Everything felt surreal as deafening cheers rang out in the great hall of the Skyclaw Guardians Pack Castle. Kylo and Logan had just passed leadership of the Shadowcrest Warriors Pack to me. The new responsibility weighed heavily on my shoulders, as honor mixed with trepidation filled my chest.
I clasped Logan’s arm, meeting his gaze with earnest. “Thank you, brother, for everything.”
Logan’s smile was warm with affection. “You’ve earned this, Seven. Now, shape your Pack into what it should have been long ago.”
I turned to Kylo next, dipping my head respectfully. “And thank you, Alpha, for entrusting me with this role, despite my roots.”
Kylo eyed me solemnly. “Seven, you have proven yourself worthy many times over. Rule justly.” He paused before adding, “And if you should ever need counsel or aid, you have but to ask.”
