Charlotte Reeves, a wealthy middle aged painter must face the reality of raising a troublesome 8 year old son alone after the divorce from her husband, Detective Jon. Ratzinger woke up to the familiar faces of Charlotte and Jacobi staring down at him. He turned and opened his eyes fully, realizing that he had been out for a while. He tried to stand up immediately but he found out that his arms and legs were tied firmly.

"Don't bother Detective Ratzinger," Jacobi said. "Just remain like that if you love yourself." Ratzinger stared across at the three of them, Jacobi, Charlotte and the little child that sat on the ground beside Charlotte.

"Your son?" he turned to face Charlotte. "Very handsome. He looks like you and some guy I don't know. He should look like you and me."

Charlotte turned to Jacobi and rolled her eyes. "I should have allowed you slit his throat in his sleep" she murmured. Jacobi laughed and walked up to Pukki Ratzinger, counting his strides slowly as he walked.
