First Time Seeing Her Husband/Boss (2)

"Let's see who it is."

Chase went and opened the door and infront of her she saw two tall bulky guards. One was bald while the other had a scar which started from his left eyebrow stretching towards his right eye.

"Who are you?"

"We were sent here my Elder Master Lu Min to bring you to the Ancestral mansion."

She knew she was now married but she didn't know if she was ready to leave her condo yet.

"Can't you leave and come back tomorrow instead?"

"I'm sorry, but it was a direct order and we cannot disobey."

"What's going on Chase?" Victoria asked coming down the stairs while wiping her face with a towel. Looks like she had just finished brushing her teeth.

"And who are these men?"

"They said they work with the Lus. They were sent here to take me away from my peaceful home."

Victoria looked at the men, "Can't you take her tomorrow? She clearly isn't ready to go yet."

"I'm sorry miss but that isn't possible."

"But..."

Chase sighed. "It's okay Vicky. I'll call you as soon as I can okay? And besides, we'll still hang out a lot."

"Hmm, fine. But I'll still call your brother and tell him about this."

"Sure. Bye."

They hugged and the two men led Chase to the car waiting for them just outside the Condominium.

Chase couldn't believe it. She was actually married now and it was just sinking in. She looked at her condo which was getting smaller by the minute until it finally disappeared from her sight.

She didn't even get the time to take her clothes even though they weren't important. The only valuable thing to her was her mother's necklace which she was wearing and never took off. She always felt a sense of comfort wearing it and if she took it off, it felt as though something was missing.

That was how much she treasured the gold necklace.

After what felt like eternity in the car, a large mansion came into full view. It was even bigger than her family mansion.

It was located at a remote area and was the private villa of the Lus. The building itself looked magnificent.

After the car had been park, she alighted from it walked into the mansion slowly and unsure. She was still in her PJs which made it all the more uncomfortable.

A guard stationed at the door opened it for her and she walked in and damn! The inside was even bigger than the outside. She felt like she was in a palace. The Griffin Mansion wasn't even big compared to this!
