Arthur had distinct impressions of Ashley , as she appeared be someone resolute, though very young.

Despite lacking X-ray vision, Arthur deduced that Charlie's group had arrived.By estimating the footfalls, he approximated a gathering of at least a hundred individuals.

"Prepare yourselves. I'll head out for a task and meet downstairs later," Arthur instructed, ignoring the cash box on the bed.

He cleaned his bloodied fist with a piece of paper towel before leaving the room.This time, Arthur chose not to bring William Shaw and others along.Although William Shaw was skilled in combat, facing Charlie's large gang would be perilous.

Arthur's attention might be divided in trying to protect them.Even facing a hundred adversaries, Arthur could effortlessly overcome them with his physical prowess alone, without resorting to his superpowers.

Residents of the area were accustomed to the skirmishes among youth gangs.

Most retreated indoors, while some observed from a distance.William Shaw, hearing the commotion, hurried out and noticed Charlie's gang obstructing Arthur, his expression changing.

He quickly grabbed a stick."Drake, Max, and Jake, come with me," William Shaw urged, leading the brothers downstairs despite their trepidation in the face of Charlie's numerous cohorts.

"William Shaw, there are so many of them!" Drake exclaimed."Life and fate are unpredictable.

Trust in Arthur, as I do," William Shaw assured them before charging downstairs.

Charlie's gang, upon witnessing Arthur's strength, hesitated in their aggression. However, Charlie, intent on confrontation, instructed, "James, take him on.

"Arthur calmly assessed the situation and remarked, "Fighting one-on-one is dull. Why don't you all come at me together?"The taunt agitated Charlie, who sneered, and his tattooed comrade, James, stripped to engage Arthur.

Arthur effortlessly disabled James, causing a swift cessation of the gang's cheers.Now, faced with Arthur's prowess, Charlie and his crew were stunned. Despite their numerical advantage, they seemed isolated against him.

Aware of the inevitable confrontation, Charlie, attempting to salvage the situation, feigned friendliness, offering, "You've got skills.

Let's be allies. I'll treat you well."Unfazed, Arthur rebuffed the offer: "No need for that.

Since you're here, there's no way out for you.

"As Arthur advanced toward Charlie, his imposing presence left the gang of young toughs cowering.

Realizing the severity of the impending conflict, Charlie seethed, "This is outrageous! Get him! Five hundred for wounds, ten thousand for death!"
