17. Constituent Assembly: First Meeting

15 August, 1947, Delhi, India

Today every Indian is breathing in a new free and independent India. After being released from jail and getting ready for the speech at red fort the first person I met with was Hakim. He gave me a brief report on what happened in the 9 months I have been in jail while traveling towards Red Fort. When he told me about partition my thoughts were 'So they have taken the bait.'

After reaching the red fort all the events started like parade, patriotic songs, National anthem after this I gave a motivational speech on how we will rise again and achieve our previous wealth, status in the world and all that in many languages of all over India I went to PMO to start my work in earnest.

I met with representatives of the country that came to India on this occasion. When Mountbatten tried to meet me he was immediately denied and escorted outside. Now we have a lot of work to do because of these British.

First thing, deal with the message created by Britain, well the one I let them create and set up some ground rule for how we will work. So, next day I went to the constitutional assembly meeting and organised some ground rules for all.

"Everyone, I welcome you to the first session of constituent assembly of independent India. Now we all have a lot of work to deal with so I will come straight to the topic.

Firstly, I openly condemn Hindu Mahasabha for bootlicking the British during Quit India movement and trying to induce riots by spreading extremism along with Muslim League when people were dieing and me and my party was working day and night to deal with Bengal famine.

So from now on no party is allowed to use religion, caste or community in their party name or in their promotion campaign.

Second, no recognition of Pakistan. The moment it attacks us and believe me that they will as they can't tolerate any other religion around them, it will be wiped out of the face of earth.

No princely states will be allowed to join with illegal Pakistan despite what British may have told. No money will be released to them, army personnel who sides with Pakistan will be declared terrorist. There will be no trade with this so called Pakistan.

Third, Indian borders and map.

From now on this the map of India encompassing all of British India, Sri Lanka, Lakshdweep, Andaman and Nicobar and Maldives islands and Burma.

Fourth, there will be no official language of India for now. We have already created a language from major language and it will be taught in all schools as secondary language till it became common in every state and than bharathi will be declared as the official language of India.

Fifth, states will be devided on linguistic majority. I am not talking about dialects of same language but language from where this language emerged. They will still have to meet some conditions discussed later but linguist majority is the main component.

Sixth, no foreign media is allowed to work in India and spread their propoganda. A complete ban will be issued on foreign media. Our own national media will be started soon for news and entertainment. While media is free to report anything but everything should be backed by facts and they are not allowed to blame one community for something, another community for something else. Like Muslim men killed Hindu men or vice versa.

Seventh, stopping all raw resource export. We will not export any resource raw until and unless we sign some deal with individual country. We have almost every resource in the world except oil and for that we will deals with USSR, USA and Arabian countries. But with other countries we will only supply finished and semi finished goods.

Eighth, complete sanction on countries like Britain, France, Portuguese and Dutch. All those who are occupying our territory or exploited us extensively in past and present will be sanctioned. Soon a official letter will be sent to the Portuguese and British to leave all our territory or face consequences.

Ninth, we will only join the UN as a permanent member or will not join at all. We can't let them have power in our internal matters. They are our own problems which we will take care of ourself. If we join as normal member than they will either supress us or create more issues for us.

Tenth, we will have partnership, friendship but no military alliance. We will not support any war that doesn't concern us.

And last, princely states have three options join with Pakistan but you will be declared as India' enemy, join India and enjoy the privileges of royalty like privy purse, no need to maintain army. Or stay independent but the moment you become friendly with our enemies or countries sanctioned as we consider them our enemies as well you will be liberated."

Today's meeting ended with some protest from Congress and some parties over some policies like Pakistan, giving princely right to choose etc but I didn't budge and every one was silenced after throwing the illegality of their occupation of the land on their face. I have to say that I expected more protest from other parties but maybe the current politicians were actually concerned about India and want to seriously develop it.

After this I went to the PMO and gave all the blueprints of all the arms and defence technology I created along with all the necessary technology like communication, resource exploration, extraction and processing technology, etc. to their respective departments and ministries. These technology saved India from being left behind by years in technology.

Soon declarations from princely states started coming the first were my in laws and their allies and seeing them others also declared to be a part of India.
