Shaga couldn't remain oblivious to the sudden changes in Adrian since their marriage and the arrival of Sebastian into their small family. It left Shaga feeling uneasy, knowing that Adrian was hiding something from him.
Adrian seemed to doubt him and chose to keep his problems to himself. It wasn't an ordinary issue, especially when Adrian would frequently receive secretive phone calls behind Shaga's back, quickly ending them when Shaga approached. What was happening?
Just as someone called Shaga as they were preparing to sleep, it marked the fourth call in the last few minutes.
"Who calls in the middle of the night like this?" Shaga grumbled with irritation in his voice. More than being irritated, Shaga felt disappointed in Adrian, though he chose not to voice it.
Adrian didn't respond. Instead, he smiled and left the room. Shaga let out a sigh, burying himself in the blanket, mumbling, "Whatever. It's pointless to talk to him about it."
