NIGHT CLASS

NORA'S POV

2 months had gone by and exams were dancing closer and closer,for us freshers,the tension could literally kill,this was our first ever exam in the university,dem nor born us well if by mistake we fail.

most students went to school to read at night,UNIBEN was always busy,both at night and during the day, almost every class in the school was filled at night with alot of students and let me tell you,they are thousands

of students.

And that was how tessa,mercy and I found our way to our classroom to read at night,mercy came to the hostel from her off campus lodge at about 7:30 and we went to class around 9pm,now allow me segregate the different type of people that come to night class for you okay?

we have the sleepers,these ones come to class and sleep till the next morning,and then repeat the same thing tomorrow,next we have the jackophytes,these ones read from the minute they sit down to the minute they get up,then we have the gist mates,these ones would just roam around and gist till their hearts content then go rest their head and sleep till the next morning,we also have the I-cannot-come-and-kill-myself squad,now this is where I proudly fall in,here we read,gist and also sleep,we are a mixture of all 3,we also have the foodies,these ones come to eat to their heart satisfaction,I would have been in this group but I don't have money to waste and last but not the least how can we forget our beloved horny students,these ones came for one thing and one thing only,to get laid,to release or just flirt around,fear them,I repeat fearrrr them o.

now that we have all gotten acquainted with the various students that go to night class,let me continue,mercy,tessa and I soon started reading and occasionally had light conversations,night class wasn't so bad right?

I felt a nudge from mercy

hanty wetin again? I asked her

"osas is here"

ooh God,night class gone wrong

"once he notices you,you know he will definitely come over" tessa adds

And true enough omo lomo came to say hi some 5 minutes later

"see them babes,how are you girls na"

"bros bros we are fine o" mercy replied

"osas anything for the girls"tessa said

tessa will you just shut up, I say in my head

"haa,you girls shouldn't worry, I'll treat you guys soon,I just came to steal nora away for awhile"

"haa,biko we dash you,carry her" tessa said

gee thanks guys,I feel so loved

knowing osas he's really really persistent! I decided to just follow omo lomo

when we got outside the class we found chairs to sit on under the trees

"so nora,how long are you going to punish me"he started

I laughed

"I don't understand you"

"please be my girlfriend nau, laowowo"

"but we already talked about this,why Cant you let it go"

"I'm just so scared of another guy stealing you away"

"epa,I am not an object"

"I know,but nora please,you are so innocent and cute,I cant loose you"

stories! I repeat stories that touches the soul

Before I could even reply him,oga was already covering the little space between us,I stood up and went to relax near a tree.

he just laughed really hard "are you that afraid of me nora?"

I just smiled,"no I am not I just wanted more air"

LIE! but omo lomo doesn't need to know that

He still walked towards me again,what was his problem this night?

"nora relax" he all but cajoled

I decided to see what he was up to,wrong wrong idea!

although I was uncomfortable with the invasion of my personal space and all,I was a bit calm because he didn't try anything,we just made light conversations,then his ancestors decided to use him again,and not in a good way...

"nora you are so beautiful" he said,coming to stand directly in front of me,my heart beat was slowly picking up and then he closed the distance

that's it! I had to speak up

"guy what is wrong with you,move away you are invading my personal space"

but I think he had an invisible headset on that was jamming music at its loudest volume because he didn't seem like he heard a thing I just said

you remember that thing I said about my heart beat slowly picking up? well the heart is dancing to very fast afro pop beat now

I was too engrossed with my own dancing heart and I didn't notice osas move in to meet my lips with his,I turned my face at the last moment and it landed on my cheek

"osas! oya it's ok,stop I don't feel comfortable"

seems like he was still wearing that his stupid invincible headset

he started to feel me up amidst my struggles,and it seemed the struggles were like fuel to an already blazing fire.

I was really scared,he was placing kisses on my neck,and I felt utterly and truly disgusted,can't anyone stop him? And then it hit me,it was dark,we were kind of alone and even if anyone did see,they'd just think we were the horny couple having a quickie or something

I managed to push him away,and gave him as much distance as possible.

"How dare you?! I cannot believe you osas! I thought you were my friend?"

"nora I thought you really wanted it,but you were too shy,nora please am so sorry,I didn't know"

"oh please! save it,stay away from me" I shouted and walked away,

osas tried running after me,but his mini him (who by the way isn't too mini right now) didn't let him,so he let me go

I stormed back to class and found my friends already sprawled on the chairs fast asleep,I wiped my tears and just poured my anger on my books,reading and reading till my girls woke up at about 4 and we went to bath and sleep in the hostel,I scrubbed myself extra hard hoping it would get the filth off me,I intended to just keep yesterday's experience to myself and move on.
