Chapter 24: Supplies

Six AM.

Second who had originally slept was slowly waking up and as his eyes were still blurry, he saw like a figure In front of him.

"Hmmm, David! "

Still a bit sleepy, second looks at David and proceeds to ask him.

"Haaaaaaa, what are you doing here? "

"You slept, so I took watch. "

"I slept. "

Second looks at David and proceeds to shake his head and he looked less asleep.

"I told them not to assign me. "

Muttering under his breath, second was going to lie down again as he was still sleepy when.

"Wake up, we are heading out soon. "

The other soldiers were in front of him and all of them had their weapons with them.

"Six minutes. "

Second tries to sleep again, but is Interrupted once more, this time one of them stood him up.

"Wake up, if you don't we will leave you here. "

As though a scared cat, second immediately stretches his body and stands up.

"I'm done. "

Not thinking anything else, he carries his gun and holds it.

"David can you lead the way. "

The eldest proceeds to look at David and seek him to lead the whole group to find supplies.

"Okay. "

Not saying anything else, David proceeds to stand up and heads to the entrance.

"I saw a house that I think should have a lot of supplies when we were coming here. "

David after getting the leadership position shows that he is a good leader.

"Let's go then. "

After agreeing, all of them proceeds to run but a huge problem is caused when David goes too far from them.

"We can't keep up. "

The soldiers were pushing themselves to the limit but they couldn't keep up with him.

"I will go alone and you guys can search other houses yourselves. "

Not turning back, David shouts at them and then proceeds to run north at an even faster speed.

"So where should we go, as I know a suitable house. "

"Okay. "

The soldiers were feeling depressed but they quickly got over it and headed to the house said by one of the soldiers.

Meanwhile they were talking, David already started bursting Into houses after houses while trying to be sneaky.

Originally it was a good idea but there were zombies that were trapped inside and after he entered, they attacked.

It was easy for him to kill them but there was a particularly muscular zombie that was hard for him to kill.

David decided to just run on the open, it was easier to deal with a group of zombies than a stronger zombie.

So now, a wave of zombies were chasing behind him while attracting more and more zombies from the area.

"Time to get rid of you. "

All the zombies behind him were purposely attracted by him so he could finally level up.

"Kkkkkk. "

The head of one of the zombies was broken with a punch from David, and like that he was totally covered in blood.

"Will you dry clean this for me. "

Not even thinking of the fact that the zombies did not really think, David gets angry and the blood start raining.

Passing this zombie david runs through the zombies and finds one, he then proceeds to smash it's head on the ground.

"Dumm. "

"You all mine. "

Not something you would normally say during a battle, David proceeds to put aside his blade shout and then punches other zombies.

"Haaaaaaa. "

If this zombies could sue people, they would surely sue this crazy guy who breaks head for no good reason.

Even with all the blood getting on his clothes and body, David did not slow down and the results were showing.

[Level Up]

Even though it was one level up, it was still better compared to when he couldn't level up even after he killed so many.

"Roarrrrrrr. "

As David was slaughtering the zombies, a different zombie shows itself.

Unlike other goblins, this goblin had a big stomach and it was actually green in colour, it starts running at David.

At first David was not really concerned about it but after it came too close to him, he striked it.

"Powp. "

After he cut through it suddenly it exploded, David tries to dodge but some of it landed on his sword and it started sizzling.

"Acid, seriously! "

While it was acid, it unexpectedly didn't have any effect at all on the blade, the symbols all were the same without even a scratch.

"I have to be more careful. "

Reminding himself David kills the remaining zombies and heads on his way to the house he had seen when he was going to the prison.

"Finally. "

The six soldiers were not as strong as David, so they had to be even more cautious.

After searching more than six houses, they had just about enough to last them for some months.

"So should we head back. ?

"I think we should enter that supermarket. "

One of the soldiers proposes but the idea is turned down.

"No, we need to keep food for the survivors and this is enough to last us for a while. "

Four soldiers agree with him but there soldier who proposed it was still adarment.

"We need to take as much food as possible, we are no longer soldiers and we should stop acting like one's. "

"We might no longer be soldiers but we still have the duty to protect the citizens. "

"I don't care, either we loot the supermarket or I do it with David. "

"Hey, are you guys done. ?

The soldiers were arguing but are interrupted by a voice behind them, David was carrying some big bag and waving at them.

"I heard everything, know this I just want to live a stable life without being interrupted by anybody or anything. "

"So, you can stop arguing, I'm going to look for a place to stay with my dog. "

Sorry guys, I was writing another novel and I'm planning to end this novel in chapter 40 and I'm really sorry for not publishing.

I know I have not been able to make it good so sorry for it.
