After a long time of traveling across the omniverse, working under good, MC finally gets his reward... Sadly even after hundreds of years of work, MC has a new job, the overseer of the Justice League.
Wonder Woman shot off the island, clashing with First Born before he could near the island, First Born was indeed powerful, as not many could make Wonder Woman bleed. But adding the power she had tapped into, on top of the fact she could use magic now... well, First Born quickly found himself being forced back with every blow they traded.
This enraged First Born who realized that he couldn't win today, and luckily for First Born Ares was more than happy to join the battle to help First Born. But that wasn't enough, as the weakened Ares couldn't do much before the current Wonder Woman.
But Ares wasn't here to defeat her, but to convince First Born to flee and join him... and of course, the two escaped, disappearing with the help of Klarion, leaving Wonder Woman enraged, but she could do nothing about that now. She instead turned her attention to her sisters who were turned into stone,
"You need help?" Wonder Woman paused seeing me appear next to her, she looked at me for some time before realizing I had been watching the whole time.
"What? Males are not seen well here, I don't want you to get into trouble because of me. That's why I'm only an illusion. Plus, not just anyone could defeat my future wife." I said with a smile, to which Wonder Woman nodded gratefully,
"Don't worry, my people are not that foolish to not thank their benefactor... but if you can turn them back, it would be for the best." Wonder Woman said to which I shook my head. Although I could, one has to remember the fact I just helped Supergirl. There was also the fact I just 'regained' my ability to use magic. I can't go overboard and keep using so many of my abilities.
"I can't do it from where I am at, and since I can't step on the island. Give me some time to rest, I will be able to restore them to normal from here," I said to which Wonder Woman paused for a good second before shaking her head.
"They could fall over at any time, I will take any punishment they might lash out upon me." Wonder Woman said with a smile, making me frown for waiting wasn't a big problem. I could even restore them if they were damaged.
"You know I could fix them if they are damaged?" I asked in confusion, to which Wonder Woman cursed deep down.
'Can't he tell I'm trying to paint him in a good light before my mother?' She was speechless by this
"This is the perfect way to introduce you to my mother." Wonder Woman said helplessly, making my eyes widen
"Why didn't you just say that sooner?" I asked speechless with how she couldn't just come out and say such a thing. I wasn't good with picking up hints, yes I lived for 5 million years, but that was years of me running around working and not talking to people. I didn't even do much, I simply used the tools god gave me to fly around fixing what needed to be fixed. My experience with humans was low, sure I had 3 templates, but I didn't use them to live my life, but to improve my capability. I didn't want to change who I was to orbit around the three templates. I was living my life, and it was perfect as it was.
But with that, my illusion turned real as I switched places with the illusion. I took Diana's hand, and we flew to Themyscira, where I went on to use the Magic Eyes of Destruction to nullify the curse placed on everyone there, turning them back to their human form.
"That's new," Diana said while looking at my eyes which had a strange symbol within.
"They are the magic eyes of destruction, they can nullify all magic I look at so long as I have enough magical energy," I said calmly... and that was partly a lie. But I couldn't let the world know just how overpowered I was.
"Diana..." Diana's mother was a beautiful blonde-haired woman. She had a godly charm to her, and currently, she was looking at both of me and Diana with a complex look. She saw everything that had happened even while turned into stone,
"Mother this is my boyfriend, he came to help turn you all back," Diana said lightly, Hippolyta sighed lightly while looking at me. To that, I bowed lightly to my future mother-in-law to show my respect.
Hippolyta closed her eyes, not knowing what to do. The rules said she had to banish her daughter, but that didn't sit right with her... while she was going through conflicts, I was busy looking at the females.
'Not all of them are immortal, this should be the universe where they have to rape people to keep their numbers up.' I thought calmly, there were many versions of Themyscira across the universe. In some universes, the females were all immortal, while others were not immortal.
So, if they are not immortal, they have to rape males before killing them, following which they would birth the children. If the children are males, they will sell them for resources while keeping the females.
After looking around, and taking a quick look into the past, I spoke into Diana's ear.
"Your sisters seem to be hypocrites," I said lightly, stunning Diana who looked at me with a serious look that ordered me to explain. So, I just tapped her forehead and showed her a scene where her sister got on a ship, forced themselves on males before killing them, and what they went on to do with the males.
"I don't know, at least 99% of people in the outside world are more peaceful compared to this, but this is understandable. This island lives in the past, of course, its ideas are in the past." I said lightly, while Diana stood there frozen before she turned an enraged glare towards her mother.
But I held her hand, I only showed her that because It was the right thing to do. If I had kept that secret, it would have meant that I was keeping secrets, which isn't a healthy thing to do. But I didn't want her to act on her emotions.
"... What did you tell her?" Hippolyta asked seeing how quickly Diana's mood changed. She wasn't alone as all of the Amazons threw glares at me,
"... how does the women on this island get pregnant?" Diana asked in a low and shaky voice, and as soon as her voice fell, the reaction of everyone there was more than enough to answer her.
"You call the men's world barbarians, yet you jump on them like barbarians, taking their seeds by force and then killing them? Not even the newborn children are spared?" Diana slapped my hand away, she wasn't going to calm down, not with a matter like this.
"Diana..." Hippolyta wanted to explain, but she didn't know the right words to explain. Wasn't it a blessing to those males to get to enjoy a night with an Amazon before their death?
"I lived in the men's world for about a year now, and all the teaching you taught me is just outdated. You are all living in the past, you are all the barbarians... let's go." Diana said while throwing them all a disgusted glare before grabbing me, wanting to leave.
"I think you should try and understand things from their point of view..." I said but as Diana glared at me, I changed my mind.
"Never mind." And with that, she grabbed my arm, and shot into the sky, ignoring Hippolyta's cries for her to hear them out.
On the flight home, it was quiet... until Diana broke the silence with a heavy voice.
"... Should I have listened to them? I know how they think, but I was so blind to the fact we were the barbarian." She said, my eyes landed on the teardrop which fell towards the sea below.
"Like how the men's world had changed, so could the Amazons change, the first step to any form of change is to listen and understand," I said lightly, to which she glared at me, allowing me to see her tears.
"You're saying what they did made it any less forgivable? How many lost their lives, how many children grew up without a family? How many sailors had someone at home waiting for them?" She said through gritted teeth.
"A lot... but you also have to understand they lived in the era of the gods. An era influenced by beings like Zeus, Hera, and many others. They didn't live amongst the rest of the world, so they never grew up amongst them, they never had their mindset change, so their point of view is just not up to date... but you can be that bridge, allowing them to connect to the modern world so they could start catching up." I said leaving Diana stunned for a moment.
"And if you don't speak to your mother and this destroys your relationship, I will feel guilty," I said lightly, to which she closed her eyes for some time, before sighing.
"I'm too angry to see her right now... and I forgot Medusa... oh, thanks," Diana said lightly seeing Medusa was floating behind us.
"No problem, anything for my future wife." Diana blushed lightly, before speaking.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to glare at you like that," Diana said to which I waved it off.
"I'm not the best person when it comes to reading the room... or reading people's goals when they are not aiming harm towards me... or picking the right words. But I find it more and more easy to read you, and that's all that matters." I said with a smile, making her pull me into her arms and she hugged me tightly...
