Chapter 9

Now, how should I go about this? As I had been expelled from New Bostin High, I needed to find a new school.

Up until now, excluding my rather high level, I had basically followed canon.

Of course, I could go about it in a different way, try and get accepted in to Agwin or another prestigious place outside of Wellston, but here was the thing; currently Vaughn was the best headmaster there could be. He allowed the original me to lie about his true strength, something other headmasters would never have done in a million years.

He was also a very tolerant man, as shown when John had entered his tyranical phase, basically allowing him to do as he pleased, I forgot why though. He even permitted thing such as the safe house to exist. 

This was why Wellston was infact the best possible option I could think of with my current knowledge. 

There were obviously other factors here and there; I could meet the main cast, and gain their support, and maybe help them improve their abilities, those abilities being very powerful to say the least. Especially since they were very loyal, if I remember correctly. 

Seraphina and Arlo are probably the most difficult to deal with inside the main cast, at this point in time at the very least. Seraphina at the moment is basically a sad perfectionist brainwashed ice-queen that wanted to live up to the expectations imposed on her.

Whilst Arlo or should I say Asslo was obsessed with his hierarchy due to his aunts influence.

Vigilantisme was also something I wanted to think about.

Since my goal is to basically be free from the bureau.

Being a discreet vigilante was a must for me. My goal was to eliminate the unnecessary cruelty that low-tiers and even some mid- tiers in their respective districts suffer from at the hands of higher tiered people or power hungry criminals that got a shortcut to power in the form of experimental amplifiers.

Crippling the distribution of these amplifiers was also a priority, as demonstrated by Blyke's fight with Lennon.

These amplifiers could turn a 6.0 god tier into someone who could even brawl with me. Such a terrifing tool had to be caught and destroyed before it got out of hand. The worst about this ( at least for me) was that is was most likely a result of experiments on my mom.

I could even make a 'gang' of sorts to control the areas I save and maybe... just maybe if my ability allows it, to try and amplify those low tiers powers to instigate an uprising like those buffs in video games.

If Ember and NXgen could do it with samples of my mom's DNA, why couldn't I?

(The next day)

"Dad since I got expelled I was thinking about getting into some other High School far from here so that I can try and hide my past from them. You know... one where grades matter the most. What do you think?" I proposed.

"The headmaster will definitely know since he had to review your folder, you do realise that right." The man indicated.

"Yeah, but I could ask him to keep it a secret. It won't hurt right?" I responded

"I guess not. Very well, do you have a certain place in mind?"

"Well... yeah, You know Wellston high right? I found it on the internet,"

"Nope not really," He answered

"It's pretty far from here and it's basically the most prestigious school in its region with the highest leveled ability users. Besides, they got a pretty tough entrance exam or so I heard. So I mean... I guess they value grades over everything? That's how it works right?" I tried convincing him.

I couldn't just pull random information out of my ass like the fact that the headmaster was very likeable man. So I just needed to convince him the old reasons the original wanted to enroll there.

"I honestly think that Wellston high school could be the very thing I need. A fresh start away from here. What do you think?" I questioned.

"Well, why don't you tell me more about it later, at dinner for example. Speaking of which, what do you say we get a drink, maybe an ice cream to go with that. It is pretty hot today," he proposed.

"You said it was a decent distance from here right?"

"...Yeah," I confirmed

"So you wanna leave your old man here alone huh?" He laughed. "I guess it's about time you started living on your own."

I'll call you, it's not like we will be unable to contact each other right?" I stated.

"No no you're right, I mean it is your education and you will need that first hand experience being alone. Just know that if you need any advice I'm here, okay?"

"...Thanks Dad,"
