Hidden Inventory V

" We have to go get Kuroi!! Please we have to go get her!!" Riko screamed as tears dripped down her cheek, as she looked pleadingly at the two unconcerned sorcerers in front of her.

She didn't want her only family to die a miserable death because of her, else she would never be able to forgive herself.

" It's alright Riko, we're here to help." Satoru smiled and patted her shoulder. " It'll soil our reputation as the strongest if we let her die on our watch!" He smiled confidently and added.

" Shit! I underestimated Kuroi's importance to the enemy." Suguru facepalmed.

" The enemy is probably going to try to take advantage of the hostage situation and demand Riko in exchange for Kuroi. Or they'll ask us to kill her in exchange for the life of Kuroi." Satoru said after deep thought.

" Since we have Riko, we just need to coordinate a meeting with them and then we'll handle the rest." Suguru said.

" And then we can take her to Jujutsu High and use Ieiri as a double." Satoru said uncaringly, however he failed the notice the slight look of uncomfort on the face of his friend after he mentioned using Ieiri as a double.

" Why don't we use Utahime? She's a bit strong unlike Ieiri and can escape easily." Suguru countered with his own plan to which Satoru inwardly groaned.

" No way I'll let you guys go alone! I'm coming too, I haven't said goodbye to Kuroi!" Riko spoke with complete determination. Perhaps she blindly believed that the two sorcerers in front of her were going to successfully save Kuroi.

" We'll be getting a call from the kidnappers soon. And if taking you along means Kuroi's chances of survival are going to reduce, we'll leave you behind." Satoru said and walked off.

..........24 hours later, Okinawa, Japan....

" I'm so embarrassed. I can't believe I let myself get kidnapped by some shabby sorcerers !" On a beach, a beautiful lady in a swimsuit spoke in exasperation, and beside her was a young man in a summer shirt and shorts.

" You should thank Satoru. He was the one who busted in to save your ass after all. He's being using his cursed technique continuously for some time without resting. I'm even worried a bit for him. " Beside him, the young handsome man with slightly long black hair tied to a little ponytail said with a smile.

" You're right Suguru. He was like a one man army." She smiled as she looked forward and smiled seeing two figures playing around in the ocean, splashing volumes of water on themselves.

" Besides, I don't even understand why you guys took a plane, when you could've driven there." Kuroi spoke with slight apprehension.

" It's alright. My cursed spirits were on maximum alert on the plane. It was actually safer than taking an unfamiliar route and entertaining the probability of getting ambushed." Suguru said.

"Before we took off, Satoru checked out all the passengers and pilots and ensured they weren't a threat before we boarded, you know , there aren't a lot of things that can escape his eyes." Suguru smiled lightly.

" Even if they can't kill Master Riko, did they do this to delay the merger which is supposed to happen tomorrow ? Was it to buy time?" Kuroi asked and looked at Suguru.

" I'm actually concerned about why they chose Okinawa, in the first place." He waved his hand and said.

" What if they plan to attack the airport?" She said, raising her voice in alarm. " It's alright, we're not the only ones who came to Okinawa, if they try anything, they'll definitely get their asses busted." He smiled and walked towards the ocean.

......

" Sigh. I don't think this is an appropriate mission for a first year like you." At the airport, two youths dressed in the standard Jujutsu High uniform, ate at a store, trying to blend in with the normal people.

" It's alright, Nanami-senpai. I'll be fine." The other figure said as he slurped ramen from a bowl before him.

These were the reinforcements from Jujutsu High; Kento Nanami, a second year grade 1 and Zen'in Kurama a first year grade 1.

" Sigh. I can't believe they put me on this mission. Couldn't that old man have chosen any other student?" Nanami sighed and said.

" Come on senpai, Satoru and Suguru senpai are putting their lives on the line for a little girl, the least we could do is ensure their safe travel." Kurama spoke as he ate.

...

" Oi Satoru, I think we should be leaving anytime soon." Suguru shouted, as Satoru and Riko who were playing in the ocean immediately stopped and their faces turned sour.

" Come I'm Suguru, do you always have to be the party pooper? The weather is great, and we're all enjoying ourselves, why don't we leave tomorrow morning, huh, besides Riko's bounty ends tomorrow, so I think leaving tomorrow is good." Satoru said as he walked out of the ocean.

" Fine. But you've been using your cursed technique consistently, aren't you exhausted? You should rest." Suguru immediately pinpointed. " You should sleep as well, you can't stay up all night like you've been doing." Suguru added, with his face plastered with concern.

" It's alright, I'll be fine. Besides what do I need to worry about when you're here." He shrugged and walked away as Suguru facepalmed.

.....

" Uhhh okay sure, take your time and don't worry, we'll be here to clear the paths for you guys." Back at the airport, Kurama received a call and ended it swiftly.

" Nanami senpai, it seems they've chosen to arrive tomorrow morning instead." Kurama spoke slowly, as he didn't want to get Nanami angry. " Sigh. I should probably quit being a sorcerer after this, maybe I should get a job with a good pay, like a c suite job." Nanami sighed as he thought.

.....

Tokyo... Jujutsu High...

" It's good to be back home." Satoru smiled as he walked around with the others within a familiar compound.

" Everyone can take it easy now, we're within Jujutsu High's barrier now" Suguru added, as Riko and Kuroi heaved a sigh of relief.

" Thanks for you hard work Satoru." Kuroi bowed slightly to Satoru and Suguru next as Riko playfully hit his shoulder.

" No more babysitting! Yes!!!" Satoru smiled happily, however within a split second, his six eyes caught whiff of something closing on his position fast.

" Shlck!" The next moment, under the eyes of everyone, a long sword immediately pierced from his back all the way to his stomach.

" Impossible!!!" Suguru as well as everyone else was taken aback, as they saw Satoru bleeding from his lips as he staggered.

" Do I know you from somewhere?" Satoru turned around and looked at the figure behind him with a small smile.

" Probably not. " The man chuckled and swiftly pulled out his blade from inside of Satoru's body as he staggered forward.....
