4.Childhood

Minato could have sealed the Ninetails back into Kushina saving her and himself if he used some different kind of seal. If he couldn't, he could have sealed the fox inside himself or any other person from the village using different method and not sacrificing both himself, his wife and also make his child suffer. Kushina didn't agree to it as she already knew the consequences of his action, but she was already at deaths door and couldn't do anything to stop Minato who was ready to sacrifice everything for the village.

By her experience, Kushina also didn't trust the third Hokage to take care of Naruto, but she had no choice but to beg for his help and hope the village would not hurt her child. She didn't trust the village unconditionally like Minato. She also knew how they made her life miserable at the start when she was a child spreading a rumour that she was an outsider and bullied her. After she became the Jinchuriki, and Mito's death, many tried to control her, but being with Minato prevented them from acting rashly. She knew that her child would also be abused by the village. So she passed away with a lot of unwillingness in her heart and an anger for Minato as well.

(A/N: I'll be referring to MC as Naruto from here on. I didn't name the MC as to avoid confusion.)

The Third Hokage took Naruto back into the village. Naruto knew better that the old man didn't care about him as much as he cared about his teammates and he'll let him experience such a difficult childhood letting people name him demon and letting him get beaten up, even advising the Anbu to just stand back and watch and only to interfere if something was life threatening. Naruto as he had read till the last chapter of the Manga, he knew that he was a huge target in this world and has to gain power to survive. He was not naive and didn't care about the village and anyone else.

He knew that he had a lot of enemies both inside and outside the village. What he needed was strength. He wasn't sure how he got to this world. He was supposed to be a slave in a magical world and by the kindness of that lady, he received a devil fruit power, but now he didn't even know weather he had that power anymore. He was just a baby now and couldn't do anything about it. So he just went to sleep as it was hurting like hell after the fox was sealed inside him. He will have some time till he grows up and the villagers attack him. So he'll think about it later when he grows up.

Two years later

Two years passed. In this time, Naruto learnt to walk and also awakened his chakra when he was just 1 year old. He also found out that he indeed had the power of more more fruit, but his body wasn't strong enough to use the fruit to its full abilities. He could only increase the size, or mass of an object he touches three times. But It came in handy for training as he increased his own weight three times. It was not like weight training or gravity training which would impede his growth or create injuries. His total mass just increased. He first increased his weight just a little and started increasing it more and now he used three times his weight all the time and became adjusted to it now.

He also did the leaf exercise sticking leaves into his body using chakra to increase his chakra control. After he became 2 years, he started practicing tree climbing exercise in the orphanage. The third Hokage also met him many times and he had to act like a good kid in front of him for now until he was strong enough. He didn't care about others and minded his own business. He knew that in another 2 years, he would be kicked out of the orphanage courtesy of Danzo and fake Hiruzen. They both were like Good cop Bad cop in the movies.

Another two years passed and he was 4 years old now. After practicing and training in the orphanage, he was low Genin level while his chakra was high Chunin level because of his Uzumaki heritage and being the Jinchuriki. He also practiced walking on water and is able to walk on water now. Also he can use the more more fruit and increased his weight five times. The only extra thing that shocked him was that he awakened Kagura's mind eye. The same sensing ability that Karin Uzumaki had. Now he can sense his surroundings and notice anyone within half a kilometre of him. As he anticipated, the rumours of Naruto being a demon started and he got kicked out of the orphanage now and Hiruzen assigned an apartment for him. Several Anbu also started keeping an eye on him. He could sense the root ninjas were also among them as their chakra was different from normal ninjas using the Kagura's mind eye.

Along with the apartment, he was also given a very small allowance to which he went to verbally fight with the Hokage to increase the amount. After he met Hiruzen, he asked "Old man, this allowance money is too low. Increase it to atleast three times." Hiruzen replied "Naruto, the situation inside the village is not so good. So I can't spare more money than this. You have to make do with it. Besides, you are just a child and it will be sufficient for you". Naruto thought 'Yeah right. My father and Mother had earned a lot of money and you old people keep it for yourself and their son will not get enough money to even eat his fill'.

But he smiled to Hiruzen and said "Ok old man. I understand." Hiruzen nodded and said "Little Naruto, how about I take you to have lunch with me?" Naruto replied "Thank you old man, but I'm not hungry now, besides you must be busy. So maybe next time." Hiruzen frowned for a second hearing this, but his appearance came back the next second and said "Fine little Naruto. I'll take you next time." Then he dashed away leaving Naruto behind thinking 'That kid sure is smart. I need to know weather he is loyal to the village or not.'
