Chapter 29

“You have…? Never mind. You’re teasing again.”

“Yeah, I am. But not about the cruise, with dinner. So deal.”

Craig hugged him. “I think I can, since it’s you who’s offering.”

“Good.” Kevan hugged him back, quite enthusiastically, before they continued on to where Craig had parked his car. “Now go home and get some sleep.”

“Yeah, I know. Work, tomorrow.”

“You love what you do,” Kevan replied, smiling.

“True. I’ll see you Sunday.” They’d decided to meet at the art museum at three, giving Craig time to do his usual Sunday chores, and then go out to eat afterward.

“Yep. And be on time.”

Craig laughed. “That’s my line.”

“Well, damn. So it is.” Kevan grinned, hugged him again, then left, going to where he’d parked, a few cars down from Craig.

I’m hooked on him. Craig smiled to himself. And I love it.
