Kevan glanced down, then at Craig. “Trying to seduce me?”

“Not right now. I’d like to get where we’re going in one piece.” He gave Kevan’s thigh a quick squeeze before withdrawing his hand. “Later? Well, we’ll see what happens.”

“Wow,” Kevan said, his eyes widening in surprise.

Craig waggled a finger at him. “I said, we’ll see. Not that tonight’s the night we move beyond hugging to anything more.”

“You already have. You’ve kissed me, as brief as it was.”

“I’m pretty sure I’ll improve on that, at least.”

“Something to look forward to.” They were nearing the dock, so Kevan turned into the same lot they’d used the last time, driving up one aisle and down the next, looking for a parking space. “We should have been here half an hour ago,” he grumbled.

“Around here, I don’t think that would have made a darned bit of…There.” Craig pointed.

A car was pulling out. Kevan waited, then swooped into the spot before anyone else could. “And Martel for the win,” he crowed.
