The engine growled as I fired up my car, echoing through the silent woods. A deep sense of satisfaction filled my soul as I pulled onto the main road, heading back toward the glittering city lights. Bringing Seven into the Family was the right choice. With him at my side, Lycia would be safe, and Seven would finally have the vengeance he deserved.
The city shone like a jewel in the distance as we drove through the velvety night. Tomorrow would bring new challenges, but we would face them together as a family, the Kahn Family.
But tonight, we celebrated. It felt good to stretch my wolf and feel the cool breeze against my face and fur. My wolf growled his agreement.
The lights of downtown grew brighter as we drew near the city. I gunned the engine, heading for home.
Seven leaned back in the passenger seat, more at ease now than earlier. Now, I just had to ensure that he and Lycia were protected, no matter what enemies came our way.
