Change

The lesson was quiet between the three of them. Each focused on themselves and their books including paying attention to the way Professor Lewis practiced magic in front of students with certain spells.

All the students followed him except for Jules who was in a bad mood, he just wrote unclear writing in the book and didn't want to be disturbed.

"Ms. Ramsey." Admonished prof. Lewis but Jules paid no heed.

"Ms. Ramsey...." Prof. Lewis raised his voice slightly causing Jules to stare straight at him like an idiot.

"Show me the transforming spell you just learned."

"Transforming?" Jules said again as if disdainfully and got Prof. Lewis' nod

Everyone watched her including Clare and Blaire waiting for Jules' action. Jules raised her hand and without uttering a spell, she turned her classmate named Jake into a prof. Lewis.

All the students laughed at him and were surprised at the prof. Lewis who becomes 2. Prof. Lewis looks just as surprised to see his other self in the same place, while Jake, who is now prof. Lewis is confused and embarrassed when he turns into a 50-year-old old man.

"Jules, what did I do to you? Give me back!" Jake whined at Jules while she just giggled.

"Ms. Ramsey," said Prof. Lewis, "Give him back."

Jules nodded and in the blink of an eye, Jake's face was back to normal. Jake regained his composure and sat down in his place even though someone was still laughing.

"Shut up everyone," said Prof. Lewis. "Ms. Ramsey, what spell did you use to change Mr. Ronald? I just taught a shapeshifting spell."

Jules snorted. "At least I can do what the professor tells me to do."

Prof. Lewis just shook his head, not wanting to argue with stubborn Jules, then he glanced at Blaire to test her.

"Ms. Osborne, show me that spell."

Blaire picked up a pencil and placed it on the table before she finally cast the "Mutatio" spell.

The pencil turns into a dry twig. Blaire looks disappointed that the pencil didn't turn out to be what she thought it was but what she was afraid of.

"It's okay, at least there's progress." said the pro. Lewis then reshaped Blaire's pencil and returned to its original place. "In chanting a mantra, one must focus and be able to master it. Otherwise, the spell will get out of control. This also applies to black magic, if we can't master it, it will turn towards us...."

Prof. Lewis again explained some about magic and how to control it. Since then Clare tried to use spells but it always didn't work, she also asked Blaire to teach her but the result was the same. She felt that she was completely useless. Clare also asked Jules, but Jules didn't want to teach her and instead was alone.

Now Clare decided to walk alone in the academy. When his gaze fell on the forest, she remembered the plant that Louis asked for and she had passed several hours, Louis must have thought Clare was dead. At least it was good for Clare, but Clare couldn't hold the order plant in her bag. Clare went to the park intending to call Thumbelina.

"Thumbelina."

"I'm coming." Thumbelina flew towards Clare ignoring the other fairies.

Clare turned and saw Thumbelina flying in front of her with a fairy in purple clothes.

Clare smiled lightly. "Jessabele, are you here too?"

Jessabele nodded quickly. "We're playing."

"Am I bothering you?" said Clare

"No, what's calling?" Thumbelina said.

Clare sighed then took the bag of plants Louis ordered and handed it to Thumbelina.

"Give this to Lotus to pass on to Louis." Clare handed the bag to Thumbelina.

"I'll tell you." Thumbelina said enthusiastically and then flew off with the bag with Jessabele.

Clare sighed because her mission had been completed. She entered the castle and returned to the dormitory.
