BOOM!
"Must be raining pretty hard out there..." A young man who was oddly covered in blood said. He stopped looking up at the ceiling and returned to what he was doing before.
"Too bad I can't collect any souvenirs, you'd look amazing on my shelf..." The young man sighed as he finished cutting up the body of a young woman. He took one last peep at her I.D. before a vicious smile grew on his face.
"The young idol who took the world by storm, Mikami-Kami. Oh, how will the world react when they find your body parts spread across Japan like an easter egg hunt!!" The young man laughed manically momentarily before cutting her I.D. into pieces and melting the plastic. He then cut that glob of plastic into pieces and repeated the process 3 more times until he had a glob of white plastic.
"Now then, to place the body parts. I'll put her head in Shibuya, her legs in Osaka, her feet in Kyoto, her hands in Saitama, her torso can go to her agency, and her arms I'll let the fish eat those. Let's get this show on the road!" The young man known as Shiryo said as he clapped his hands excitedly until his phone rang.
"Oh, it's my mother." Shiryo said as he picked up the phone, "Hello."
"Shiryo! Where are you? Don't you have exams in the morning?" Shiryo's mother scolded and Shiryo held the bridge of his nose and sighed internally, "Don't worry Mom, I'm just in Tokyo with a few friends, I promise I'll be home within the next hour."
"Alright, you've got one hour then. Be safe, love you, bye!" His mother said before hanging up the phone. The genuine smile on Shiryo's face slowly washed away as he pulled out another phone from his back pocket.
"Kotaro, I have a task for you." Shiryo's tone was void of emotion yet at the same time, incredibly condescending.
"I need you to-" Shiryo was cut off due to the fact that an object just pierced his heart. Shiryo dropped the phone and collapsed onto the ground.
"BLEGH!" Shiryo threw up a lethal amount of blood and his mind was running rampant.
'What the hell?! Was I discovered?! Did someone connected to one of my victims hire an assassin to kill me?! But even then, how could they link the murders to me?! I've made sure to keep Shiryo and The Owl totally separate! SO HOW IN THE WORLD WAS I CAUGHT?!!'
Shiryo's vision began to blur and his body grew colder. The sound of the rain grew louder and Shiryo inched closer to death he said his final words, "Sorry...Mom..."
Shiryo's heart finally stopped beating and he laid on the cold concrete asleep in death. Until a red beam of energy came out of Shiryo's chest. The beam shot straight up into the sky and opened a ginormous red portal, yet nothing went into this portal and nothing came out of it. Hell, it wasn't even visible to the human eye.
Until Shiryo's body began to float. Like he was being resurrected, Shiryo's body floated toward the portal and he was sucked into it, going through countless dimensions and universes until Shiryo crashed-landed in upstate New York.
Shiryo was still very much dead until a red pulse shot throughout his body.
"BLEGH!" Shiryo threw up everything that was in his stomach and more residual blood in his esophagus. He looked around at the burnt and destroyed trees before looking at his hands.
"Am I not dead? I could've sworn someone shot me straight through the heart, so what gives? Why am I in a forest? Where is this forest even at? Am I on Earth?" Shiryo paced in circles asking himself these questions. Shiryo looked at the spot where he was "shot" and saw scar tissue instead of an open wound.
"So I was shot, healed, and brought to a random forest? I hope this isn't some sort of game, I would hate to ruin the GM's fun with my overwhelming skills," Shiryo laughed to himself before examining his former wound even closer.
"This scar tissue is...odd to say the least. I don't think bullets make scars look like dragons..." Shiryo's scar over his heart was in the shape of a coiled dragon. Figuring this out along with waking up in a random forest after his supposed death, Shiryo began to wonder if something supernatural was at play.
'You're very correct child, bullets do not make scars look like dragons..' A voice echoed throughout Shiryo's mind and although the average person would be spooked, Shiryo tried to hold in his laughter.
"Dude, you don't have to talk like that, and stop trying to make your voice deeper," Shiryo laughed as the voice in his head grumbled.
"I'll have you know, I am NOT DEEPENING MY VOICE!!" The voice in his head said as it made its voice deeper.
"AHAAHHAHAHAHA, YOU'RE TOO FUNNY MAN!" Shiryo was on the ground crying in laughter. Until he felt something bite his leg.
"Ouch, what the hell...WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!!" Shiryo yelled as he jumped back from whatever bit him. Shiryo was looking at a two-headed mystery beast, one head was a lion and the other a red-scaled dragon. It had the body of a goat, the feet of an eagle, the wings of a dragon, and a spiked tail.
'Greetings you ungrateful human! I am the voice you made fun of, Gensha, the Chimera Sin Beast of Pride!'
"Cool name, but why are you so small Chimichanga?" Shiryo asked the house-cat-sized beast. He tried to pet it but Gensha snapped his jaws at him, 'Do not try to pet me you ingrate! You should be bowing and rejoicing that I, Gensha, have blessed you with my presence!!'
"You're Chimi and this one is Changa." Shiryo pointed at the lion head and then the dragon head, "I'm guessing the one spewing all of this nonsense is Chimi, I can tell because he's looking at me weird..."
'DO NOT TRY TO CHANGE MY...err...OUR NAME LIKE THAT YOU WASTE OF SPACE!!' Gensha, or rather, Chimi exclaimed and roared.
"Is he always like this?" Shiryo asked Changa who nodded, 'I apologize for his actions, it's been decades since we've last spoken to someone other than ourselves. You're actually the very first host who differentiated us by name.'
"I feel honored!! But what do you mean by host?" Shiryo asked, 'The very reason you died and were transported here was because of us. As the stupid lion stated previously, we are Gensha, the Chimera Sin Beast of Pride. There are six other Sin Beasts and together we make up the being, Lucifer.'
'We were split apart by that wretched old man you low-life beings call, 'God'. God couldn't be further from his name, he is a power-hungry old man who can't fathom another person being King of Heaven, even if it means casting out his own creation!' Chimi exclaimed with rage.
'Yes, as the lion said, we were once part of a higher being but God was getting nervous at our rapid increase in strength and therefore casted us out of Heaven and made it seem like we were starting a rebellion, turning our brothers and sisters against us! I'm getting a bit emotional, my apologies. Anyway, God wanted to make sure we NEVER become whole again so he split the 7 Sin Beasts into 15 different fragments and sent us sprawling across the multiverse.'
"I see, I see, but that doesn't explain what happened to me," Shiryo stated.
'Inside of your heart is a fragment of us, the Sin Beast of Pride. What happened to you was simply chance but now you need us and we begrudgingly need you as well.' Changa said with annoyance.
"I need you? You need me? Explain."
'When our fragment pierced your heart, which was an accident because the stupid lion can't drive, it did massive damage. Although the life of a human means nothing, I felt responsible for your early death because I let the lion drive, so we gathered all of our remaining energy to create a Binding Vow or at least that was the plan. Your body is oddly unique as it consumed our energy like a baby would its mother's milk and at an alarming pace. To save our lives and yours, we reluctantly decided to perform a procedure called Soul Weaving. To put it simply, we are your heart and also your soul. If you die we die and vice versa.' Changa explained.
Shiryo sat in silence for a moment before laughing, "So that means Chimichanga and Shiryo became the ultimate duo then? Or is it a trio?"
'No!'
'No.'
Shiryo rolled his eyes, "You guys are no fun..."
