11.Leaving the village

Years passed and everything settled down and life of the people became normal again. Naruto was now 10 years old and was learning advanced fuinjutsu with the help of the shadow clones. He had also learnt wind style Rasenshuriken. His chakra control was near perfect. He could separate different coloured sands using his chakra. He also practiced chakra control by creating thin strings of chakra and making them more thin and durable and cutting objects with them.

He also developed the more more fruit powers. He can increase speed and strength and size of an object he touches 25 times. He also found out that the more more fruit powers can increase his healing as well. For the flying thunder god, Naruto cannot use it unless he's an fuinjutsu expert. All he could do now was create a fuinjutsu space time seal in different places and teleport from one to another. At this time, Kurama spoke "Oye kid, when are you going to return my other half? You are strong enough now aren't you?"

Naruto thought for a moment and replied "Ok. We'll leave the village and go to the land of whirlpools for that, but first I need a distraction to steal a forbidden scroll. That jutsu is necessary to get your other half back". Kurama nodded. Naruto then planned for a distraction and at night, he placed a teleportation seal at the centre of the village and went out of the village. He then caught an ape chakra beast that resembled the four tails, well without four tails. But was not as big. It was just around 8 ft or so. He then used a teleportation seal to teleport the beast in the centre of the village at night.

As soon as Naruto teleported with the ape beast, he touched the beast and murmured "More More size 20". Instantly the beast increased its size 20 times and roared startling everyone in the village. Naruto suddenly disappeared and hid himself. Hiruzen who was about to leave the Hokage's office noticed the sudden appearance of the ape like beast which reminded him of the Nine tails attack. Everyone else came out of their houses and seeing such a huge beast appear, were scared silly. Many Ninjas rushed towards the beast including Hiruzen. The appearance of the ape was similar to the 4 tails but with only a single tail.

Hiruzen thought that the village was attacked by Iwa as the four tails belonged to Iwa. So he mobilised all the Anbu and other Ninjas to attack the beast and also to guard the village. With the Ninjas scattered, there was no one guarding the Hokage office. Naruto sneakily entered the office using his Kagura's mind eye making sure nobody is nearby and finally went to the underground where scrolls are sealed. He moved and searched the scrolls for the second Hokage's forbidden scroll. After looking for a few minutes, he found the scrool.

Finding the scroll, he carefully sealed it inside a storage scroll and pocketed it. He then slowly exited the Hokage's office. Outside he saw that the beast was almost put down by Hiruzen and the other Ninjas. Witnessing this scene, he just simply hid his presence and sneakily went into the Namikaze compound. Outside, the beast was killed by Hiruzen and it suddenly shrunk down to the size of a mere chakra beast. Hiruzen frowned. He had misunderstood it as the attack from another village.

The ninjas then found the teleportation seals there and reported it to Hiruzen "Lord Hokage, we found a teleportation seal placed here which brought the beast here. It's similar to the nerfed version of forth's flying thunder god." Hiruzen nodded and said "But that doesn't explain how a mere chakra beast grew to the size of a tailed beast". The Anbu also didn't have any answers. Then Shikaku, the Jonin commander said "Lord Hokage, this must be done by a person familiar with the village and can cause the beast to increase its size using some wired medicine or experiment. This must just be a test run done by that person. The real attack might happen again and next time with a bunch of beasts and not a single one".

Hiruzen nodded but frowned saying "Orochimaru. It must have been him. He's the only one that can do this in the middle of the village, or it could have been the one that attacked the village with the nine tails back then". Shikaku nodded and spoke " You are right Lord Hokage, I suggest we stay alert and search for similar seals throughout the village and be ready for the next attack if it ever happens." Hiruzen understood and said "All right. Let's discuss it back at the office and make necessary precautions.". Shikaku and the other Anbu also nodded saying "Yes lord Hokage" and then everyone dispersed.

After the commotion ended, Naruto packed everything he needed like weapons, paper bombs, food, clothes inside the storage scrolls left by his mother and sneakily exited the Namikaze compound and without anyone noticing, left the village. He then found the Uzumaki house of masks in the outskirts of the village and searched it and found the shining oni mask with two horns there. He took another storage scroll and carefully sealed the mask inside it. After the work was done, he left the house of masks and made his way to the land of whirlpools to the ruins of the Uzumaki village.
