The system was something you'd expect from novels, nothing surprising. The protagonist uses the system to show off, humiliate enemies, and eventually ends up with a harem, defeating everyone, and reaching the pinnacle of life.
But what the heck is this "Waifu" stuff?
Is it trying to push me toward a life of crime? Can't I get a wife or at least a mature woman instead?
However, this Kyoka Suigetsu seems pretty cool. It's the Zanpakuto of Aizen Sosuke, the big boss from Bleach. With this, even if I can't reach Aizen's level, at least in this world, few people would be able to harm me.
As Aizen was grumbling in his mind, Uchiha Izumi walked over and sat down next to him. "Aizen-kun, what are you thinking about?"
"Nothing, nothing," Aizen said, feeling a bit guilty as he glanced at Uchiha Izumi.
"Aizen-kun, I just talked to Itachi. He mentioned your family... You don't have to bottle everything up. You can cry if you want. My parents..."
Izumi tried to comfort him, but as she spoke, she started to cry herself.
At that moment, the system prompt sounded again:
"Ding! As the ultimate Cad, how can you just watch a your Waifu cry in front of you?"
"1. Comfort Waifu. Reward: heaven technique from The Outcast universe."
"2. Ignore her. Reward: A pair of old underpants from Danzo in the Naruto universe."
"Will martial arts techniques from another universe work in this world? And what's up with Danzo's old underpants?" Aizen's mouth twitched. With no other choice, he sighed and began to comfort her. Gently stroking Izumi's head, he said softly, "It's okay. Go ahead and cry. Once you cry it out, everything will be fine. If your family were still alive, they'd be happy to see you safe and sound."
He definitely didn't want Danzo's old underpants.
Hearing Aizen's words, Izumi couldn't hold back any longer and began crying in his arms.
Hearing the heart-wrenching cries of the girl, the surrounding refugees were reminded of their own lost loved ones and began to tear up as well.
In that moment, the entire shelter—from the elderly to little Uchiha Sasuke—was filled with the sounds of wailing.
Just then, the system prompt sounded in Aizen's mind again:
"Ding! Congratulations to the host for completing the task. You are rewarded with the Zanpakuto Kyoka Suigetsu. Would you like to extract it now?"
"Ding! Congratulations to the host for completing the task. You are rewarded with the Tiangang Jue technique. Would you like to extract it now?"
"That was fast." Aizen glanced at the crying little Waifu in his arms, then at Itachi in the distance, who was anxiously trying to comfort Sasuke. He couldn't help but be a bit surprised.
What he didn't know was that in the original story, Uchiha Izumi's feelings for Itachi weren't because of his outstanding talents but because he had saved her during the Nine-Tails attack, appearing like a hero when she was at her most helpless and desperate.
The "hero saving the damsel in distress" trope never gets old, especially for someone like Izumi, who was just beginning to experience emotional development.
"I'll hold off on extracting them for now." He wasn't sure what form the rewards would take. If a sword or a book suddenly appeared, it would definitely attract the attention of Konoha.
After all, there were quite a few Root ninjas secretly monitoring the Uchiha clan in the area!
Danzo loved collecting unique abilities.
After a while, Izumi finally stopped crying. With her face flushed, she rose from Aizen's embrace, still sniffling. "I'm sorry... I came to comfort you, but I ended up crying instead."
Aizen shook his head, indicating it was fine. He then turned to look in the direction where the Nine-Tails was rampaging. The noise had suddenly stopped. With a murmur, he said, "It looks like it's over."
The Nine-Tails attack ended at the cost of the Fourth Hokage, his wife, and countless other ninjas.
Thus, Konoha's Fourth Hokage, the Yellow Flash of the Shinobi World, Minato Namikaze, passed away.
It was said that he had sacrificed his life to seal the powerful Nine-Tails that had nearly destroyed the village.
The entire shinobi world was moved by his willingness to sacrifice everything for the village.
Of course, while some were moved, others were undoubtedly happy to see it happen.
People like the Third Tsuchikage Onoki, the Fourth Kazekage Rasa, and Danzo from Konoha were probably thrilled by the Fourth Hokage's death.
The first two were pleased that Konoha's power had weakened, while Danzo was simply excited by the possibility of taking over.
Meanwhile, within Konoha, the conflict between the Uchiha clan and the village, which had started to ease after the Fourth Hokage took power, flared up once again.
Led by Danzo, Konoha's upper echelon openly expressed their strong suspicion of the Uchiha clan, accusing them of controlling the Nine-Tails and causing the chaos.
The Uchiha clan was forcibly relocated to the outskirts of the village, away from the center, and placed under surveillance by the ANBU.
The Third Hokage, although aware that this would provoke dissatisfaction within the Uchiha, still chose to silently allow Danzo's actions.
From that point on, the rift between the Uchiha clan and Konoha deepened, almost to the point of no return.
The next day, Konoha held a grand funeral for the Fourth Hokage, his wife, and the many ninjas who had sacrificed their lives.
After a passionate and emotional speech by Hiruzen Sarutobi, Konoha began its extensive rebuilding process.
Because Aizen's parents were both ninjas, and his father had died fighting the Nine-Tails, he didn't get sent to the orphanage like ordinary civilians. Instead, he was assigned his own residence.
Every month, he would receive a meager stipend, just enough to survive until he graduated from the Ninja Academy.
But Aizen didn't care about any of that. Knowing the dark side of Konoha, he felt no sense of belonging to the village.
As soon as he was assigned his house, he shut the windows and doors and quietly summoned the system.
"System, extract Kyoka Suigetsu and heaven technique"
As soon as he finished speaking, a flash of golden light appeared before his eyes. Reflexively, he closed them. When he opened them again, a sheathed katana with a light green hilt was in front of him.
In his mind, he now knew how to use Kyoka Suigetsu, as well as
heaven technique from The Outcast universe.
First, Aizen tried using Kyoka Suigetsu. He found that as soon as he activated it, it drained his chakra. With his young, weak six-year-old body, which had only just learned chakra extraction techniques, he couldn't sustain Kyoka Suigetsu for long.
Next, he tried heaven technique and couldn't help but show a hint of excitement on his face.
