The first

Things have been going surprisingly good. Though I can't help feel like it's the calm before the storm.

Anna and I have been hanging out as often as we can. She's in college now and told me she decided to move out of her parents house. Of course her mother was not happy about it.

I was returning to my office from the board room,where Dante had a meeting with some foreign investors.

Dante had stayed behind while I left to go and type the minutes from the meeting and file them.

I just opened the door when I was shocked to see who was in my office.

"Hello Lisa."

It was Anna's mother.

"Hello" I knew deep down that nothing good could come from this woman visiting me.

I walked towards my chair and sat down.

"I want you to stay away from my daughter. I knew from the beginning that you were nothing but trouble. And now my daughter has turned against me."
