Living Doll

In the headquarters lobby, the looks on Jules, Blaire, and Zoya's faces were gloomy and helpless. How could that be! Just got out of the elevator, already got word from the workers to give the Professor a message. Such an astounding message, if Clare heard it they were sure Clare would be even darker than the three of them. Don't know where the seniors are, the three of them are fed up with all this. It's possible that the seniors have already received the same news.

Clare and Luke came together because they received a call. They only receive calls, not the usual direct messages displayed through Clare. Clare ran to her friends calmly, she didn't want to let her friends see her gloomy like before.

Maybe this is good for him, but not good for his mind. He had suffered enough at the academy because of the same dormitory with these rebels. He likes silence, while his colleagues like the crowd will always make noise. Not all of them, but average! Even Clare was getting into trouble almost every day. Louis and Jules fought almost every day like a dog and a cat. Zoya can't stay still, going here and there becomes Clare's partner causing trouble. Eryk and Xavier keep on raving about Zoya who often misses it. Indeed, only Blaire was cold among the others besides Luke. They never got along, even to the point of creating their own group.

Now focus on Clare. She really panicked and his heart felt like it was going to jump here and there. She was afraid of his parents' reaction, she had to find a way to get her parents' approval without being sent to Korea.

At Clare's house.

Clare quietly entered the house with the package in her hand. Clare immediately put it in front of the door then crept through the living room which was quite large in size to the stairs after passing through the living room. She had just stepped three steps, a hand landed on her shoulder making her shudder for a moment. Hands with long black nails, supported by white skin make it feel like being in a haunted house.

Clare turned quickly and shouted at the sight of a white-faced figure right in front of her. Two screams echoed through the house until the housemaid fell over hearing two screams at the same time. After a few seconds they both kept their mouths shut. Clare focused on seeing the creepy white figure that looked familiar. Instead, the figure stared at her blankly.

"Mom!" Clare was wide-eyed.

"You think I'm a ghost?" Marine protested. She does look like a ghost with a white mask on her face. It was natural for Clare who was in a mess to scream loudly. It was so loud that it made the Marines scream.

Clare paled a little. Faced with something like this, her ideas turned to ashes and she was transfixed especially seeing Marine looking at her as if she was demanding justice.

"Where have you been back home?" Marine demanded in a gruesome tone as a mother's mother.

"Mom... I'm tired, I'll ask later. All the groceries are already at the door, I'll go. Byee." Clare turned and continued on to the next step.

Suddenly Clare couldn't walk anymore. Her legs seem to be frozen with ice let alone he feels cold all over her body. This is Marine's additional ability, Marine is too terrible to use her ability.
