not only a few Low level Common-Rank Daggers, but also a few thousand Copper Coins!

These guys were quite rich, eh?

A few thousand Copper Coins are enough for one to live comfortably for months in Spirit River City, and these guys just had it lying around with them…

At this thought, Azmodeus suddenly remembered that he forgot to loot the bags of the Young Master and his fellows when they came to take him away!

Damn it! How could I be so stupid!? Just imagine all the money and items I missed out on!

The only thing he had taken was a sword, which at the time seemed like the smartest choice, but now he couldn't help but feel that he was an absolute idiot!

*Sigh…* He let out a soft sigh before dashing away from the scene, as a few beasts beyond his capabilities were headed straight for him.

And as he made his swift escape, he took the chance to scan over the various system notifications that he had ignored during his fight with the four assassins.

After receiving these notifications, Azmodeus decided to put all of his Evolution Essence into leveling up, as his Stealth Skill was still good at Level 2, and Level 3 required him to use 1000 Evolution Essence, so he'd rather not spend that much if not necessary.

Azmodeus didn't even need half a second to decide what he wanted to do after seeing the last pop-up, as he immediately clicked 'Convert to Evolution Essence'!

Just imagining the embarrassment he would feel after using such a ridiculous ability was enough to have him crawl into a hole and bury himself alive!

After acquiring another large sum of Evolution Essence, Azmodeus dumped it all into his level.

Azmodeus felt a wave of power wash over him, as his strength had just crossed a point where he could be considered someone quite strong among the Inner Disciples of the Yang Sect.

Without even knowing better, he had already surpassed the strength that Yang Cheng possessed in his past life!

"I can't believe that my strength has already reached such a point… And this is merely after around half a day of using the system…"

He had disbelief etched across his face, as he had no clue what he had done in his past life to deserve such fortune!

He suddenly paused in his tracks after getting far enough away and smacked his head to the ground with an extremely grateful expression on his face as he shouted, "Thank you very much, Infinite Evolution System! I promise to pay this favor back a thousandfold! Just wait until that day, and I promise you won't regret it!"
