Elena stood in her mother's kitchen staring at the chicken casserole that was on the kitchen island.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" She asked Gemma who was on the other side of the phone.
"Yes, he loves casserole, and Mama always says the surest way to a man's heart is through his stomach," Gemma said with enthusiasm.
Elena stared strangely at the phone that was in her hand like she could actually see Gemma.
"You've never believed in that."
Gemma sighed. "Yeah, but that doesn't mean it's not true. Elena, I think you should do this, what is the worst thing that could happen?"
"You really want me to answer that? Because I can come up with several worst things that could actually happen. He could…"
"All right, don't answer that." Gemma quickly said. "Bernal likes casserole, you like Bernal. So go and give him the casserole."
