What now?

Thousand... no several hundreds of thousands of black demons were running towards him. Each of them were horrifying beyond human comprehension.

Fear sent shivers down Rafael's spine as his heartbeat started to increase.

'Why does heaven hate me so much?'

Realizing the severity of the situation, Rafael knew he had to run with everything he had.

It was that, either he reaches the black dot first or these guys get to him.

He ran while praying that he would reach the black dot before these behemoths got to him. Sweat covered his body as he ran with everything he had.

Meanwhile, an eye opened somewhere, surrounded by ever-lasting darkness. The eye was impossibly large. Filled with rage and fury.

The eye which was emitting a huge amount of rage and fury, suddenly got filled with hope as it looked in a certain direction.

As Rafael darted forward towards the black rock with everything he had. He suddenly heard the sounds of thunder.

'A storm is coming'

Rafael's heart trembled with fear as he fruitlessly tried to come up with some tricks to evade the situation.

'That's it? Am I going to end up like others?'

Hopelessness emerged in Rafael's mind as sounds of roars covered the skies.

Through the black clouds, several hundreds of black dragons emerged. Flying with absolute might.

As the black dragons came into view, Rafael realized that he had no hope. He could've evaded the behemoths following him but Dragons? Isn't that too much?

Realizing what was about to happen, instead of slowing down. Rafael's speed increased. Pain covered his body as Rafael overworked himself to the limit.

With the storm clouds covering the sky, the sunlight from the red sun dimmed as a cold twilight descended upon this seemingly endless world.

For Rafael, this twilight was going the most harsh twilight ever.

Rafael's face, who was on the run, was pale as snow while apprehension covered his face. The moment he stopped was the moment his eternal torture began. Just that thought alone drove him to run faster.

Even a moment of hesitation on his side would be akin to suicide.

As he was darting forward with all of his might, heavy rain started to descend on these traumatic lands. Strong winds howled, sending bits of molten solid rock into the air.

Rafael was running with all his might, as his life depended on it. However, the difference was something worse was waiting for him if he didn't.

However, no matter how fast Rafael was moving, the army of behemoths were much faster. The rain quickly turned into a cloudburst, each drop was heavy and came splashing into the ground.

As hopelessness surged through his heart. Rafael, who was already running as his tears were betrayed by the rain. Suddenly felt something he absolutely could not afford to give thought to.

Exhaustion.

Extreme Exhaustion.

Little did Rafael realize, due to him being awake for so long while also being immortal in these lands where he simply cannot die and be tortured endlessly. Exhaustion was still a thing.

The Exhaustion Rafael felt was so great that if not for the fact that those guys would not kill him but torture him. He would've given up.

'I cannot stop no matter what' Rafael thought as the roaring wind hit him in the face.

He was already on his limit. Yet this exhaustion had to come in the worst of times.

Realizing what had just happened. Instead of slowing, he sped up. He knew his exhaustion would eventually force him onto the ground so at the very least, he could just cover as much distance as possible.

To delay the inevitable.

As Rafael ran once again with all his might. The several powerful roars that he was hearing, even in this immense storm, started to fade out.

'That's not right, is it? I mean why would the roars stop suddenly?' Rafael thought in confusion as he continued to run in exhaustion.

After some time, exhaustion came with thirst and hunger. The fatigue that had built up due to this started to overwhelm him.

All in all, a blinding bolt of lightning tore through the rain, followed by the deafening sound of thunder.

Seconds passed, with seconds, hours passed.

Silence.

After quite a while of running, Rafael finally came to a stop. The storm was still continuing as lightning occasionally tore through the skies.

However, that was it. No sounds of monstrous dragons the size of a skyscraper nor any behemoths in the distance.

It was as if, they had vanished from the surface of existence.

Rafael who had run quite a while, thought about this, maybe it was a trap? or maybe it's not? In the end, the best option was to continue running. However, the fatigue and exhaustion that he had been bearing finally came to him, tearing him apart inwardly.

Pain was felt in all parts of his body as his legs had grown numb due to all that horrendous amount of running.

As Rafael halted, he crashed into the ground. However, his eyes widened in surprise as he realized, the ground was not the molten solid rock anymore, it was sand. Wet mud and sand...

This made him quite confused, this whole place was either filled with lava or molten solid rock. Nothing more or less.

Rafael took a sigh of relief as he thought about this. According to him, if he has run to the point that molten rocks have stopped appearing.

It would only mean he has run quite far.

A smile of relief appeared on his face as he lay down on the wet sand in the downpour of the rain.

'I am safe!'

Happiness surged through him as he thought he finally got away from them. However, Rafael suddenly froze on the spot.

"Smiling in hell? Now that's quite a sight to see!"

Suddenly a hoarse voice echoed throughout the dimension. The ground beneath Rafael trembled as the sounds of something huge walking could be seen in the distance.

Each footstep, that the mysterious voice took, would make a sound akin to a meteor crashing into these lands.

It was as if a god had descended on these lands. No, after seeing God, Rafael would say that this mysterious behemoth is something that nothing could compare to. Included God.

A surge of aura came crashing into these lands, blowing bits of sand and mud away. It was so strong that Rafael felt his ribs breaking while blood flowed from his eyes and mouth.

As Rafael was frozen. A deep mix of emotions surged into him. Regret, Sorrow, fear and so on.

As Rafael was contemplating. An impossibly large eye suddenly came into view. It was so great that Rafael had seen nothing so big before.

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say, that this eye alone was bigger than the planet earth itself.

'What now?'

I wonder if anyone even likes the stupidity im spewing here hahaha.
